Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

Larger space and convenient location One female staff member in particular has a tendency to chat with colleagues than take orders and is rude Iced coffees tend to be overfilled and spill Got a bit tired of ordering here and cancelled by subscription

I regularly have been having lunch in this Pret for years and usually “eat in”. In the last month or so, I’ve been disappointed to see this branch go down. The tables are grubby and I can’t get a tray. There have been slow queues around the shop with no organised way to queue. The WiFi seems to have disappeared entirely. I like being able to pop in here, have a quiet moment while I eat my lunch but I’m starting to rethink my options. Has something changed at this branch or at Pret in general?

I was hoping to duck in here, grab food, and get on a work call. The food was high quality, but the WiFi was difficult. I couldn’t connect from the upstairs seating area. The tables were not wiped down, there was visible food on them. No power outlets. The music was loud so I couldn’t call in anyway. Normally prêt is a great place to get in a quick call. But not here. This location is better as a take away food place.

Fast service Delicious soup and coffee Very nice staff! They are happy to serve their clients, making the customer experience a very pleasant one. Zara was particular helpful! I will come back here

I alway order strong cappuccino, but half the time they deliver me just a regular cappuccino. Please give me what I pay for.

Standard Pret. Busy as it’s near the tube station.

Hidden branch almost. Your only likely to see or know about it if you work in the area. Small. I only got an americano which was fine. Limited seating and only a small selection of food and snacks. Staff were pleasant. Reasonably clean. There are loads of branches in the area that are bigger if you want more variety. Friday afternoon, so quiet. Likely to be busier earlier in the week when most people come to the office.

Fast, easy. Good customer service.

Would have given it five if were it not for no sockets to plug my laptop into. A huge oversight by the poor planners of the site. Staff were helpful and served me well.

Hot Food is available only after 745am. I believe store opens at 6am, and I arrived at 735am No hot brioche food (eg. sausage/ egg etc) and they said it’ll be another 5-10 minutes. This was on a Friday where you’d assume this type of food was very popular (Friday morning treat). Lost my custom as went elsewhere.

Everything pret do is delightful, an expanded hot food aisle would move it into top, top territory

Usually love Pret, staff are great, but this one really let me down. Rush hour morning coffee, busy as expected, patiently queued. I then asked for a coffee and was treated like a nuisance. The staff member sighed and turned to her manager who then told me they were very busy and there would be a wait (all of which was fine with me). I said so you're not serving coffee? (In this coffee shop?!) She said yes but we are busy! I was subsequently asked 3 more times what I wanted. It all seems very disorganised and the attitude that they'd rather I go away than serve me was an unpleasant shock.i wont be back to this branch.

Good food. Prets has excellent food standards - with a range of baguettes, salads, soups, hot and cold drinks, chocolate etc. Easy to pick up and go....but you can eat inside but attract higher/VAT price. Very good value for money. Downside - it gets crowded and sometimes there are no seats available - or someone is sitting with a coffee and laptop for ages - and you really do have to watch your timings on visits if you want to sit inside. Same with a lot of similar styled eateries. Prets wins because of their lovelt food.

Worst Pret in the City. I had to pour off my flat white because it was so watery and tasted like Americano. Italian baristas are so rude and has got a lot of attitude. They will struggle to survive with a lot of nice coffee places opening up nearby.

Good and fresh food, efficient and friendly staff

What's not to like? Love a pret. Fresh food and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, unless you're there every single day lol
