Premier Inn Portsmouth (Horndean) hotel in East Hampshire

Booked the wrong date and tried to get a refund as they wanted an extra £96 on top of the £50 I already paid online for a Wednesday night. Lady on phone was abrupt and couldn’t help as the computer sets prices. Don’t bother phoning premier inn other numbers as no one answers. Disgusting service from this company and will never use again. Hope you enjoy the £50 you’ve stolen. Update: cannot get a refund as it’s against their policy. So it’s my fault clearly that they have taken my £50. Silly me. Next time I will just go up to the desk and give them my money and not stay. Because I love giving my money away

We had an overnight stay here before heading to the Isle of Wight ferry terminal the following afternoon.Sophie on reception was really helpful and informative. The room was spotless with plenty of towels.Kettle & teas ,coffee and milk.The bed was really supportive and comfortable.For 50 pounds per night we thought this was great value.Just 11 miles from the WightLink ferry terminal.I would definitely recommend this place.

All photos show baths in rooms but this had a shower, I book hotels that have baths and not having one was a real let down. The room was clean and tidy like every other Premier Inn but this along with the tragic free WiFi which is chronically 'connected with no internet' basically forces you to have to pay for the 'ultimate WiFi'. Breakfast it worth it for convenience. All round it's good, but the niggles let it down.

Amazing & friendly staff. Today, the receptionist were so kind and lovely to go extra mile on calling few places to find out about my baggage that's been missing past few days. Million of thanks to her, because at least now we know where it is. Keep up team horndean for your wonderful and friendly service. ❤️

When we entered our room it smelt musty, but it cleared after a short while. Staff were very good.

Stayed here for valentines day 💕 Lovely treats in room Staff amazing. Room clean. Happy to return
