Prezzo in Winchester

Prezzo voucher won on their promotion when visiting Port Solent venue, free 3 course meal for 2 off the Gift of Prezzo menu. As expected limited choice, but great options, portion size on the larger size. Meatballs for starter (4 balls)was a big starter, the bruschetta was also of good size and tasty. Mains spag bowl and speciality pizza, again tasty and piping hot, finished off with a generous portion of tiramisu. Overall great option and even better being free off a promotion. Recommend seating upstairs.

We were seated and it took a good 15 minutes to be served. We ordered drinks and mains at the same time. It took a long time for the drinks to arrive. At one point we heard staff telling new arrivals that there was a half hour wait for food. We had not been told this so assumed we were ahead of this wait. After a while, a table who had arrived far later than us were given their food. We got the attention of the team member and asked what was happening with our food. She said she would find out, then came back and said it wouldn’t be long. Another 10 minutes or so and we spoke to another team member who again said she would check. She came back and said it had just gone in the oven. it was then a further wait before our food was delivered. My friends meal was very hot. My pizzeta was not so hot, and all the filling topping seem to be dumped on the middle so it had a lot of bare pizza crust around the edge We totally accept that sometimes things go wrong, but it would’ve been nice to have been kept informed that there was a long delay, or that our order had been misplaced

Service was ok but we found the food was a poor standard for the price you pay. My pizza was burnt black underneath so was returned and I was offered some olives free of charge but they too were not of the same quality they used to be. These were from a tin in brine rather than the beautiful olives with garlic they used to serve. The food was very basic and it just isn't somewhere we would go now for a special occasion.

Definitely not service with a smile. The waitress was unfriendly and sour. Pizza average. Tiramisu was terrible. Won’t be coming back.

Lunchtime meal out whilst shopping. Usually a very good experience at this restaurant but this time very disappointing. After starters, the waitress took our dirty knives and forks off our plates and put them down on the bare table for us to reuse for the main course. As we were helping ourselves to fresh cutlery from the next empty table she arrived immediately with our main course and said absolutely nothing as she gave us cold pizza which had clearly been hanging around for some time. No-one came to ask us how our food was as too busy chatting behind the bar. Only when we asked for the bill did we give feedback to aa different and more interested waitress. Recommend avoiding for the school holidays!

Haven’t been to Prezzo for a while and this visit reminded me why. The restaurant is fine and the staff were good. The food is ok,nothing special,and pretty overpriced in my opinion. Dessert was disappointing with an expensive serving of the worst tiramisu I’ve had for a long time. If you like Italian food then there are plenty of nice Italian restaurants around with better food and much more reasonable prices.

I have recently been to Prezzo in Whiteley 4 times over the last 6 weeks, myself and my wife have made it our place to go now we can finally go for a meal without 3 kids in tow. The cost has gone up slightly on our last visit, however the food is exceptional and the service has been great, add that to the pleasant atmosphere and you really do have a great place to go. Well Done Prezzo Whiteley!

It's been a while since I ate in Prezzo and it will be a while till I eat there again. The restaurant was busy with only two staff, our waitress was helpful and friendly and an asset to the place. However as it was busy tables were slow to be cleared and there were piles of dirty glasses covering the bar. Unfortunately we were sat near a speaker and were blasted by loud rock music. The pasta was the worst I've had for a long time. Cold, tasteless with some odd looking peppers and lumps of chicken that had clearly been cooked at some other time and added. It was a bonus that there was very little chicken. Not a lunch that I will be in a hurry to repeat

A really busy restaurant despite which service, food quality and speed of service excellent. People are quick to moan when things go wrong but credit to the team at Prezzo for a lovely evening out. Many thanks.

A lovely meal with our granddaughter who was home from Uni. Our server Olivia so attentive and friendly that I wanted to review on Prezzo Voice however my daft husband had left our bill on the table and those details are needed in order to review. It was a really good experience and all of our food was delicious and incredible value. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We’re going back next week!

