Worst service I've ever had from a very rude young man. Almost growled at for asking again for my receipt. Dirty look! Wow!

Tables are super dirty. The Matcha latte is the worst in the world. They miss the coffee orders too while not providing receipt. Don't come.

It’s busy but I was served quickly. That’s the good part. The bad , over £5 for the “triple” sausage bap. Look at the picture, that’s not worth it. The bap was soggy and sausage small.

I am a regular customer at Pret and always find their food is good quality. Normally the staff are really friendly and helpful but not so much at Edinburgh Departure lounge. Staff quite rude, very dirty tray handed to me when eating in. Floor covered in food and rubbish, dirty tables with no staff attempting to clean or tidy up. Not good!

How do you justify over £16 for two croissants, two hot drinks and a small bottle of water? And I didn’t even choose to eat in. It’s outrageous.

The manager tonight could have been a little kinder not closing the dinning room with so many flights delayed especially whilst the kitchen was still open :(

Was cheated out of £4.05 for a cappuccino which was bottom 20mm coffee then milk froth. When I asked for it to be a correct measure he threatened me with getting the police and missing my flight. Absolutely disgusting service and his attitude was horrendous. Italian sounding guy .Threatened to get the police because by asking him for his name he said im threatening him. Clearly didn't want his behaviour highlighting next to his name. May 28th 2024. Saggy fat dude with goatee beard, in his 40s and horrible breath and bad skin. No manners and aggressively rude. Update: emailed the URL below, ongoing with Phoebe. I've been requested to provide receipts and proof of payment, time etc - be aware, should you be foolish enough to buy anything keep your proof of receipt. Nobody should ever feel bullied into silence by aggressive rude behaviour, this is disgraceful and I have contacted CAB and also trading standards (TS for the short measure then full price) Revolting behaviour seems to be more common than first thought.

Eye wateringly expensive! The prices are a disgrace. Two small cups of tea and two small warm wraps £26.00!!!! Miserable staff and grubby tables. TOTAL RIP OFF

Exceptionally rude staff desperately in need of cultural awareness training.

£7 for a croissant and a small, lukewarm coffee. Even by airport standards, that’s a bit much.

The overpriced offerings at this establishment are simply egregious. Charging an exorbitant £2.05 for a single banana is nothing short of daylight robbery. One can easily procure an entire bunch at most grocery retailers for a mere fraction of that cost. This blatant exploitation of customers is undoubtedly a scam, and I would strongly advise against patronizing such an establishment. Steer well clear and save your hard-earned money for more reasonably priced venues.

£36 for 3 sandwiches and 3 simple desserts (!!!). And what's more, no napkins or spoons, practical for eating a dessert.

Usual industrial food, staff unhappy to work there, work like robots sorry for them. Recycling? WHATS RECYCLING? PAPER PLASTIC AND MÉTAL ALL TOGETHER

Quick breakfast early in the morning while waiting for the flight. Friendly staff and fast service.

Awful member of staff served us, said he should charge me another tea bag as he begrudgingly handed me an extra one, after we'd spent over £30! If you hate the public, don't work in the food industry. Cup of tea was a small bag suitable for nans tea cups not a big disposable cup. He was not British and I tried to explain most of us like a stronger tea, but he was not interested in learning this.

While airports are usually not beacons for cheap food, this Pret a Manger pricing was ridiculous. 8pounds for 2 coffees, and distinctly average coffees at best. I can only imagine that the coffee beans had been stored offsite in a cowshed, transported via cattle truck, thrown loosely onto the driveway at the airport, for the staff to scoop up and put through the coffee grinder.

Awful customer service from woman, didn’t catch her name as she tried to ignore me on calling her out on her rudeness. She has a very memorable haircut let’s say. Won’t let it affect our time in Edinburgh, but please be nicer to people :)

Appalling and rude service from one server. Shouted and screamed at us and other travellers as he claimed an area was fenced off. I pointed out that where we came in it wasn’t fenced off. He was so surly and self evidently didn’t care one bit about speaking to customers with utter disdain and eye watering rudeness. Other passengers left the area stating that they had never been spoken to in such a manner before, that he had to realise this was not acceptable. When I tried to explain to him that all he had to do was politely ask us to leave he was beyond rude in response. Wow is all I can say.

Appalling rudeness from Constance (incorrect spelling) at Pret, Edinburgh Airport - by Gate 6. An area was supposedly closed but was fully open on one side so my family and many other travellers were in there. He came out shouting at us to ‘get out,’ very aggressively bellowing that ‘this area is closed, why are you in here.’ Myself and other passengers explained there was no barrier when we came through and that there was no need for such aggression, he only needed to politely explain the situation. He simply screeched again, ‘just get out.’ As one of the other customers at another table stated ‘that is an atrocious way to speak to people, I’m truly shocked.’ He was not the only one, everyone was. He was also staggeringly surly when we were purchasing our drinks, self evidently he just couldn’t be bothered and made this abundantly clear. Pret I’ve always used you, questionable again, this was an awful experience especially in front of kids who were genuinely scared of his behaviour. I have photographic evidence of the opening myself and fellow passengers went through - they have since put the barrier across.

