Rooms are good. Food on the other hand !! Is a much, MUCH different story !. The pub/restaurant (if that's what you can call it) is a shambles. We turned up, and tried going in at the opening time, 5pm, only to be told that it wasn't open as a member of staff had left the premises with the keys to open the front door. Nearly an hour later, the doors were opened, we were sat down, and find that the menu is so small, and basic, that you couldn't call it a bar menu, let alone a restaurant menu. The food is prepacked/precooked and reheated and plated up. So they can't cater to families who have autistic children or young fussy eaters. The lady who served us, bless her, tries her best to help out with options and to try and keep us in the restaurant, but ultimately, soon came to realise that their system is MAJORLY FLAWED

One of the best I've stayed in, Staff were fantastic, very quiet and secluded, Centurion Bar and restaurant has very limited choice, but again, Staff were superb.. Local amenities, not close so long walk or transport needed.. internet very poor, but nothing new for Premier Inn, they must change Provider. Staff made my weeks stay enjoyable.. 😊

We stayed here 3 days coming up for my Granny’s funeral, the staff especially Nicky was faultless, she was so friendly and welcoming and extremely supportive and professional, we would definitely stay again x

I’ve never in my life ordered a takeaway, and had to chuck the whole thing away after a few bites. It was the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Please don’t waste your money! £35 for reheated, stale & tastes less food. Hard, dry fish. Samosas were like mush, really soggy. The battered sausage was full of gristle and the batter around it was stale. I’m scared I’m going to get ill. Never again!

What a special place! I did a day trip to Portsmouth and ran into Nattie’s. The ambience is reminiscent of being seaside at Ocho Rios or Montego Bay in Jamaica. Inside was a sand filled area with tables. I sat in that spot - sand under my feet, reggae music as my soundtrack with the aroma of jerk spices in the air. Behind me was a bar and as I ate I relaxed to Bob, Peter, Steel Pulse and other reggae greats. When I walked out it was as if I had been to the beach and back. It truly is a special place.
