Great bar in Tamworth,beer prices good, lots of t.v.s went there for the match, good atmosphere, selection of cobs, crisps, scratchings available 😄😄😄

Awful place. I met friends here last night. No atmosphere at all. Incredibly rude staff, a polish (I think) short barmaid who shoved a sign in my face because I was standing near the bar hatch. She asked “can’t you read?” Which I replied I had read it and there was plenty of room to get passed if needed, which there wasn’t. Myself and the rest of our party left our drinks and walked out.

Friendly door staff but staff behind the bar are miserable and rude. Good selection of drinks. Tables are never clean when I visit.

Always closes early when its apparently open until 2:30 👍🤷‍♀️

I visited BonDs over the Christmas period, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, even whilst the pub was very busy. The atmosphere was the best out of everywhere we visited in Tamworth. A very unique must visit if you’re in the town looking for pocket friendly prices and a great cosy place to have a drink!

Stopped off for a few pints on a night out with a friend. Drinks are super cheap compared to other local establishments. The place is a little run down, but it actually adds to the atmosphere of the place. Facilities were clean and undamaged which is a massive bonus in Tamworth! Would highly recommend!

Didn't eat here so can't rate food. Went on a Saturday evening. A very young people atmosphere if your 18-25 your have a great time. Anything older and you will feel old.

Good selection of alcohol available always good place for cheap drinks and starts the night off with a chilled atmosphere. Decoration is a little mish mash but personally I think it makes the place dead cosy!

love Bonds. Have been going for years and always feel like you belong regardless of age. Decent price drinks, good music and the staff are always great.

rude staff, several of which are known to be predatory towards girls. unhygienic, toilets are always disgusting, and ive seen the owner going through the bins to find glasses to reuse. ok prices and music but besides that not really worth it

Decent bar, bit studenty - depends what sort of night your looking for and your own age but very friendly atmosphere!

Went to Bonds on Saturday had a brilliant night. The staff were brilliant & the DJs. Met some nice friendly people and had a good laugh with them. I shall be going back🍺😂🤓👍🏼

Dirty especially in these times they should be on top of it. I was so shocked no control after the door, I heard they had already had coronavirus cases there and closed. I'm not surprised. Honestly shocking.

On a positive note first the bar staff were nice and welcoming and Blue Moon was available on draft. But the gents and presumably the ladies toilets are appalling. How the council have not forced them to improve them is a mystery.

Needs a deep clean wipe your feet on way out lol

Went here for my son in laws stag night. It kicked off. Glasses & bottles flying everywhere. Security nowhere to be seen. The guvnor though. Wow. What a little firecracker. Steamed in like a fox on a rabbitt. Hats off to her. Respect xx

Saturday evening (6.30pm). One lady behind the bar. The pub has 7ish people sitting at tables and a couple drinking at the bar. The barwoman completely ignored me standing at the bar for 5 mins, whilst she washed a cup, then she walked past me to chat to the couple at the end of the bar. I left. They clearly don't value non regulars.

Was really quiet and bar staff seemed bored couldn't be bothered almost saving grace was I quite liked the music and was loud enough to hear it but could still have a convocation too

Went in there like 4 weeks back to have a drink with a mate. Went to the bar and thr person behide the bar was immediately started asking me and my mate for ID like every 1 minute till we showed them to the person behide the bar. We sat down very noisy place did feel abit uncomfortable. Went back to the bar to get two more drinks me and my friend we're laughing about something to are selves and a member of staff came up and send if your going really noisy lm gonna have to ask you to leave. That just put me right off when others are being much louder then what we were l didn't even finsh my drink me and my mate just left in shock and went next door in stand it was way better and chilled out. Not gonna go there again even told family and friends about my experience about bonds... never been so outta my comfort zone in my life.

Good atmosphere and cheap beer what more do you need

Bonds in Church Street Tamworth Staffordshire is a small family owned and run public house. During the day they serve coffee and tea in addition to the usual fare associated with a pub. No meals are served but a small selection of cobs are available from behind the bar. The staff on the whole are friendly and helpful especially Jo who is always pleasant and has a smile and warm welcome. The toilets do leave a lot to be desired and are tucked away in the rear of the building up a couple of flights of steps making the not accessible from the bar area for wheelchairs. They can however be accessed from the rear of the premises where there is a small outside patio area mostly used for smoking. It is on one level at the rear entry to the toilets though but the top bar is not manned during the day. Sport is also shown on a number of large screen TV'S and a pull down screen and projector. On an evening there's a variety of entertainment on offer and a really good selection of both draft and bottled beers and spirits at competitive prices. The Upstairs at the weekend takes on a more clubby feel. A more upto date, contemporary design and dj's gives it more lively and younger crowd. Large bar makes it easier to get served even when busy. All in all a place I would return to in the future but probably not one to take the wife for a quiet drink to.

Nice bar. Is a good size and is a long thin bar. Now has an upstairs almost club like bar also now open. Drink prices are rather good.