I had never been to a Prezzo before, but love Italian food so I went along with family for a Saturday evening dinner. I wish I hadn’t bothered. The menu is so overpriced for small portions. A regular pepperoni pizza £13.75 is smaller and less tasty than an Asda own pizza. My 11 year old daughter was still hungry after struggling through the dry and overcooked disaster. My wife had spaghetti carbonara £15.75 for a small microwaved pot. No egg and no bacon lardons - just plastic tasting crispy bacon bits from a packet. There were 10 members of our family, and no one was in the least bit impressed with what they had. To cap it all off a pint of tasteless lager was £6.95 and absolute worst of all £2.00 for half a pint of soda water! A disgrace.

We went here for lunch with our granddaughter who has a severe peanut allergy. What a refreshing experience to be able to enjoy a meal out with her and relax in the knowledge that this food establishment takes food allergies seriously. We were greeted by the manager who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. He looked after us the entire meal. This was my first experience at Prezzo and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was too, which isn’t always the case in big chain restaurants. This will definitely be on our list of safe go-to places to eat from now on.

Was a lovely meal however food came out within 5 minutes of ordering which I question was frozen or pre cooked and quickly heated up as we had to wait for our garlic bread to cook.which I feel prices £15 average for a meal is quite steep for frozen food

Excellent lunch. Food was great and the service from Josh couldn’t have been better. They were unfortunately out of the risotto, so we swapped to veg pizza, a huge calzone and the sea bass, all of which were excellent. Josh was very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us with all our allergy questions. Nothing was too much trouble for him which we really appreciated. We will definitely be coming back.

Family of 4, we stopped for dinner on our way home from a day out. Prompt service, great menu, good quality food. As it was a Sunday we were able to use our tastecard on the adult meals making it excellent value, will definitely return. Only improvements would be to bring back the tomato based prawn starter and a little quicker to bring the bill when finished.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a family birthday as we would normally do,but this time it was not good at all. The service we received from a young lady called Alex was terrible. we felt she was rude from start to finish, especially when we tried to use our free birthday dessert voucher with our blue light card (where in the t&c it says you can) it felt like every think we asked was a massive task for her. This really took the shine of my mother's birthday. This has also really put us off using the brand again. I would love to discuss this further with someone from head office or the local area manager

Using a Taste Card ( 2 mains for price of one) decided to lunch here. I had the full to bursting calzone chock full of pepperoni, chicken etc etc. Well, so it said or suggested. It was actually mainly full of AIR! At £17-50 ( without the discount) an outrageous price. Wife had the carbonara which she described as very good. Again £17-50! She also had a side salad. Utterly woeful . Lettuce, cucumber tomatoes and a dressing. But mainly lettuce .Nothing else. Bill came to £26. Even then I felt I’d been overcharged . Will I go again? Only if I get the offer of a free one. So, no!

Lovely evening meal- me and my two friends had three courses. The food was all delicious! Some of the cocktails were not as tasty- either really watery and flavourless or mega strong! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ other than that good service and good food!

Me and my husband came in with our two children, as a birthday treat and we genuinely couldn’t be happier. The front of house team were so good at accommodating my son with special needs. The food maybe could have a heat lamp installed but otherwise was delicious and really good value. Will be returning that’s for sure

Myself and a friend went in for a spontaneous lunch and we were greeted by a rather obnoxious man insisting we put on a mask. We are exempt and explained the reasons for this, he said ‘well without an exemption card we can’t come in’... we did say he wasn’t actually allowed to continue to ask us about a mask as stated on the government website. Anyway just to keep the peace we put one over our mouth just to walk to the table which was centimetres away! He said ‘you need to put it on properly’... at this stage we were getting quite fed up with his rude, uncaring approach and as we didn’t do as we were told he asked us to leave. We will not be returning to any branch of prezzo again after that awful experience.

