Pret a Manger in Camden

This morning, I visited the café and would like to express my gratitude to the staff, particularly the gentleman at the counter. As someone who experiences health anxiety myself , I truly appreciated his helpfulness and understanding. His considerate and accommodating approach made my experience much more comfortable. Thank you for the excellent service.

Mid, definitely worst than other locations, the food and the drinks were fine but the staff isn’t friendly or welcoming at all.

I ordered a coffee and a pastry on Wednesday around 10am. I got the pastry but was waiting for my coffee. While I was waiting someone has arrived with a keep cup and ordered her coffee but she got her coffee before then me. Staff definitely has no idea about customer service. The bald guy prepared my drink was super moody, I said I was waiting longer than the other person and he said just a simple ok. No apologies or anything. I realised why I stopped going to Pret.

The barista from Nepal is really amazing at customer service and makes amazing coffee. he made us feel like home at this place. Ill always cone here

The male employee who works on closing acts disgusted with any customer he engages with and clearly hates working there.

I ordered a regular latte. Asked for extra single cup the barista has refused to give me a spare cup and told me they are loosing money he can’t provide me with a cup.

Typical Pret! Nothing to complain about. Definitely recommend Pret for good coffee and fresh sandwiches.

Here on a daily basis to grab my morning coffee. Staff are always friendly, particularly the little brunette lady who always has a smile on her face. The taller one who I think is the boss is nice too. Just a shame they have to put up with all the lowlifes who run in to steal food from the shelves.

Literally freezing cold. ‘Apparently’ they have to keep both doors open. I’ve never heard that anywhere, no other Pret has the doors open for no reason. It’s 3 degrees outside! Can someone tell these staff, to close those doors?? Absolutely ridiculous!

Really don’t understand the hype behind their hot drinks… subscribed due to an offer but let’s be honest the coffees and hot chocolates are the wateriest in town. It’s just water and sugar especially the chocolate chai which is 14% sugar crazy!!! I’m glad they are a busy chain due to their ethics but honestly speaking they provide the worst hot drinks in the market much worse than Caffè Nero.

Small branch which is much quieter than the main branch in Camden Town. I always get fast and pleasant service here.

The sandwiches are good, but the coffee can be hit and miss. Dined in, as I couldn’t be bothered to carry coffee and a baguette round Camden, but the horrendous ‘urban’ style music was off putting. Are they trying to drive customers away?! Apart from that, it’s ok.

Coffee is not to my taste, could not finish it; grab and go sammich was good.

i got iced chai latte, it was disgusting, it was more chai powder than milk. my throat almost burns. Never anymore

Honestly, THE MOST DISGUSTING CAPUCCINO I EVER HAD! Was in rush to the meeting, popped in, asked for oat milk capuccino, got some bitter, tangy hell knows what! Cup of less than half, smelled bad, not so sure was that oat milk at all. Writting this after one hour, I still have bitter taste on my tongue. AVOID.

Moved to Camden last August and have been coming here nearly everyday, with a subscription I purchased for the good value for money. Unfortunately at times this store has been extremely unorganised, waiting a long time for drinks etc. This morning I had a terrible experience after ordering my drink (skinny americano) and trying to use my subscription, as I do everyday. They told me I had to pay card as the QR code did not seem to be working - which I pay £25 a month for, and they see me use nearly everyday. Staff communicated this quite rudely, and found it rather funny that I was questioning it. Will not be returning even though it is my local store and will be cancelling the subscription after this, after what seems like a waste of money considering it doesn't seem to work.

Charging double price to make strong turmeric lattte which is against menu price and when I questioned it, I got rude reply from one of the team member (Mai). Here after i will cancel my subscription with pret

Appallingly disorganised, several people taking orders and only one confused and untrained person making coffees. If you like frothy cappuccino or hot coffee do not bother coming here. They appear to have no understanding of coffee or how to make it drinkable. Perhaps it is Prat’s fault for giving away all this free coffees and saveing on staff and their training. Sadly for me this one is my local , leaving me no other option but to choose costa instead.

Horrible staff. They ask me if I want a croissant on the cashier while I have sandwiche on my hand. They ask me if I need any cafe while I am about to buy a orange juice. Wasting my time and other in the queue. Staff very rude too.

