Pret A Manger in Cherwell

I have been going to Pret for more than twenty years, they have always been the best sandwich and salad style makers on the high street, using local ingredients and excellent quality, so you never minded paying extra for that reason. Even I was a bit surprised at the cost this time, it has definitely jumped up. This restaurant is always crazy busy, the staff are so fast and serve you as quickly as humanly possible. Always a game to get a table, we usually hover outside as they seem to be the easiest to claim. Our lunch was delicious, even with the inflated cost, the quality is there and I will still come here because it’s the best.

Attended whilst at the village today with a friend. Cafe was clean and tidy but I just can’t get over paying £14.75 for a soup, small fruit pot and a flat white!!!! I know these types of places have a huge mark up on products but this was insane! Won’t be visiting again anytime soon!

The worst espresso i had in many years!

I would like to have some hot stuff, Pret a Manger is a good choice. Chicken with tomato sauce wrap is good, serve is fast, less then 3mins 1 purchase at cashier including to wait for a cup of hot flat white coffee.

Only 3 stars when I would normally give Pret a 5. This is due to the super inflated crazy prices that you have to pay here cause it's inside the outlet. Even at the airport Pret doesn't get so expensive. Plenty of seating, even if super busy in front, move to the back and you will usually find a table.

Crowded but fast. You always find a place to sit even though it is busy. They take subscriptions, too, not like in the services stations.

So expensive -£3.20 for a bottle of Coke, £3.00 for a small bottle of water.

Not sure how they get away with charging £3.60 for a cookie that is £2-2.50 in every other pret. Very expensive

An absolute rip off. £27 for 2 sandwiches, 2 packets of crisps and 2 drinks. We couldn't believe our ears when the member of staff told us the bill and even asked her to check it. Service was also slow and despite sitting round the corner away from doors it was freezing and obviously had no heating on. Sorry pret but used to love going for lunch but will never be returning to your stores again!!!

Pret charges 70p for fresh cream with my Americano. I would suggest they charge everything. Why not ?

Limited seating but the food is fresh and the soup is amazing

Consistent, reliable quality is what you get at Pret. Not cheap for a sarnie shop, but you can guarantee what you get is the same every time.

Avoid!! Expensive machine made coffee, which tastes dreadful, and they charge a ridiculous amount for it too. I was intending to buy a salad but at £9 for mostly leaves, I thought better of it. Pret was always a bit more expensive there but they’ve inflated the prices so much now. I won't be getting lunch from there again.

Tables dirty despite it being very quiet on a Monday morning, didn’t see a single staff member cleaning. Considering a member of my party is coeliac the amount of crumbs and general grime on tables is not just disgusting but unsafe. But the prices really take the biscuit - 4 drinks for £17!!! Having visited this pret multiple times over the years the increase in prices compared to the abysmal service and unclean restaurant is a complete joke. If you’re in Bicester Village - visit the Farmshop instead!

Good Service supported by a lovely atmosphere. However, having eaten & drank at this establishment for sometime, it's a little unfortunate on this occasion that the drinks has seriously fell well below Pret Manager Standards. The Hot Chocolate was just absolute appalling with little taste of chocolate and more so watered down milk !!

Visited yesterday and it was busy - as expected. Queues were long but thankfully the service counters on the side were open, so was served swiftly. The place is far too expensive when all you're buying are 2 bog standard sandwiches, a packet of crisps and a drink. £16 to eat somewhere inside. Which was almost outside, right near the doors. Not the best part of visiting Bicester Village.

Actually Had a Lovely Coffee here today, place was packed to the rafters but managed to find table for me outside, loved the over head heating with the push of a Button.

Considering how busy it is on a daily basis..its a great clean well staffed and good snacks place to go.. Highley recommended

The pret was extremely busy on a Saturday, it is big with lots of seating but there were no available seats, luckily someone just left as we were looking around so we managed to sit down. They have free drinking water available which was great.

Convenient and some hot food/drinks.

Good place for a quick bite but the high raise seating arrangement is a difficult for the kids as they tend to slide and end up getting hurt.

Long, slow moving queues. Very expensive & music always offensively loud, far too loud to be able to sit & have a chat over a coffee.

There were six of us including an elderly wheelchair user and we saw that there was no easy route through to an available table at the back because they had rammed in so many chairs and tables. Another wheelchair user already at a table moved aside for us to get through and as we were walking through a rude member of staff blocked our path with a small table and tray so she could clear a table. I said do you mind and she clearly ignored us so I moved the table myself and went back to the wheelchair. I then had to ask another person to move their chair so we could get through to our (dirty) table. The food is also extremely expensive- £8.65 to have in a chicken caesar baguette as well as other similarly priced sandwiches. As it is the only lunch time venue there Pret clearly thinks they have a monopoly and can charge whatever they want. Not wheelchair friendly, rude staff who do not care about wheelchairs, dirty tables and expensive food.

I have visited this Pret for 16 years and sadly was totally horrified to be charged £14,40 for a wrap and sandwich today. As a loyal customer I felt totally ripped off. Will be taking my custom elsewhere….

