The friendliest service I’ve received in a cafe in a long time. Team is really helpful and polite. A nice and spacious shop with a good selection of food. Doesn’t feel overwhelming working on your laptop even during a lunch rush which is a big bonus.

Two things, if you are sick, coughing, sneezing and wiping your nose every two minutes then stay home and don’t go to work serving food. I am now sick, the server was wiping her nose and handling my food and coffee. Second thing, she was so unwell she forgot my coffee. I patiently waited while other people picked up the same coffee order as me. Moral of the story, if you are sick then stay home!

Awful customer service. I’m usually super tolerant with these things & can empathise having previously worked as a barista at a chain coffee shop myself. However, my experience today was disgusting. I ordered my drink - an iced skinny latte - and asked for the milk to be half the standard amount (as I wanted a small yet strong iced coffee, and given that I am mildly lactose intolerant, I didn’t want to consume that much milk). The lady behind the cashier seemed confused and it occurred to me that she wasn’t fluent in English which is completely fine. She didn’t tell me to scan my code / pay, as I think she was unsure of how to process my order, so another barista ended up stepping in. He’s tall & skinny in his 20s, wears glasses with shaved/ short hair. He asked me to repeat my order to him, so I once again asked for an iced skinny latte and requested that the milk be half the normal amount. I was incredibly confused when he replied rather sarcastically & snarkily, “yes ive only been a barista for 2minutes.” He then proceeded to rudely remark, “if you could please pay & complete the transaction, that would be greatly appreciated” in a sarcastic tone. I was incredibly confused as to where his hostility came from given that at no point had I insinuated that he was a poor barista, nor had I been told to pay by the previous cashier who didn’t even ring up my order (so I wasn’t informed that the reader was ready). It dawned on me that he might’ve thought that I was trying to tell him that skinny milk has less fat (?) or something, I’m not sure, but that was a completely misunderstanding as I had very clearly stated that I wanted an iced skinny latte with half the amount of milk. Regardless, the fact he was so rude & spiteful for no reason is abhorrent. And to top it all off, guess what I got served: a skinny iced latte, with the regular amount of milk. Simply poor.

This morning I wasn’t feeling well and ended up fainting in this Pret. I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to make an exception this one time to give a huge thank you to one of your baristas, Ola, who was amazingly sweet from the outset and went the extra mile to look after me, including bringing me food to bring my blood sugar up, opening the fire exit so I could cool down, sitting with me while I was on the floor and regularly checking on me afterwards. Thanks once again Ola for your concern and generosity - it makes a world of difference.

Called in before a meeting. Ordered a mocha. This was prepared, but on picking it up, I realised it was more the weight of a cappuccino. I had to ask twice for the drink to be weighed. Turns out it was the weight of a cappuccino. Poor. Also purchased a duck wrap.. however, it was more salad than duck. Member of staff cleaned a table and then left the empty coffee cups on the next table and didn't bother cleaning it even though it was right next to the other.

I love this Pret. Very spacious, and the staff are amazing! I have been visiting this Pret store almost daily for a month now, and the staff are always very friendly with a warm smile on their faces. Best wishes to you all.

Might be the best pret in London. Loads of seats, actually a plug points as well that makes a change. Got my normal cappachocho to start the day off with the subscription. Had 5 today. Get your moneys worth I say.

Been here many times. Prices have gone up quite a lot. Soup options seem to have become worse. Feel there are fewer dairy-free food options overall. Rarely have whi bread or flatbread to go with soup. Difficult to find a seat at lunchttime. Generally feeling a little bit more down about this branch than I was. I'll keep dropping by and suspect they'll improve.

I attempted to patiently clarify to the fair-haired young man what a double macchiato entailed, but after three attempts, he charged £5.90 for the coffee. He then strolled off with a pint of milk in hato tand, declaring, "I'm not the barista." The young girl behind the bar served the right drink eventually. Thanks!

Nice, spacious Pret in Holborn. Perfect for a coffee break during the week or a coffee stopover during the weekend. One of the perks of this Pret is that is nearby Lincoln Inn Park; so during a sunny day, Pret's coffee + sitting/walking around the park is a perfect combo for a good day.

I came to the store to pick up my lunch bag from *To Good To Go* but one lady from there say, I'm sorry we had an busy day and we hadn't expired food. I was feeling like homeless begging for food, went actually I paid for that, they treat me regularly really bad, you have all the time pasta, like if was the only food they prepare. That's not the first time happens, I can't believe how can be people so rude, another Prets have better attention and are really kind but this place is worse.

Coffee warm . When I asked to change it the manager said I should’ve asked for it extra hot. I went on to explain that I didn’t want my coffee extra hot just not warm. She then went on arguing with me about how all the coffees are made at 60* and would not take my word that it was no where near that temperature. Couldn’t help myself from asking if she’d heard the phrase ‘the customers always right’ !! Very poor customer relations, especially from a manager

I've been having lunch and studying here most days for the past few weeks and I love this Pret. The staff is always super nice, even when they're extra busy, always smiling. There is no loud music so it's perfect to study while having coffee/tea. I really recommend this place.

