We tried this place while we were glamping , the food was horid , hot & sour soup - like chilli water with egg white and chicken - not 1 bit of veg. singapore noodles - that much lemon grass that it actually numbed the side of my mouth ( no joke ) and finaly - battered chicken balls - we had to get tissues to soak up the grease - boak :( , i honestly don't know how they get away with this. avoid at all costs.

We dined there last night; a fantastic meal,three courses, extra dishes, £50 for a huge feed. The quality was excellent, and the taste outstanding. This place is well worth a visit for a sit in meal.

Excellent food but delivery awful. I ordered at 6pm just two courses and then had to call at 730 with no delivery in sight. I understand that Saturday’s can be busy but even if they had told us we would have understood. Despite this the food was delicious and extremely hot.

Paid £20 for a munchie box. Tried to phone the restaurant to say I might be home late after the delivery time but they wouldn’t answer. I got home after the delivery time expecting my food that I had paid for to be left at the door but it was nowhere to be seen. Never received my food and they’ve taken my £20

Ordered takeaway on 26/8 delivery about 45 minutes to arrive tine 645 pm Food was only Luke warm and did not receive my can of Coca Cola I said to delivery man I have not received my can he said he would come right back . Phoned the restaurant to say that I did not receive my can of cola replied sorry about that get driver to come up still waiting? Absolute shocking service clearly not bothered about customers.

Worst Chinese take away have ever had .Was our 1st time ordering from them on Sunday. My beef with ginger and spring onions was tasteless,no ginger at all filled with beansprouts .the beef was the cheapest stewing beef half of each chunk was thick fat and a some were definitely verging on off .Rice was almost cold , my husbands was cold ,batter on chicken soggy .Most of our food went in the bin .Most takeaways give you free prawn crackers .not this one but would probably have been inedible. Wouldn't recommend ordering from here, we never will again Awful food

Wanted to sit in a Chinese restaurant as with three boys (6,9,10) Passed this place on way home. Went in and only had 3 courses for £15 menu. Portions tiny, badly needed seasoning, strangest sweet and sour sauce I’ve ever seen. Banana fritter - 1/4 banana!! Kids dessert was a fortune cookie. Don’t take cards. Cash only! £70 for 1 adult and three young kids. You get what you pay for but it really wasn’t worth that. Possibly one of the worst experiences of Chinese food I have ever had. Pleasant enough staff but not professional.

We ordered at 6 and at 9 we still didn't receive our food. We called the restaurant one hour ago and they said that the food was out with the driver. We are trying to contact them again, but they are not answering the phone. It's a shame as we paid 6£ only for the fee on Uber eats app.

Firstly, I ordered from the Prestonpans branch and the meal was over 2 hours late. When it arrived it was cold and the beef in black bean was full of peppers with little beef. The guy said he would give me a free dish next time I ordered. A few weeks later I ordered again and again it was over 2 hours late. Again, he apologised and said I would get two free meals. Tonight we ordered again as we do like their lemon chicken but noone answered the phone although it is open! I tried going on Just Eat to order but not online either.... I phoned the Musselburgh branch and the girl was lovely. She told us to keep trying but I was getting fed up so just decided to order from Musselburgh. I explained to her the situation and she was just so nice. I definitley wouldnt recommend ordering from Prestonpans! Rubbish service, poor quality food. If you want good service go to Musselburgh instead, i definitley wont be going to prestonpan again thats for sure!

I have had the most god awful delivery tonight and I hate to give bad reviews in these hard times but I also don't want people to get ill. I stopped using them 2 years ago as it went down hill but unfortunately for me no others where open. Phoned complained replaced and it was like night and day but still not the best. Prawn crackers brown, original dish floating in grease and lid very yellow like its been on top of dish for weeks

I just ordered a bottle of irn bru but had to get Cola instead witch was good because they phoned me and asked if colla was OK I said yes also I had ordered energy drinks and when I got my order I got free prawn crackers thank u guys that was really kind off use also I will be definitely ordering from here more often whether its juice or food

Last time. Arrived 2 hours late! The munchie box is a disgrace. Looks like they've went down the kids section at Iceland. Chicken dippers. Really. This time. Booked my food for half 7. Still not arrived yet

We ordered here on Christmas Eve it arrived 3 hours late. Tried again tonight now half an hour late and their excuse is that its pay day its busy. Never again service is pathetic

Ordered delivery tonight and after waiting an hour after delivery time rang and eventually got through after half an hour only to be told the food wasn’t even cooked!!!! Was told this was due to COVID. I can totally understand restrictions with social distances in kitchens however there is no excuse for customers having to wait 3.5 hours after ordering! To add injury to insult I rang 110 times with no reply!!!!!! ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