I had lunch with my son an mum here in the half term week. The waitresses who took our orders were on the ball, with drinks delivered promptly. But there’s 3 pick up points for the chef:1. Only my son’s pizza initially arrived for main courses. Mine and my mum’s were forgotten, despite being ordered at the same time.2. At least 1/3 of my son’s pizza was uneaten as it did not have any topping on. In parts there was a 2 inch gap between the edge of the pizza and any type of topping. He is not fussy when it comes to pizza, so 1/3 uneaten speaks volumes.3. Looking at other tables, my son’s pizza wasn’t an isolated incident. At leat 3 other tables upstairs had uneaten / inedible leftovers on plates.

My husband, our 6 year old daughter & I visited today to celebrate my husbands birthday.We’ve always found it to be a really lovely restaurant with good food & really friendly staff.We were very impressed with the Covid measures put in which made it feel very safe but also as normal as possible & this made it a lovely experience.The staff are really helpful & friendly & were really sweet with our little girl. The food is always fab too.We will definitely be back & would definitely recommend this Restaurant to anyone

We ate here on 22nd September at lunchtime with some friends. All of us had the 2 for £10 menu. Really good value. King prawns for starters. Ssooooo tasty. Penne ariabatta with chicken and spaghetti carbonara were both excellent. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. My coffee was a bit strong. Staff made me a new one and brought a jug of hot water. Very covid19 safe. Will definitely return

I recently came to Prezzo with some friends for dinner and it was such a great experience. Despite having probably already cleaned the entire upstairs area, they sat us there as requested and although the booking was fairly late, we didn’t feel rushed and were looked after brilliantly by two lovely waitresses. The food and drinks were great and the restaurant was super Covid safe so we all felt extremely comfortable. Really lovely, friendly staff and a fabulous night. Thank you to the whole team!

The food was lovely, especially the penne arrabbiata made al forno with extra mozzarella! The calamari was also good and a big portion. The service was excellent. It was super busy and you could see everyone was working really hard but still smiling and engaging well with the customers. As it is open plan and square it is very noisy with everyone’s conversations. This wasn’t an issue for us as were a group of friends chatting lots ourselves adding to the noise but I wouldn’t want to come with my husband for a relaxing/quiet meal!

Lovely meal and speedy service! Visited on a Wednesday evening when a 40% off voucher was applicable and the restaurant was almost at full capacity with three waiters/waitresses. We were offered drinks and the waitress took our order pretty swiftly! The food was ordered shortly after and came within 15 mins, piping hot and delicious! I had chicken carbonara Al Forno and my partner had calzone! Really tasty and could not fault the meal or the service! Well done and thank you !

Had lovely service from Natalie very easy to talk to and knows what she’s doing. Would recommend trying to go upstairs as it’s better service. Clean and both genders toilets. Not to busy and lovely and quiet. Would definitely recommend for families.

Came here for dinner on Sunday 22 December. Arrived 20 minutes early and only greeted with friendliness, a good start. The food was delicious and looked fabulous too. The loos were so much better than Winchester or Eastleigh but could still have done with a little refurbishment to be honest. The décor is very modern and stylish and actually the sort of place you would bring someone to impress them (It's only a Prezzo, honest). The money-off coupon we were using got a bit lost in translation but the manager was a super star in getting it all sorted and we'd recommend you come here. We will come again.

Dinner for one sad lonely business diner is never the best. Quickly seated and friendly, attentive service, but the pizza wasn't terribly hot nor particularly tasty. Being English prevented one from complaining but really pizza in Prezzo should be right every time.

We came here on Sunday afternoon after a spot of shopping in Whiteley village.We were quickly Shown to a table - but unfortunately it was full of crumbs and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. We ordered coffees and had to ask for some sugar. I ordered a gluten free pizza and my partner had a carbonara dish. When the food came out we realised we had no cutlery or napkins and had to ask. The pizza was delicious- but as I began to eat it I noticed that underneath the pizza on the plate there was a film of black/ gritty substance. I returned it and was beginning to wonder if my pizza had been cooked on the same surface as “normal” pizza . As I am coeliac - this would have made me unwell. I had explained this to the waitress when I ordered. I had another pizza cooked for me and it was explained to me that they do use separate cooking pans for gluten free. It was delicious and I also made room for a gluten free honeycomb cheesecake too I had a voucher for 40% of mains so it was good value for money.

