Premier Inn Scarborough (South Bay) hotel in Scarborough

Stayed here for a 3 night break last weekend, stay here regularly, I must say the gentleman on reception at check in was a real gent, so helpful and friendly, he even sprayed our squeaky suitcase wheels for us. Jess the manager is so lovely, she can't do enough for you and always a pleasure to see again. Great stay, great staff and can't wait to return yet again

James was very helpful in finding us 2 rooms at around 2am in the morning when we was stranded and he was really helpful in finding us a solution to our phone dying to.

Birthday getaway in my favourite childhood holiday location. The hotel is in an ideal position, clean and well equipped, and the staff are amazing. Special thanks to Caitlin on reception, who arrived at our room unexpectedly with chocolates and a birthday card! ( No, I don’t know any of the staff!!)

I'm sorry to say I had a bad experience here. I was upset that I wasn't treated very well by some of the staff. I felt that I didn't get a very good deal and that it was overpriced.Thought breakfast should have been included for the price really.I felt like I was discriminated against because ive got a disability. Sadly it wasn't a very caring hotel.

Stayed here for New year. Booked accessible room which was perfect. However the walk to restaurant was 12 corridors definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. I came back from a breakaway more worn out than when I arrived. Staff very pleasant. I'd say definitely don't go if you have problems with mobility which is the only thing that let the place down.

Premier Inn fine, clean, with helpful staff. Location in the town centre, it's a bit of a dump. Suffering like every town centre.

Very nice premium room with a fridge, coffee machine and chocolates.

Really comfy beds great room layout plenty of room & storage . Air con heating system which is fab. We had a great night sleep no noise disturbance definitely would stay here again

Great, newly expanded, hotel in the heart of Scarborough. I have stayed well over 50 times. Very affordable, if booked in advance. Clean rooms, good amenities and friendly staff. Would also recommend booking a premier plus room for the extra luxury, if possible. Make sure that you book well in advance for the best prices as can be slightly more expensive if you book closer to the time or on the day. Would definitely recommend!

All good apart from no parking onsite so had to park away to unload baggage and got ticket by the time I checked in

Stayed from Wednesday to Friday for the Korn concert the hotel is central to everything, the room was very clean and very comfortable the staff were lovely and the food was brilliant I fell in love with Scarborough and highly recommend this premier Inn. Hopefully we will come back soon.Thank you for making our stay amazing

Great location, able to park in a multi storey car park opposite the premier inn. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again

Breakfast was out of food and no apology, we were told to stuff it. Restaurant staff no help. Reception staff much more helpful. Room wasn't cleaned very well, toilet marks.

Clean, warm and very comfortable beds as ever. Car park very close (£12 for 24 hours). Convenience store next door, McDonalds up the road a few doors and you wind through the building to access the Brewers Fayre where you get your breakfast or other meals and drink. Dropped one star just because the place is a bit of a maze - it's lots of buildings joined together by the feel of it.

Did like room because can't open window but shower was great because walk in shower better than most premier inn in been in great customer service

Overnight stay with my 8 year old son. Clean and tidy interior/exterior. Room decor was fairly modern and fresh. Good night sleep on a comfortable bed. No exterior noise. Decent breakfast which was good value. Good location, parked across the road at a multi storey. £12 for 24 hours

We had 2 wonderful nights here.

Stayed in their new rooms on the top floor ,slightly more expensive but worth it as nice & quiet . Good check-in & friendly staff ,no onsite parking, but we found a open air car park a five minute walk away called the Somerset car park as the one over the road from the hotel was full . We paid £8.30 for 24 hours, i thought, very reasonable . We didn't eat here, so I can't comment. Rooms nice & clean ,only gripe was the towels for one person in the room & had to go down to reception which for paying extra you'd have thought this wouldn't happen ,the staff at reception sorted out handed me extra . Hence, the 4 stars

Nice rooms , shame about the veiw, looking outside on to the rubbish bins that was full on Friday afternoon, and by Sunday they was bags off rubbish all over the floor , not a very nice thing to see , but the hotel was clean and tidy
