The manager and waitress were excellent and service was very good. everyone was very friendly, efficient and professional.

Visited here a few times now and always found the staff very helpful. On this occasion the delivery was running later so there was a slight delay in are order. We found this no issue we were brought are drinks and my little boy didn’t have to wait too long for his starter. For main mum and I had the new pea ravioli and were both very impressed!!! My little boy had the pizza slight issue was it was slightly over cooked which he didn’t like. The only thing I would say is maybe they need more staff he front of house person didn’t an excellent job but probably could have done with an extra pair of hands!!

You really can't go wrong. It's not the cheapest, or the best, but it sits right in the middle, which is what most people want! Great service, reliably good food and well looked after. Nice draft beer too!

I cant praise prezzo southport enough,fantastic customer service! Went above and beyond with all there help after receiving the wrong order from just eats and spending 45 minutes trying to get hold of just eats. Fantastic food and service, thank you prezzo southport !

I have dined here many times, and each time has been a 1st class experience and a pleasure! Sampling exquisite cuisine and being looked after by extremely attentive lovely kind staff!

Nice enough restaurant, friendly and hard working staff. Only issues were: 1) quite a few things unavailable on menu 2) no draft beer available 3) not enough staff on duty (the 2 on duty worked very hard)

Sat down with my family to enjoy a birthday meal, on a table which was placed next to another table with 2 screaming babies in high chairs, (clearly very tired at this late time of night), we soon realised, the children belonged to a member of staff who kept tending to them whilst feeding them food from the restaurant. We then waited 1 hour for our starter, which was ‘ok’ then after waiting another 45 mins, we’d decided enough was enough. We went to the till area (where all the staff congregated to chat) and said we would not wait any longer for our main course. The girl on the till said she was really sorry, but there were big staffing issues. We did not pay for our meal and we left! Never to return……

Predictably good, tasty food. Friendly responsive service. Nice atmosphere, space not too crowded.

The food was average but the service was shocking! We waited an hour for starters and then another hour for our main course. People around us were equally unhappy! We ended up there because everywhere else was booked up...now we know what they had tables!

I treated my niece and her 2 children to lunch on Monday, we all had a fabulous time, the atmosphere was great, and the staff Connor and Salah were brilliant, extremely helpful and polite. The food was gorgeous, all of us really enjoyed everything. Thank you so much, I really recommend this Prezzo.

We had booked a party of 13 for dinner and a 50th birthday celebration with cake. The booking was cancelled by the restaurant on the afternoon of the booking, citing staffing problems. Fortunately we were able to find another restaurant, which went out of the way to make up for the disappointment and anguish caused.

Waited a while to be noticed and seated. Waited a while to order my drink. Waited a while for the drink (blood orange lemomade). Ordered a chicken burger and truffle fries, waited about 30 mins for this to come and when it did it was cold. The burger was luke warm and soggy, the chips were hard and cold, the food had obviously been sitting there for some time. I was really hungry, so I ate the food and (nice big portion of chicken, but soggy bun and cold) and I couldn't wait to get bill. I would have sent it back, but I just wanted to eat and get out. I will not be returning, will be going to the independent Italian restaurant next door but one next time. I came here as I had a discount voucher. Maybe they don't employ enough staff to run the restaurant... an awful lot of waiting for burger and chips.

Service absolutely disgusting, never been to a restaurant were everyone was complaining about the time it took to get there food ,in the end we and several others walked out.

Waitress was lovely. However food was some of the worst I’ve eaten. Arancini balls coming out stuck together from the fryer. Pizza hardly cooked and cold. Wine ok - beer flat and warm. Not the best to say the least Please sort it out. Won’t be back

We came to prezzo twice in July, and just wanted to make sure we wrote a review about our servers the first time was Tony and the second time was Chris both really attentive to us and couldn’t ask for better servers. Thankyou!

Used to come here often for food and catch up with friends since Christmas and was always perfect, staff out front were absolutely fantastic, really attentive and looked after us well. There seems to of been a change in staff now though and they're just not it. Rude girl on the hosting stand with blonde hair and the rest of the staff seemed utterly clueless and chaotic. Food was still nice as always, once the correct order was actually put through to them... Will try again at a later date and hope for improvement I suppose.

Nice location, good choice of food options especially for kids. My son is fussy and ordered the cloudy lemonade but was disappointed with the lack of “fizz” but surprisingly the manager had notice and offered him a 7 up which was very kind of her. He was happy!. Rest of the evening was great food was nice, service good and manager came over for a chat which was really nice and gave us some tips on where to go in the local area. Incredibly slow service with no apology. After 1 hour and 10 minutes we had only had 4 starters delivered to our table of 6. Mains were promised in the next 10 minutes but took another 20. Not like they were busy either - only 7 (of 20+) tables in use. Food was ok, but nothing special. I know Italy invented the slow food movement, but this was ridiculous.

Whilst the food was good as every other time having visited, the service time was off putting, 30 minutes until starters were served which I understood due to it being fairly busy. Finished our starters and they hadn't been collected for another 20, then proceeded to wait almost 50 minutes for our mains, at the time the restaurant only had a few tables left. Spent over 2 hours in the restaurant, very unhappy.

We came as a party of 9 at 4.30 on 27th June. EVERYTHING was excellent. The man who served us was obliging, friendly and helpful. Drinks were lovely and our food was absolutely delicious. A great start to our evening out at the Atkinson. Thank you very much.
