Massive shout out to Sue and Karen who were in charge of breakfast at Premier Inn Milton Keynes South West. That was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Food cooked to perfection(the fried mushrooms were amazing!) and the rest of rhe breakfast room was immaculate with breakfast bar really well stocked. I'll be back for the breakfast alone!!! The location is ideal and the rooms clean, comfortable and temperature control actually works (which isn't the case in a lot of hotels!!) Highly recommend this Prenier Inn.

Easy to find and close to the motorway. From the outside this is an attractive hotel location with the pub and adjacent fishing lake. There is lots of free parking mostly right next to the entrance too as it’s a horseshoe shaped car park. The Hungry Horse pub is literally opposite so convenient if that’s your thing. The surrounding area offers a lovely walk. Indeed I chose to walk to a really friendly nearby Fish n Chip shop for my dinner. To note it was cash only but a cash point (ATM) is next door. Breakfast is in a dedicated breakfast room inside the hotel. The selection wasn’t as good as some other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. I think this was partly due to the staff not replenishing items such as the fresh fruit and black pudding perhaps because the end of the sitting was relatively close (but no excuse).

Again obviously not british to have guests in climate controlled rooms. Due to climate changes was very warm fir end of August. The room had a pedestal fan and a window that oped 2 inches. The so called comfortable bed had a winter weight duvet and room gauge said it was 26c. This is 2024 and no ac available.

Rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade or even a clean. Our room was so hot it had a standing fan. It worked but the dust in it dates back a few years I’m sure. It was filthy. There are holes in the wall that have been filled but not repainted. The smokers have a smoking point under the window near reception which for the above rooms is great as it’s so hot you have the window open. You are then taking in your 2nd hand smoke and vape juice. The adjoining green king pub is so dirty I could use the cobwebs as a trampoline. I think there are long reach hoovers and dusters available. The food was a sharer as we only wanted a snack. Now I know it’s not just here but a sharer indicated two people. So why 5 onion rings and 1 garlic bread? How to cause an argument 🫣also food slightly undercooked. Chicken sloppy and onion rings really soft.

Stayed this weekend to attend Reggaeland, it was very busy but only 1 man on reception which meant checking in being extremely long. The corridor to our room was like walking through a fire tunnel, then we got in our room which felt like being in a sauna with a winter coat on. No option to cool the room down, extremely uncomfortable!! everything else was fine.

Need a serious word with the cleaners... the dust on the fan must have been building up for years, repulsive! There was no bringing it back from that, even the broken bed side table didn't bother us after that dust...

Nice location, no bus stops nearby. Staff are pretty rubbish, they are understaffed. Rooms are ok, very basic, hairs in showers and cobwebs everywhere. Had a spider crawl on me in bed. Breakfast is poor but the food in the pub adjacent is good. Have been fined here for parking my also, they are very hot on it, even if you are not staying overnight or eating there, if you drive on their land to turn around ect they fine you. Taxi drivers know this and drop you elsewhere/nearby to avoid fines. The Wi-Fi and service in this area is shocking, you have to go outside to make texts or calls. Was also scammed in hotel, I tried to call to let staff know I wouldn’t be back to collect my bags in my room in time for checkout but after several attempts no answer. Was charged £133 for my bags being in my room for an extra 2 hours after they wouldn’t pick up the phone to have me explain my circumstance. Refused refund. Closer to a motel than hotel. Does the job for somewhere to stay tho.

Breakfast let this place down. The breakfast was ok, pretty much what I expected, which was fine HOWEVER it was the fact that the room isn't that big, there were a lot of people and I'd say half of them were coughing!!! Not easy to avoid, given the lack of space between tables, and as it is a buffet it is not ideal for protecting other guests! Breakfast staff were friendly. Parking was good and location very attractive.

Extremely helpful staff, they go above and beyond, made sure we were in the same room for convenience and front desk staff were very helpful and personable over several shift changes. Lorraine and Jade went beyond to help us enjoy our stay.

Having just arrived to our room to find the toilet seat broken, a bulb gone in the bathroom and no plug in the sink. The sink tap also has a lot of limescale build up. We are a family of 4 with 2 dogs. I would have thought we’d have been situated on the ground floor as we have dogs but we were on the second floor. It feels a though the dog friendly rooms are not so looked after. The location is amazing, just make sure you ask for a good room!!
