Prezzo in Suffolk Coastal

Staying in the area and wanted somewhere different to eat, nice warm welcome, our waitress Barbara was friendly, helpful and efficient, the food was excellent, fresh and hot and well presented, have been here before and nothing has changed still lovely staff and food .

We eat here fairly regularly n in our opinion, you always get a good meal at this Prezzo. We like the atmosphere and layout too.

I found the food only mediocre this visit. I chose the avocado, chicken and bacon salad. The garlic bread bites were dry. There wasn’t a lot of chicken but lots of green! The whole dish was dry. The prices are high now for a substandard meal.

Positives is you can usually just walk up and get a table, especially for 2. The food is usually pretty good, freshly prepared. Negatives - the atmosphere is a bit dead, the drinks are expensive (probably the most expensive in the Town in my opinion) and they serve short measures just to compound it.

Ordered a take away this afternoon, got all the way home to Ipswich to find out they had given us the wrong food!! Didn’t bother to check before we left as the receipt stated the food we had ordered. Tried to phone the restaurant 5 times, but they wouldn’t pick up!! So we ordered some new food from Woodbridge instead! Much better! Drove all the way back to Felixstowe to give them their food back and ask for a refund. Refund given begrudgingly! Hardly apologised either! Won’t bother with take away from here again, it’s always wrong!!
