Pret A Manger in Manchester

It's really frustrating when I pay money for the food to get 1 Napkin or NONE and be in the creepy situation to ask for more and to be given one by one.....I know it's a thing from management,wich is definitely wrong and nor appropriate......beg for a napkin when I spend my money in there....a big No to that.

Clean facilities, friendly staff

Wow! Excellent customer service from Jessica when I was referred to her because of my gluten allergy. She was wonderful, kind and made sure I was happy with everything. You can tell she loves her job & meeting people. She was very well-informed and went above the norm. Should, also mention the salad & GF Popcorn bar were delicious. Lovely clean restaurant with great staff.

Great coffee and really friendly staff. Paco and the team do a great job and take the time to know their regulars while making great tasting and speedy coffee.

Love my morning hot chocolate with oat milk from pret every morning. Breakfast, lunch they got you covered. Amazing food and drinks. Would so recommend good quality at a reasonable price 👌

Decent sandwiches. Say you don't have a card, and you will get your food for free because they know their internal regulations cannot contradict the English Common Law which says in no uncertain terms that sterling is a legal tender in the UK. Their barista called me 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑒, hence the rating.

Unfortunately a few times I have been in to get myself a coffee before work. To the staff in Spinningfields I would much appreciate if you could make the coffees correctly as the past few times I have come in I end up off work as I get bad belly ache/diarrhoea from you. And to the terrible management in there please teach your staff on how to make a coffee. Really not happy I have tried to speak to the mangers and they are extremely rude.

Wasteful. No proper cups. All plastic. You'd expect Pret to at least attempt to be environmentally friendly. Trip advisor insists I write 100 characters.

i normally go to deansgate and arndale but theyre too bz to engage with people.but today i came here for a change due to baby getting bored. i had a very nice welcome:). manager (man with glasses)was so nice esp to my daughter(played peek a boo and gave cookies) i think i will come here everyday now;) amazing area, amazing people, great coffee as always

Passed by on closing time. Saw an employee TRASHING OUT 50ish packed and untouched sandwiches/meals from the fridges in a giant trashbag. The hypocrisie is over the roof, when their add tells you that meals you buy will help feeding the homelesses. Avoid this place, avoid this chain. I couldnt believe my eyes.

Staff and service is good however they need to catch up with the rest of Manchester and become dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Was very bluntly told to leave as I had my little dog sat on the floor next to me while having a coffee.

Super busy in the mornings, coffee subscription is killing them.

Ordered a breakfast tea, lets just say milks going cheap in Manchester because the tea was so milky, if you didn't recognise the floating tea bag you have tought it was a hot glass of milk.

Coffee was very nice which can be expected of a pret. Didn't have to queue for long but it did get more busy at 4:30ish when workers were leaving the offices in the hardman sq area. They have lots of coffee options including decaff and plant based milks. They also still had a decent selection of food in the afternoon when I went. Overall really nice, would go again.

This is my local Pret so I visit almost everyday. The staff are so kind and friendly, especially James, jack and the manager! They take the time to remember your drink ect, and every time coming in is a pleasure. Upstairs is great if you want some peace, and always nice and clean.

Super fast service, always a smile. Jimmy is worth his weight in gold to this company, top man.

Great friendly staff, especially James the Scottish man who brightens up the morning with his humour . Good offer with the subscription although it makes the wait time a little longer than it normally would be. Lovely drinks and food and nice clean place to sit, especially in comparison to other coffee places around.

Literally can't put a croissant into a bag... twice I've paid for a croissant I haven't received.. first world problems I am aware, but seriously, it aint hard. P.S Thanks for charging me though... great business.

The pre order service is brilliant

The beverages are spectacular but the lady serving my colleagues and I seemed to come off rather cold and displayed annoyance. For some reason she seems to be annoyed that we just get drinks, taking advantage of the special offer just like everyone else. Do better!

Soy un cliente frecuente de Pret a Manger y, debido a mi trabajo, visito a menudo esta tienda en particular. El personal es siempre agradable, amable y eficiente y la comida es siempre excelente. Sin embargo, hoy me molestó más la cantidad de clientes en la tienda, haciendo cola y parados en grupos hablando y probablemente la mitad de ellos no llevaban máscaras y, en mi opinión, no tenían ninguna razón médica para eximirlos. ¿No puede la tienda hacer algo al respecto? Otros minoristas lo hacen. No volveré a ningún Pret en un futuro próximo. Estoy en un grupo de riesgo para Covid y no quiero morir porque la clientela más joven es irresponsable y parece que el personal no puede, o no tiene apoyo, para tratar de asegurar una mejor práctica de Covid.