Airside. All good for drinks,etc. Quick service. Pricey, but that's airports for you. 5.00am, a mouse was running between the tables disturbing a few customers. Obviously needs addressing.

Always use Pret A Manger but there were no salads available and on asking 2 staff no info on when would be stocked. Went looking for alternatives only to find another Pret A Manger at the other end of the airport which had salads. Would of been helpful if this had been suggested by staff

Expensive. Chicken and avocado sandwich had dark brown avocado. They charge extra to use their seating but don’t prevent non-customers for sitting there. Embarrassing for Edinburgh Airport.

Higher prices if you decide to sit in their uncomfortable chairs and tables. Sandwich was the worst sandwich I have ever had, bring a toothpick, you will need it to get the "cheese" out of your teeth, cheap ham and awful cheese sandwich for 5,50£

Cashier was very nice lady with glasses amazing person waited for me to decide what to drink as it was 5 am, but as there was no names on the cups they were all the same and everywhere I grabbed a coffee from someone else and the person said it was his and gave it to him not a big deal. then one woman screamed at me saying you cannot grab what it’s not yours and asked me what coffee you requested and you take the one you requested period in front of everyone like if I have stolen something. I had no time to request for a manager for a rude employee for sure I could recognize her immediately but what a horrible experience for a first time. If she doesn’t like her job she can go somewhere else and stop destroying such a good food and coffee taste place. 28-12-2023 you can speak to the employees from this date. Thank you

The food was delicious as always and that's why I like to buy it here even though the prices are rather very high. The personnel could be a tad more friendly though, even if there are some unfriendly people around on the customer side. In addition to that I have had better coffee in the past and hope the barista just had a bad day and the next one will be better again.

Macaroni was pretty dead/hard round the edges in the box, had been in the warm area approx 30 mins, staff said can stay for 2 hours! (There is a clock face on the box marked with when it was put out) spoke to a staff member weren't to bothered, could have taken it back and got another poor one! Fruit had to much apple, had an avocado sandwich the week before that was poor too, was a pret fan before, sorry to say now off my list.

Outrageous: we where charged 1.6 extra for sitting to eat a salad! The counter staff asked if we wanted to stay or take away, without telling that if we were sitting it was more expensive. Of course, no service table.. just service fee..

The food and drinks are very good, unfortunately I had a bad experience on the first floor, before security, as there were several tables dirty, we even had to clean our own table. The tables stayed dirty for the 45 minutes we stayed there having our drinks.

We took two wraps - one warm with meatballs (which was stale) and one with duck which had half of the space in the box empty.

I came to the Edinburgh airport with my 11 month old and pregnant and wanted to get a cup of peppermint tea but my baby was acting very fussy so I was trying to calm her down and your staff member Anita Davidson or whoever is wearing Anita Davidson ID badge told me to get up and leave because the seat was reserved for only customers use she was so rude and trying to make a scene when i repeatedly told her we were customers and just waiting for baby to be calm I don’t know if it was because we were blacks she was very rude and made me upset when I was carrying a baby and pregnant what kind of rude people are you employing I expect better from pret I have been a customer for years and because she knew how bad she was acting she now was trying to find every little thing she could think of and said to take baby off the table it’s just so sad when I m pregnant I was nearly in tears. Love sandwiches here, salads are great too. Quite overcrowded and difficult to find seats. Not clean tables. They need more staff in peak hours, for the kind of business they should have more staff through the day to keep up. Not need to have tired, frustrated, overworker staff due greediness of fatcats CEOs.

They charged an extra 70c for dine in, despite paper bags for things. Get food takeaway and save the extra cost. Nice enough staff, typical airport setup, not the worst.

Poor service team more interested in chatting than working. Blaring music as they worked and just shouting at each other. Btw not sure “Ramz - Family Tree” counts as “absolute choonz”

The worst fast food coffee I've ever had. Coffee was just terrible and the man making it clearly had no training. Waiting times were rubbish and there was just a free for all to get the coffee. So just having to wrestle with the customers. It's the airport so everything was super overpriced. Soggy food and lack of choice. Binned it and went to Costa instead, at least they're consistent.

You can find a tap with drinking water here to refill your water bottle after you have gone through the airport security. It is located behind the cashier counter. This is the only place I found around the airport. Well done Pret!

Our favourite coffeeshop in Scotland. Has vegan sandwiches and coffee! Unfortunately no cacao powder on my soy milk cappuccino :( It did taste really good though :)