We visited Prezzo’s in Whitley today for my son’s 9th birthday with 7 of his friends. We didn’t book a party but Ian the manager was our host who really did make it a lovely evening for our son and all his friends. He was great with them, taking their orders in a child friendly way, quickly organising anything we requested and making it as easy as possible to have 8 children in the restaurant. I've found a eatery gem, clean neat ,helpful staff IE they had good knowledge of company products,I was seated quickly, the menu was gone through in detail, quickly served. In all a very pleasant experience ,thank you.

Well this place has certainly changed for the better. We arrived on a chilly, rainy Saturday night, it was not as busy as usual and after being initially seated downstairs near some noisy children, we asked to be moved upstairs, which was immediately accommodated.

Staffs is very friendly although service is abit slack as it is not busy on a Tuesday lunch. Food in general was good but a little disappointed on the Lobster and crab meat Ravioli, not much taste to the sauce as well as the fillings, taste more like salmon instead of crab and lobster.

Stopped for lunch with husband on the way back from hedge end. We decided on the 2 course deal at £15.95. I had calamari to start and my husband had the baked mushrooms which were a bit burnt to the top but he ate them anyway. We both had pizza for main. I went for the goats cheese with peppers and olives which was very tasty. My husband opted for a new vegan garlic mushroom pizza. The pizza itself was fine but it was topped with about 8 cloves of raw crushed garlic which my husband found very hard going and he doesn’t normally eat raw garlic but he presumed it was cooked with the mushrooms. . If the garlic had been cooked it would have been fine I would definitely recommend they do. We washed it down with a glass of house wine which was included in the price.

Very tasty meal, always the same when we go... excellent service by Agati nothing too much trouble. The pizza & pasta menu has plenty of choice. Good drinks menu too.

This was our second visit in a month. Returned as the service was fantastic and we had the same again tonight. Becky was great on both times and remembered us from the previous visit. Great service, prompt and the right side of chatty. Food is always superb quality and doesn't let us down

Its been a while since I have been to Prezzo. I remember the service being absolutely great and I am pleased to say that that same quality has been seen again today. Major kudos to both Chloe and Harley who provided great service. As did the chefs because my god the food was great. Just makes me wish I had something different than a salad. Superb work!

I had a lovely evening there with my daughter, and our waiter, Zach, was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, getting extra Parmesan for us and water too. He really ensured we enjoyed our evening, and I would definitely go back again..!!

Food on offer was varied and caters for all taste. Staff friendly and food arrived promptly. Good location and value for money would return again when next in the area. Risotto was delicious and desserts are fab

Visited on an evening out with my wife and 3 granddaughters. Warm and friendly greeting on arrival, lovely waiters and waitresses and initial orders taken quickly. Food was good, although my gluten free mushroom pizza was a bit of a struggle to eat - very dry and hard on the edges and not cooked in the middle. All other meals were lovely. Dessert was slow to be served but worth waiting for and there was a bit of a mix up on the bill which was quickly sorted. However, overall, I like Prezzo as staff were friendly and generally eager to please.

First all they didn't have us in booking. The drinks came fine order the food fine . We waited ages,.... then the garlic bread came SHOCKING!!! Dry only 2 bits disgusting . The pizza came cold we waited ages must been underneath the warming tray for ages . Just awful gone down hill. The service not bad bit slow . The pimms was so expensive the food & service was not up to the bill!!!!! Need chefs need 're training .

Went as a group of 4 adults and ordered from the summer special menu. Drinks and food ordered at the same time but drinks were only just arriving as food was being delivered to our table. Food was good but we may have ordered more drinks if they had arrived promptly. Clearing the table was slow so we asked for the bill when our deserts arrived rather have having to wait again. The restaurant was not busy at the time of our visit so no excuses for slow service.

Chloe was absolutely amazing and the food was great! Second visit here in a short while and both times were really good. Will be back again soon I'm sure!