Staff are friendly however Hot drinks only. Simply bypass this store if you preferred iced / frappe or smoothies in summer

I had a great experience here. Friendly staff and extensive vegan/vegetarian options to choose from. I probably wouldn't choose to try and eat in (even were COVID regulations permitting) considering the relatively small floorspace. For a quick sandwich 'n' dash, though, this place did just fine.

He usado este Pret durante los últimos 2 años desde que mi oficina se mudó al área y siempre he encontrado al personal cortés y amable. Lo que más me gusta son las caras familiares de los clientes que veo allí, se siente como una pequeña cafetería familiar en el corazón de Camden.

Por lo general, me gusta tomar algo en Pret, sin embargo, este solo tenía unos pocos sándwiches, las mesas estaban sucias y el inodoro estaba fuera de servicio. Realmente podrían trabajar para mejorar un poco.

Great place to getaway from the rain in Camden. I just wish they told me they are closing in 10 minutes when ai ordered the coffee. Anyway no reason to not give 5 stars.

Quality /price : a litttle high, but this london and these are Londonian prices. I loved the place however. It is very cool very classy and the staff are really nice. I qould have given 5 stars if the prices were a litttle bit cheaper than what they really are. Tip : buy your meals from the Tesconearby , and coffee from here. You will save a few pounds for that.

I find their sandwiches lacking of fillers in this pret. They hardly put any chicken in bang bang chicken wrap, it's like biting some salad wrap taste awful. Their yogurt pots all look different in size so you get less in some. Standards a bit low because they're too busy. Toilet is terrible unisex, hate sharing my toilet with women. Place is big and seats are comfortable.

There was a little domestic with one of the customers but the staff handled it well. The place is decent and has seating.

Rude staff and they completely lack of focus. Luckily there's another Pret within walking distance.

Personally the finest dining I've ever experienced. I've been to the ritz.. the grand.. Burger King. This by far offered the best quality, service and tasiest kebabs I've ever had. Top marks

A small Pret, but with a few seats if you want to eat in.

I’ve been going to this Pret to get my coffe every single day often twice a day, from the last year and a half, I like the coffe there and it’s a minute away from my studio. I know the face of all the people that work there and they’re all really sweet and professional. This morning I go to get my coffe for the second time today and a girl ( the tattoo one) have been so rude to me just because I didn’t know some company rule about what kind of cup I could bring to refill a discounted coffe..and when you’re having a bad day the last thing you want is for someone to be rude for no reason at all. I think it’s really sad that not even an affectionate customer deserve some respect in this already careless city....that’s how you loose a customer

As with all Prets, the service is always efficient and the food is consistently good.

Quite small, seating is limited. The staff are great, it's the customers who drag this place down. Avoid on a full moon.

You can't really review a particular Pret when the food in every Pret is usually done to the same precise way. However when there are two Pret's both two minutes away from Camden station then it's easy for a regular customer to spot the differences. This particular Pret is really well managed by a polite & friendly Gentleman, who runs this Pret to be super friendly, efficient & always clean. The best part of this Pret is the genuine rapport certain team members naturally build with customers; Gergo, Ivan, Abdul & Reni go beyond good customer service & just like my strong soya flat white; Reni's smile is a perfect way to start the day. Rather than any other Pret, they always ask me about my day, how I am, and I also get to hear brief highlights about their lives. If you're lucky, one of these guys will serve you.

Muy bueno y fresco todo y muchos productos naturales y mucho donde elegir. El personal (los días que estuvimos casi todo español) muy agradable y servicial. Son rápidos. Estupendo el café.

Comida natural y sana, de muy buena calidad. El coconut moka está tremendo.

It's nice to get a familiar face in the hustle and bustle of Camden and this little Pret is certainly that. Usual Pret fare but served by a staff who are helpful, friendly and cheery bringing some stability to the otherwise chaotic atmosphere that is this area of London. I had their Vegetable Tagine soup and a Tuna Nicoise Salad both of which were really tasty. Have to compliment Pret for their soups that are exceptional value for money.

I just hope I'm not being bias. What with all those shiny stars on top and that...

A very small shop with decently packed tables in a crowded part of town. Does the job if you'd like to grab a quick takeaway coffee or desperately wants to borrow the wifi or have a quick chat up with friends, though the experience isn't ideal if you put a bit more effort in searching for a better spot nearby.