Reliably high quality food offering on High Holborn. Excellent, friendly service and decent value food and drink. The salmon salad was delicious. Coffee of a good standard and nice comfortable seating area to relax in.

The barista didn't know what a babyccino is... Tables were not particularly clean and it seemed to attract some unsavoury characters, sitting there. Other than that, it was fine but wouldn't rush back to this branch.

Avoid! Extremely disorganised, people that come after you are served before. I thought it was momentarily after the forced closure due to lockdown, but things instead of improving has just deteriorated!

Stopped for sandwich and hot drink. Delightful serving staff; friendly, funny and helpful. Clean tables to sit at but very busy at around midday so we were lucky to find one. Food tasty too.

The coffee is very good but the food is nothing special. Although my dog does seem to enjoy Pret's offerings.

The staff here are excellent. The main problem is with the customers. From about 11am it is overrun with very young feckless air headed students who stand round the service area getting in each other’s way, talking loudly so that the staff have to shout. They order stupidly complicated drinks and then don’t pay attention so they miss out when their drink is ready.

I went to use my Pret subscription, and staff member sneered whilst I was trying to find my QR code. Shocking service; noone seems to know what they are doing. The ambiance behind the counter is chaotic. Avoid going during rush hour - there are constant mistakes with coffee orders, and staff have to shout at customers asking what their drink was. Waiting time is between 5 - 10 minutes. I miss the Pret staff pre-pandemic times; they were notoriously efficient and accurate. Which ever Pret you go into now, their staff quality is not the same as before.

While all the baristas are all absolutely lovely, the service is sub-par. There is always at least 5 people waiting, sometimes up to 10, even outside rush times. Additionally, they are often out of oat milk, chai, matcha or even hot chocolate. Getting a drink here usually means at least a 10-minute & walking away with something they usually have available.

Bad management, mistake orders, poor quality sandwich, no labels code like decaf or oat milk and instead was normal milk going in the toilet with stomach pain and diarrhoea.. they killed a customer already with sesame because wasnt in the food label and they play again with fire, dont learn.. dont trust this branch!!!

Lovely team apart from Fabian who was rude to both me and one of his team during my visit. Reprimanded her for her friendliness. Shame it has soured my experience of pret and this store in particular

Too laud revolting annying music does not allow to spend whole time of my break. Is it made intentionally not to make customers stay for longer? I just drink my coffee and run away, can not spend longer than 15 minutes. Musical background should be neutral, without vocal and not that laud. This is according to the well know rules for all public places.

Poor show this morning Pret. One member of staff on tills and coffee machine despite the long queue. Tuna 'melt' not toasted, but tepid, floppy and soggy (and sadly not because of melted cheese). I hope it was at least fresh today or i may end up feeling the effects later on.

this is a large branch, has plenty space for workers who wish to sit there for a while to get some work done, there are plenty of quiet corners, big and small tables to suit. there is also a park right behind this place, if the weather permits, it's good to grab a bite and take it to the park, service is pleasant, this branch opens on weekends, and it's one of the few coffee shops that is open from an early hour &over weekends in that area, as most shops in that area shut or open quite late in the vicinity.. I'm a fan of pret and usually I'll find everything about each branch I come across, as I change my work place location every now and then so I have reviewed a few branches.

Sandwiches are awesome. Just too many times I have gone there and not a great choice for Vegiterian or muslims. Coffee was okay but I wouldn't say great.

Amazing atmosphere and it’s my first time in London, there’s a young handsome man called Anthony at the shop ?? He’s so sweet and offered to take my plate and was very charismatic with other customers including me :) Keep up the great work Pret !!

The service at the counter was horrible. I had to wait nearly 15mins for a small hot chocolate whilst customers (at least 5) behind me were all served efficiently and quickly. The person who took my order did not let me know why there was a delay, whilst I was awkwardly waiting. His colleague asked if I was waiting for anything and very kindly chased up my drink. When it was eventually ready the person who initially served me, left my drink on the counter without even acknowledging me or say 'sorry' for the delay. I will no longer be buying from this branch. Clearly there are some internal issues with the front of house staff that management needs to address.

The staff and service here are faultess but it's not a very comfortable place to sit as management insist on leaving the large doors open and it brings in the cold from outside. Apparently it's to show customers they're open but that's ridiculous - it's always busy and there's really no reason to leave it open and make paying customers cold.

Nice clean Pret. Staff were friendly and the food as expected with good service. The premises looked warm and inviting too. My favourite coffee house chain. UPDATE: what a difference a day makes! Went for lunch midweek with the family today and it was completely chaotic. Some mental customer talking to a staff member about how Brazilian women were good in bed then went on about free speech when told it was inappropriate in front of my 7 year old. One particular staff member was rude and gave us the wrong sandwich, then after retrieving the correct sandwich back from another customer suggested we have it. Dropped a star for that.

Honestly I do not understand how you would manage to quench your hunger with anything they have available there. Not filling at all, but of course majority of people go there for a beverage, not food.