Went here as a family group for my mums birthday as a treat! It was anything but!! Slow service and when the food did arrive it was poor quality, both fish dishes were cold and dry, one missing sauce, all other meals tasteless. I have eaten here many times and chose the restaurant based on this. We mentioned our meals were not up to scratch and the waitress could not have been less interested. Very poor quality of food and service.

My third visit in as many weeks! I just love the food, especially the filled ravioli, what more can I say!

Came here with family for evening meal and was very impressed. We all had different meals and they were all very tasty and well presented. The service was also very good from pleasant staff. I had a voucher which made it even better. Would certainly return.

We had a very pleasant meal here, as always. The food is good and the staff are attentive. It's even better when you can use a voucher! Just note - the gluten free version of the salads have no dressing and no alternative was offered.

Nothing special. Went for a family lunch and service was slow. Food was nice but nothing above average.

Unfortunately can’t give this restaurant any more marks as dirty/filthy milk jug, cold coffee and when we sat outside the tables had not been wiped for a very long time and no offer of wiping it before serving us to eat. Staff could have been more friendly and not so abrupt especially when it was extremely quiet lunchtime, can’t think what would have happened if they had had anymore than the four tables occupied - and they weren’t all at the same time.

We went here on Thursday for lunch, we waited 15mins for our order to be taken, then 40mins for our starters, shortly followed by main meal!! Asked for the bill which took another 20mins... there was only a handful off people dining

I had a really pleasant first time eating at prezzo, our waitress Chloe was outstanding. Great service, made a great effort to cater to what we wanted and make sure we were comfortable and happy. Her recommendations for food were also spot on as the flatbread sharing starter and breaded mozzarella were excellent (that sauce with the mozzarella was amazing). All round the night was great, the bottle of wine we had (also recommended by Chloe) was fantastic.

Took my mum there for a birthday lunch today. The music was a little loud and my mum asked then to turn it down slightly as she’s a tad deaf, the lovely waitress did so immediately. The service was prompt and very good. Very attentive and smiling staff. A very decent meal which my mum loved. Fantastic place. Great staff. Good value.

Disorganised chaos basically. Our food took so long to arrive (and 2 meals out of 4 arrived 20min after the first two) that I had plenty of time to assess the situation.

I visited Prezzo on Friday night and ate upstairs. I had the Tre gusti pizza and shared a garlic bread with my girlfriend. The food was good however service was a bit slow but this was made up by the waitress whos name i think was Chloe. She was very friendly and attentive and catered to my difficult needs. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and I will be visiting again.

I came in today to eat with my fiance and our two boys, we received excellent service from the staff, our food was amazing and the kids absolutely loved it! Such a lovely atmosphere and family friendly restaurant!

We chose Prezzo for lunch during a shopping trip to Whiteley. We both had the Penne pasta with basil pesto and side salad and cheesy garlic flatbreads which were freshly cooked and grear tasting .Service was friendly and efficient and the meal was good value .The restaurant advertises outside a lunch offer of a main and drink for £10 yet the choices of main are not detailed .We had to go inside to find out what this included -I feel they may be losing custom not advertising full details on the menu board outside-it's worth going in though !

Absolutely fantastic waitress. She was so lovely and attentive despite being on her own. Calamari and cheese garlic bread highly recommended. Also loved the small treat dessert and coffee.

Me and my partner came in this evening for date night and couldn't have asked for nicer food! The night was made even better because of our diamond waitress Ana. She was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit and made us feel extremely comfortable. Tonight was out first visit to the Whiteley branch of Prezzo as we would usually go to Port Solent but would not give a second thought about returning back here after this thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thanks a bunch to Ana and all the staff!

From the moment we arrived at prezzo we were made to feel so welcome, the atmosphere was lovely!

I cant say I was impressed with the food or the service.

We were served by Ania in Prezzo and she was wonderful! The food was lovely too, would definitely recommend!!

Prezzo's in Whitely is a mixture of ups and downs. Sadly the downs far outweigh the ups.

Been here probably 10 times or more and always food and service was great,until today we experienced something I never seen before on my life.

Now I cannot fault the food but the service was awful! It should not take 2 and a half hours for two people to have a two course meal!