This is a nicely layed out lidl plenty of choice and what a view from the main entrance I could have quite happily sat in the car park just looking out to sea I will be going back next May when i take my next holiday at seton sands keep up the good work

Just got home with a £14.99 munchie box .....everything burnt to a crisp and inedible .....avoid like the plague

Chilli chips, rice and curry sauce are usually great from here, but our order last night was missing the chopsticks which we paid 99p for. Also, the advertised ‘ cans energy drinks ‘ were bottles of 30p juice from a corner shop. Food is great, but service and care? Not so much

Absoloutley shocking. Phoned for a delivery at 5 past 8 was told 40 minutes to an hour which was fine. Didn't come until 9:40 and it was freezing. Called back they said they would send it back out straight away.. 25 past 10 and still isn't here!! Sitting hungry after being at work all day with a freezing cold munch box in front of me waiting for it to be collected and a fresh one delivered. Won't order from here again and be spreading the word to others.

Ordered our takeaway went to collect it. The chinese restaurant was dirty cluttered lots of unwashed cups and glasses lying around. The staff two young girls didnt have a clue what they were doing and got orders mixed up. Would not return. More likely to report them to trading standards!

Never ordering again, used to be an amazing Chinese but has seriously gone down hill. After a two hour wait the Rice was mushy the chicken was soggy and the spicy chips where just normal chips with a jalapeño chopped up and put on top. What a waste of money so disappointed now in starving and no where else is open and the foods to bad to eat

Meal for two, sitting in. Starters superb, tasty and well presented. Service reasonably quick, we did not feel rushed. The main courses ...well, king prawn and black bean sauce: outstanding. Chicken curry: excellent. Very good value for money.

Prestonpans Dragon Way have a Special 3-Course Menu with a very good choice on each course. Starters include a choice of Soup, Chicken/Vegetable Spring rolls or BBQ Ribs. Main Courses include Chicken Curry, Sweet and Sour Chicken or Chicken Chow Mien - followed by the Sweet.

I was recommended to try this place a few months ago and phoned to order. I was told they didn’t deliver to me (Musselburgh). Having gone on Just Eat tonight low and behold I got the option of ordering from the Dragon Way in Prestonpans! Placed an order and Just Eat assured me that the restaurant had received my order and would confirm delivery time. I waited, and I waited. After at least a 30 minute wait I received a message to say my order was cancelled by the restaurant. Back to square one. I wouldn’t have minded so much if they had contacted me sooner but it’s ridiculous to wait so long when you’re hungry just to have it cancelled. Unfortunately I am not able to leave a review with Just Eat either. Very unprofessional and safe to say I will NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!!!

Went with family on the 30th December and nearly walked out due to the shambles of a restaurant from the waitress with the tracksuit on who slammed our cutlery in the middle of the table !!!!To the cafe type menu we were offered to start with I wanted to leave at that point but was persuaded to stay,we were eventually given a proper menu which on appearance looked like it had been left out in the rain!!To the tins of tenennts lager we were offered!!To the untidiness or the restaurant,pizza boxes everywhere !! To the pool table in the middle to the dart board on the wall with darts sticking out !!Food was ok -averageI have eaten here years ago and it has gone so far downhill it should close !Harsh report -you should have been there we WONT be back and it should close

Myself and family has just ordered from here. The food took 1.5 hours to come and when it came it was the worst Chinese I have tasted the chicken noodle soup well the 4 bits of chicken in it the liquid was at the bottom of the bag well most of it the chicken mushroom was the worst tasting thing I have ever eating the spring rolls were like eating rubber. My son and his girlfriend had chicken fried rice and they say it was the worst they have had. So I will never ever be back to there place for food again.

Stopped by this wee place over the weekend & stumbled across the £6.95 deal. Food was lovely & all made fresh. Especially liked the mushroom starter of salt & chilli mushrooms & the chicken was of excellent in the curry!!! 2 free bowls of prawn crackers. Definately doing all to keep customers happy & i will be returning soon. Can't beat value.

Another takeaway who fail to meet their collection times, is much prefer being told 1 hour, rather than 20 minutes, only to be told when I arrived they were just starting the order, the again 30 minutes later!

This place doesn't look like a classy joint from the outside or the inside but if you want a good quality cheap Chinese meal then it is great. £6.95 for three courses and BYOB with corkage of £1 is difficult to beat. Ignore the piles of pizza boxes and enjoy the food and service.

Has dinner here a couple of times, at in and once had a take out, dinner is okay, wouldn't be my first choice but for the prices, it's very good value for money.

The restaurant is an uninviting building and inside it is decorated in typical Chinese style although it is mainly white and very brightly lit which didn't feel comfortable. It also has a large screen TV dominating the bar area which was a little bit offputting.
