Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

I visited this Pret to grab a late lunch and a drink as I was shopping around Knightsbridge. The price was reasonable and I was delighted to find my favourite baguette still available at that time. The only thing was the delayed service in getting my drinks because the staff member making drinks was in conversation with a customer. I didn’t understand why the team member who took my order couldn’t also make drinks. Would’ve been nice to be asked if eating in / taking away so I can be sure I paid the right amount since a receipt wasn’t given afterwards. The store was clean and tidy and there’s a disabled toilet onsite for all to use which also includes a baby changing station.

I am a huge fan of Pret. Have been for years. Love that there's always one close to where you're going in London.

They respond very badly to people and I asked for a cold drink and they gave it to me like this

Service was slow even though there were barely any people, on top they didn't let me pay cash, yet the customers afterwards could pay cash, unacceptable.

Only suggestion is to open a bit later than 7pm. Always full when you close.

The service they gave me it was absolutely terrible, I was about to order a coffee. A coffee on the table was already there and then they said take that one is yours.! How rude is that.!!

Great place to get a sandwich and coffee. Of course it can be very busy around lunch time.

Few times a week Im being served by the tall blond- light brown hair colour guy, I have to say EXCEPTIONAL customer service! Very happy, keep going you are doing great! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

For the past 5 days I have had to remind the staff what my coffee order was as I watch customers who order way after me get theirs. If you like waiting 15 mins for your coffee every morning then do not hesitate to try this place out.

This is the worst Pret ever. The staff of absolutely ignorant and rude don’t know how someone can higher people like this in there. I had the code Pret even so they didn’t want to have me the coffee and this is happening for a while that why I decided to leave the review. What the point of having a code if you can’t use it.

I ate a falafel sandwich for 5 pounds and a salad for 5 pounds. The store has a very impressive spread, and it is okay. There are no halal options except for vegetarian options.

Amazing place, absolutely amazing staff, special Lidia. She takes care of everything in this store so that everything is beautiful and tasty. She is a very good manager.

Filter coffee way too strong, almost undrinkable. Girl behind the counter po faced.

Lidia is very fast and skillful and hard working girl she is able to work under pressure and have good customer skills she deserve best 👌

THE WORST PRET A MANGER I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE !!! The customer service is soooo bad! The employees are mean, they always run out of something, they don’t have cups, they don’t milks alternative, or even coffeee! How a coffee shop won’t have coffee!?!? It’s just so bad, the management of the shop seems to be very poor. They need change the whole staff, including management team and the employees from that place.

Lovely place to enjoy. Especially, barista Hamna made me feel welcoming. Treated me in a sweet manner. She served me and made me a fresh coffee within 7 seconds. Never knew that pret standards are so high.Wow ! Lovely experience there. Would recommend this to all. However, it is not good to see certain customers mistreating such a friendly and cooperative staff. The place is so welcoming and comfortable.

The service team really tries hard and is friendly, but somehow the agreements between them don't seem to work and overall they seem to be overwhelmed even with low customer volumes.

Almost everyday during my lunch and tea break I come for my drink, specially for hot chocolate, mocha, caramel latte or tea milk/ white tea. And now the MERRY BERRY HOT CHOCOLATE. Today 22/11/2023, Lidia serve me with this new beautiful nice drink with a very creamy topping which I love! Thank you so much LIDIA, for this today. 🥰 I felt Christmas in my heart every cup of MERRY BERRY HOT CHOCOLATE I got from here! ❤️❤️❤️🎄🎄🎄☕️☕️☕️🥰🥰🥰

Awful service here! Staff seem like they’re on another planet! Waited ages got the wrong drink and staff were rude!

Be aware of the Clara barrista!!! She charges the takeaway food as eating in!! Also, she is quite rude with an attitude!

I had an awful experience at this Pret A Manger location in London. The biggest issue was the chronic understaffing, which led to consistently poor service. The staff members were not only unfriendly but also engaged in unprofessional behavior, including swearing and yelling at each other in front of customers. This made for an uncomfortable atmosphere and a far-from-pleasant experience. In contrast, the neighboring Paul store provided much better service, which ultimately led us to enjoy our coffees and pastries there instead.

I’ll highly recommend pret for food, coffee dates and atmosphere. The lady with the scarf named Isse hibbaq is so rude, where she don’t know how to behave with the customers, although the good side was, particularly named susma was very welcoming as i felt very much respected. She apologised from her team as other lady with scarf was so rude and telling susma not to serve me. Though I’ll give your staff susma a 5 star.

