Liberal House Tamworth in Tamworth

The heater is not working properly. The shower is broken. Lamp is not working. No wifi connection in my room. Poor infrastructure.

Not worth the price or the star rating. Room was small and could do with a lick of paint, plus there was a hole in the ceiling. Bathroom smelt of sewage but they had run out of air freshener. The noise from the pub was annoying and constant until well after 11pm also doors banging all the time. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although could get free hot drinks from the pub. Although on the ground floor, wheelchair access was awkward due to narrow passages and tight corners. Breakfast should be included, considering the price of the room. Would not come back again, nor would recommend to others. The staff were friendly and accommodating where they could.

A group of us stayed for a few days. Basic but very functional. Lovely people, lovely place.

The smell wafting through the rooms awful, a huge minus for the lack of internet in the room. Getting to the rooms is a real maze. Not recommended.

Oki for a quick lay over, didn't meet the staff as it was booked and sorted through a friend but they say it was easy and pleasant enough. Rooms are standered could do with a freshen up but for the price can't grumble

Got here late after long day at work , nice walm welcome , pub is lovely , would definitely stop again

Nice pub just a lack of staff behind the bar the young lady was serving and booking people in needed another person serving

It's ok but some of the clientele .....

Not even for one night ! •There was spiders, cobwebs and dust everywhere! Not even a clean room. •The radiator was hanging off of the wall! And we were scared to even put it on. •we asked multiple times for a hair dryer and there was none! There was no glasses for water. •The ceiling had a hole in it and the curtains didn’t even roll up or down. •the bathroom had no ventilation so there was mold forming in the bathroom. The toilet plunger was disgusting. •the pillows were like paper. The only good thing about this location is the service. Would I stay here again..no.

My room was dirty and the staff was angry at me when I went back to them for other room! No water heater/glass or cup in the room!Cleaning set weak.Window wiev was scrap!

We stayed 2 nights while visiting family & will stay again, Rooms were clean staff were friendly & breakfast was very nice 👌

Laura and the team at the liberal are so accommodating nothing is to much for them

Clean and tidy, and bed was comfortable. Need a lock on the door between bar and hotel though - didn't feel 100% safe
