Premier Inn Plymouth East hotel in Plymouth

Staff are incredible with us every time we visit. We come regularly from Liverpool and they always look after us. Rooms are always spotless, convenient little bits you can pick up in reception in case you’ve forgotten yours I.e toiletries. Can’t recommend enough, only place I’ll stay down here

Very popular location being so close to major routes. Great welcome on arrival.

Pretty scruffy generally. Annoying to access if you're coming from outside of Plymouth e.g. A38 - drive for miles into the city before you can turn around to get onto the correct carriageway. Above all though, the food is absolutely lousy. Hot breakfast items dumped onto dishes under heat lamps and neglected so they're all shriveled up by the time you get to them. Service wasn't much better either. Seems to be the way of things with Premier Inns these days. Skip breakfast and head over the road to the Sainsbury's cafe instead.

We had room 32 and it had a really awful smell! Not sure if it was a drain problem or a damp problem and we did report but just got asked if we wanted to borrow the air freshener. The rooms could do with a real good upgrade. The safe seem friendly enough

Great position with easy access to the A38, and into Plymouth.

I think that these Premier Inn's trade well above their station. Just about ok for a bed and shower.

Wonderful stay and with free parking makes this the place to staff

Food disappointing steak was thin bland was more like a slice of meat ... lasagne was good taste but no layers of pasta and small portion ....apple crumble similar to muller corner ....crumble was a few crumbs sprinkled sparsely...was not worth the money.!....won't be back!

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly polite and helpful.

The room needs updating. I thought it was expensive for the standard of the room

Very dated building with old, miserable decor in my room. Shower has zero pressure, it's ridiculous. Noise from adjacent rooms and busy street. Let's hope breakfast is enjoyable, or I'll be asking for a refund! *Update* - breakfast is by Premier Inn, but in adjoining Beefeater. The place is so grimy and disgusting. Mediocre breakfast made worse by incompetent staff and filthy dining room. Avoid!

Perfectly clean, tidy, spacious room with a large bed and soft, warm bedding. I had a peaceful nights sleep and an excellent breakfast in the morning! Staff were also super friendly and helpful - the girl on the desk got me chamomile tea! Thank you ☺️
