Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

Supposed to open at 6:30 but the last two days I’ve been waiting outside for half an hour until gone 7 before they opened

Fine, but quite poorly stocked for a Pret

Great place for a quick lunch. The service was swift but the seating was limited.

Quick service. Convenient location, next to City ThamesLink station north entrance.

Not a fan of chain coffee shops, but the service here has been above my expectations, kind and friendly staff and the breakfast oats are the one you need to try,

This store used to be great. Now its just a shambles. Every time I go there, no matter the time, the queue is out the door. I can't work out if its staff incompetence or they just don't care? Just went in to buy a sandwich....'oh, we haven't started making them yet'...are you kidding me? Its LUNCH TIME. Have complained to Head Office as this isn't typical of the Pret brand.

Good service, decent premises. The sandwich quality has certainly gone downhill - it's not the Pret I used to know. Ordered an (old favourite) Hoisin Duck wrap, the (New!) Chicken Katsu sandwich plus a bottle of still water. 1. The duck wrap was disappointing -- its meat no longer tastes anything like a duck, just some mushy, bland pulp with scarcely any fibre. Extra sweet hoisin goo compensates for the lack of duck; 2. The chicken katsu is a failed experiment -- fried chicken fillet is simply missing from the sandwich. One finds some odd onion flakes and a bunch of other ingredients that seemingly don't get on with each other and try to jump out of the sandwich as it's being eaten; 3. A bottle of water was beyond reproach and worth an extra star. I took two sandwiches (Caesar chicken/bacon & Posh cheddar/pickle) from (a very busy) Pret's LHR T2 shop onto a long-haul flight recently, and those tasted fine. A bit puzzling -- is it Pret's struggling to maintain quality in a new, low-volume City normal or is their sandwich quality suffering under the new ownership?

I love the freshness of all the food. Drinks are all delicious and more reasonably priced than other coffee shops. Staff are pretty much all helpful, friendly. It really makes a difference.

At 7.30 am the place is great. Polite staff and quick service, just what you need at that time of day.

Pret, good venues, staff & food too.

Excellent service by the team. However, the following points should be noted: 1. Their morning baguette sandwiches became substantially small in size - almost half of what it used to be a year ago eg. The price remained the same. 2. Very often I buy black Americano and pay £2.1 and get black filtered which costs £1. I am sure it is not intentional, but why not to pay a bit more attention? As I realise that in my office and I am unable to go back etc.* *This happens regularly now! Four times out of six purchases! Come on guys, stop doing it! Rather than that it is a good food station.

Decent service from the staff serving me however, there is someone behind the counter screaming coffee orders out extremely loud. Not needed at all Impossible to sit and enjoy my breakfast.

Pret as Pret is. But could have had the sandwiche selectio refilled given a bit more choice

Love Prett and the only shop that a regular customer gets a free tea and sandwich sometimes. Makes you feel special. Staff in all the pretty I visit are so friendly too.

Lovely branch. Service was great, good amount of seating spaces and a good clean bathroom. Staff had been very friendly and well organised during this mornings busy period.

Incredible fusion food. The daal arancini is particularly inventive as was the ceviche with bhel style addition to it. The cocktails are also really well made. We both drank the drinks associated with our star signs on our menu which is a fun way to pick your drink choices and try something different. It's very well priced for the type of place it is and the decor inside looks great and seats are comfy. The open kitchen is also a nice addition so ask for a seat near the kitchen or bar for people watching views.

Food and coffee was what you would expect. No toilet on site despite having seating which I have always been led to believe is a requirement. I am diabetic with IBS and would not have ordered from here if I had known. Was told to use the toilet in Starbucks!!! Finished coffee and food and left to find a toilet feeling uncomfortable and in pain. No more Pret for me.

Decent sized unit Theyvserve usual pret food which as I have said in other reviews seems to be getting more and more predictable these days Coffee was more froth than substance and expensive The place can get busy It's kept clean and tidy and has a toilet for customer use There is outside seating in additional to lots inside and also there is a small green outside where you can sit and eat - good and popular in the summer I prefer old fashioned sandwich bars lbut just my preference If you like pret food and drink then this is a good place to go to

What can I say? It's my local Pret! It's a daily routine to get a coffee here before work, and while it's fairly small it does have a decent amount of seating (albeit no customer toilets). Staff are friendly, service is quick, and I reckon Pret coffee is superior to the Starbucks next door.

Nice place to grab a quick coffee. They also have snacks and beverages. The price is ok. They have a good service and friendly staff. It's also a good option for organising meetings for an informal conversation.

Small Pret, often busy over lunch but has about 15 small tables, a bit close together and hard to find plugs but in non peak time perfect to sit down

Pret is what it is, slightly overpriced but certainly fresh food. Often it is labelled as "healthy" but keep an eye on what's in the packaged salads and soups etc.

Compared to "meal deals" from supermarkets around its very expensive. BUT you can eat in if you want & the food is varied & top quality. I wouldn't /couldn't have lunch here every day but an occasional "treat" is good.