This place has gone so far down hill in such a short space of time it’s shocking

I had a great time at Pert M today! The food and coffee were delicious, and the staff was very welcoming. Sushma in particular went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I would highly recommend Pert M to anyone looking for a great coffee nearby the area.

Had a guy in black shirt served today, about 1.7m tall. I stood there for 5mins, only me, and there was only one staff, so I understand that he was busy. However he did everything very slow and came to me in a rudest face. Put my drink on the bar like I owed him money or smth. Highly recommend the management team to retrain your staffs. Extremely disappointed.

Always understaffed , the service is always really bad. Worst Pret A Manger in London!! The steam members are so rude and not organised at all. I wanted to get my breakfast but when I entered inside the store, a lady who seemed to be the manager told me that the store wasn’t opened yet. I was very surprised because the door was opened. She asked me to leave the store…They never open the store on time!. THEY ARE ADVISING THE SEASONAL HOT DRINKS BUT THEY HAVEN’T GOT THEM IN STORE 🚨🚨 We went to get our coffees and pastries to the Paul store next door (Much better service).

They don’t know how to make matcha latte this the worst one had till now (just water colour )& even coffee’s don’t taste as good as other store’s don’t know why, they don’t know how to make it.

Very dirty place , service 1/5 , then I ordered mocha , they gave me latte or cappuccino , and when I asked them , they told me :" no sir , it's mocha , but maybe it's strong " , they are lying , it's not the first time , and they don't care about customers .

I found hair on my focaccia toasted And the reply was ok No sorry no competition no good service At she was the menager with guess black t shirt

Coffee was bad here and the barista needs some lessons in humanity and learning how to acknowledge people.

Worst cappucino that I had in London

Toilets were out of order. Annoying when you’re paying £6 for 1 cappuccino and a tea

Prices are going up and service is going down, terrible experience with the staff. Pret used to be a good place with much better service. Train your staff to not complain about their job to their customers. We all have jobs. I am not going to leave my money there anymore!

Suggestion to change hours of opening if the staff don’t bother to open store accordingly.

Deliberately serving pre-poured coffe, especially if Espresso (single or double) is ordered. Staff are not friendly and have an attitude towards certain customers...

Customer service was 10/10 from Cesar & Martha. They were extremely welcoming and generous

The worst Pret in London...they let me wait for 20 minutes for a late 2 weeks ago....today I ordered late and they gave me just coffee with milk....Strongly no not recommend..Every time a come here I get angry

Never waited that long for a double espresso before, which should take 30 seconds with the machines they have. Staff didn't even bother acknowlodging you, just staring into blank space as I walked up to the till. They made the drinks for the 15 customers that came behind me and just skipped mine. Shocking.

Never open on time! Or closed completely! There is always a "technical issue" it it seems due to staff shortages. Avoid if possible

Always understaffed , the service is really bad. Tables always dirty , the whole place has a big lack of cleanliness. They are all the time rushing and getting customer’s drinks wrong . What a shame ! Big shout out to Jimmy, he is trying to give to the customers the best experience even if he doesn’t get much help from anyone around.

Poor customer service and, when I asked what was vegan I got told “nothing”. Only redeeming feature is location.

This morning started for me as usual with oat milk cappuccino ☕️ at my Favorite Pret mmmmm But it started a bit unusual, why? Usually when I want to write ✍️ a review I pay an attention to the details, how staff and management are treating customers, how clean 🧼 is the venue, how tasty 👅 is the food if it is coffee shop, was the coffee ☕️ mashine washed, so the taste will be fresh and yummy 😋 Yes! Yes! Yes! 5 stars goes go Pret Bromton Road! And special star to Alex! Thank You for a nice start of my Monday! ☺️

Horrible experience today . The lady that was doing the coffee she got frustrated when one of her coworker mention which coffee she should do .She got frustrated apparently as she end up shouting that one of the coffee machine is broke and better to go to the next pret on the corner.( Obviously most of people left.I felt very bad for the lady that took my order ,as we all could see , she end up crying, trying to hide her tears and after she camed back with a lovely smile on her face. We all have hard days but a bit of better management should be applied there.Hope that something changes as I adore Pret and then team.

This Pret tends to get quite busy, and the service was non-existent. Rather than smiling or being friendly, I felt like a number. The food and coffee is consistently good, but the atmosphere is lacking.