I am a frequent customer of Pret a Manger and due to my work I often visit this particular store. The staff are always pleasant friendly and efficient & great food. However today I was most disturbed by the number of customers in the shop, queuing and standing in groups talking and probably half of them were not wearing masks and to my opinion had no medical reason to exempt them. Cannot the store do something about this? Other retailers do. I shall not be returning to any Pret in the near future. I am in a risk group for Covid and I do not want to die because the younger clientele are irresponsible and it appears that the staff are unable, or unsupported, to try to ensure better Covid practice.

This sort of coffee will spoil the market - insipid, dull and lacklustre. Stick to the specialists who value coffee!

Went today and got food, always good, and I was served by the nicest guy. He helped me set up my contactless payments on my phone as I was having some trouble with it and was very patient and helpful! He deffo deserves a pay rise! Cheers mate! Really appreciate your help and kindness!

The wonderfully cheerful and entertaining staff in this branch of Pret really make mornings more bearable. I really hope that I see the same faces and hear the same welcoming banter next time I go in.

Don't come here often, but my mum does. Staff were so lovely and friendly and knew my mum which was really nice.

This place is the best. My coffee cup broke today and the bloke behind the counter. Not Jimmy but the other one gave me a free pret cup for my future coffees.

Not the best experience in this place. The manager was so rude, rushing us for ordering and not letting us think about what we wanted.

Amazing staff great food and drinks very clean

Went there for coffee with a friend during rush hour. Unfortunately, we didn't try anything else, but there seemed to be a lot of food on display. The place was packed and everyone was very loud. They had to be because no one could be heard over the din. The coffee was good, though, and the servers were pretty quick.

Went a lot here and sat outside with our dog nico.99 pence for a large coffee bargain and always busy .went the other day first time since there I think takeover.two people sat outside wife went inside for two coffees. Now almost a fiver and half the size cups .couldn't believe how it had gone up.sorry I don't liked to be ripped off so won't be going back.Costa is dear but at least you get decent size cup .

Excellent choice of breakfast and coffee

I LOVE Pret. It's my sandwich eatery and breakfast location of choice when travelling for business. But this one....well I had my first negative experience of Pret's customer service. I was accused not just once, but twice of informing the server that I was taking my food out rather than eating in, because I wanted to save money. What actually happened was that I told the server I was sitting in and she misheard me and when I clarified a couple of minutes later that I was staying to eat she was really really rude. And after I'd sat down her manager came over to tell me off as well. Also v rude and just really unprofessional. I mean how much was I saving, 20p or something? Grrrr!

This Pret offers the usual Pret food, drink, & service... Most use Pret for their coffee or tea selections but it offers so much more including soups, sandwiches, salads & wraps; all tasty and well priced. Service is friendly and welcoming, plus staff helpful with any customer queries This Pret is ideal place to get your coffee/tea on your way into work or pick up something for lunch... worth a visit...

I am a person who vows never to go into ' Pret A Manger ' or similar eateries usually as I have always thought the food looks very plastic and the prices too high. However , whilst in Manchester we decided to give it a try as our hunger was very persuasive. I have to say I was impressed with the food and the prices were quite acceptable. I have now revised my opinion of ' Pret A Manger ' and I will certainly consider eating in one of there outlets again.

Really friendly team working here and the food is good (the usual Pret food) but last week they've removed the paper napkins from the collect yourself cutlery/condiments area and reluctantly give you one in a bag, none unless you ask if you don't have a bag. Thats rubbish for a messy eater like me - come on Prets - the foods not cheap - don't be so mean!

It was busy. Seating was poor. We opted to sit in and drink. Our coffee as it was extremely cold outside. When we we served our coffee it was given to us in takeaway paper cups. The coffee tasted bitter and fairly acidic. I would not go to this pret a manger location again.

Pretty busy, a bit overpriced but as you would expect

Went in for a sandwich on rye bread as seen on web before going in. Couldn't find any and having waited in the lunchtime queue was advised by staff that they don't do any rye bread. When I pointed out that they advertised this on the web menu they shouted at me the same line so heads were turning in the shop and I felt ready for an argument but being in a hurry grabbed a butty off the shelf and went to another member of staff. The treatment I received was witnessed by a number of queueing customers - not a great advertisement and I will certainly not be using the brand again. The sandwich was inferior to Tesco's in quality, freshness and filling size.

Typical pret experience - good food and quick service. Toilets at this location were quite smelly though.

Acho um lugar muito muito bom! Vc encontra em muitas cidades, as comidas são frescas e de qualidade, tem muitas opções e dá pra ir sem medo porque os preços são ótimos também! Nunca encontrei sujo, portanto acho q a limpeza também é um ponto positivo, enfim, voltamos sempre!