Its huge, clean and airy. Service is lightening quick and amazing coffee.

Cold. Loud music over the speakers. No trays to carry purchases. Eat in but only take away cups and only one size cup. 3 medium temp drinks and three pathetic sausage/eggs rolls for £30 I didn’t normally come to places like this but people do seem to like them but yeah not for me.oh and no toilets on the premises.. They can clear their own tables

Sandwiches, hot and cold drinks available. Be warned, there is often a long queue if u wish to buy hot drinks and any of their instore bakery/pastry

Had a wonderful time at the Pret branch at Bicester village today,4th October 23. The vegetarian spread was amazingly flavourful and value for money. The excellent coffee and delicious croissant was quite the cherry on the cake! Many thanks to Rui for the super warm and helpful service - he really went out of his way to make one feel special. Cheers to the entire team ! 🫶

Things have gone down hill for Pret, this used to be our go to stop when on days out. However recently the prices have become unreasonable for what you actually get and the staff have zero customer service training. On the plus side we've now found many lovely independent cafes to visit.

I wouldn't even give that coffee to my worst enemy. Tasted like diluted lidl own brand coffee that's been kept out in the elements for centuries and then thrown in some sewage for good measure then plopped into a container supposedly for human consumption no idea how it got passed those 5 year olds they probably hire as quality controllers

£7.30 for a cheese baguette basically tells you all you need to know. £2 for a bag of crisp. Not much in the grand scheme when spending a lot on clothes. That does not make it right. Large seating areas with quick service

Charge £20 for 2 sandwiches and 2 cold drinks then make you clean your own tables! It's dirty. Dirty tables. Dirty floors. Long queues. Pret can afford cleaners, especially in Bicester village. Not good enough!

It's a busy location , but no excuse for clearing tables

What a place to relax and enjoy your meal. I tried super fruit salad and hummus it was really awesome. Bravo.

After my last review of this Pret I decided to return with my family for lunch. Unfortunately the same service level is offered, useless. The staff have no interest in what you say and when the order is wrong you have to go back, they pour the drinks away and make new ones, bad for profits I am sure. Next time we go to Bicester Village I will avoid this place and cannot be the only dissatisfied customer reading other reviews. Come on Pret get this sorted out!

Sadly, everything they sell here seems to be at super inflated prices. I've been in Central London branches where you'd expect that and had the same items for less than this branch! Just another example of how Bicester Village takes the piss out of Bicester people and not just its gullible customers. (Oh, and don't get me started on the number of people who go there to conduct job interviews!)

Lines go where they like and then you end up with 2 or 3 with 1 sever at the end. Not very well managed or manned considering it is the only seated coffee shop at the village. Loads of seating to be fair Obviously the price is ridiculous but only like every coffee shop chain around

Stopped for a quick refresh whilst shopping at Bicester Village. Great range of light bite foods and drinks. Reasonable queue time and pricing. Staff were really helpful despite how busy it was. Outdoor seating, plus in store and extended seating area too. A welcome rest for our family.

Everyone working as fast as they can. For a big restaurant with a lot of seats it was full but still clean. Lots of staff and also extra tools for a quick checkout

Love the pret's pickle veg sandwich. This branch gets really crowded and you might not get a table but given that it's in a shopping centre, it is fine.. the sandwich was delicious as usual..

Too crowded. Like whole shopping crowd is there... otherwise like everywhere else. Seating capacity is good

The queueing setup in here is a mess. You are made to queue for an individual til, so you're entirely at the mercy of what the people infront of you for that til order. You could be in and out in seconds, or stuck there for 10-15 minutes. It makes for a stressful atmosphere.

I love eating in Pret and their coffee is delicious! Lovely friendly cashier too. I also indulged in a cookie and that was gorgeous !

My overall marks for this place is one star. Service was quick so 3. Atmosphere I gave one because you don't really take any notice of that. But this is my main reason for overall one star. The prices are outrageous. £8 for a hot Mac cheese. Nope I put it back. You could eat the whole thing in one bite.I won't moan about the selection of things to eat, because there's lots of choices. We paid£ 17+ change for 2 sandwich, packet of crisps, the smallest flat white coffee, the reason for the smallest, they couldn't have given you a smaller cup if they tried, and a bottle of water. Now I know where McDonald's is in Bicester, next time I'll go and get my refreshments and go back to finish my shopping.

I waited in a queue for more than 10 minutes at the Pret A Manger outlet at the Bicester Village to have a chicken wrap heated up. Only to find that they Don't heat up food at this outlet. Thanks a lot Pret A Manger, I shan't be going to your outlets again.

The staff here are unbelievably rude. My wife, I and 2 children were shouted at by a member of staff for queuing where it said to which was apparently incorrect and we had to move. The next person that queued there was served straight away. I understand mistakes are made but to have a member of staff raise their voice to you and humiliate you in front of the whole place is not acceptable. I will never visit another ‘pret’ again ever.
