As Premier Inn's go its pretty standard. Rooms are what you would expect however I'd suggest this particular hotel is in need of some attention. It's little things like not having plug sockets next to the bed, areas of mould in the bathroom, no purple light etc.. It's in an ok location as there is a bike mountain bike area not far, so if you're into that sort of thing, then great. The worst part is the hotel is situated next to a really busy road which is very noisy! Can't have the window open otherwise you just hear the traffic thundering past and to be honest its only slightly dulled down with the window shut. The restaurant is ok and the food was alright. Staff all seemed nice and friendly 👍🏻

We were warmly welcomed. We were issued with room 121 which I very tired. Mould in corner by the window. Window full of condensation and even with the window closed blows cold across the room. Had to have heating turned right up to compensate. Went for breakfast at table table. Its absolutely filthy. Dust, dirt and old food next to coffee machine. Meals were full of grease just not a little either. Just not to our liking but staff were lovely. Will not be stopping there again. Suppose its ok for an emergency one nighters.

Stayed here twice, the second stay purely because the location was good. My initial stay first floor room was tired, damp and had the most horrendous smell, every time I walked down the corridor I noticed it, I had to leave the window permanently open to reduce it- not good in late October, the building gutters were blocked at the rear causing water to cascade down the walls outside hence the damp, the trees need trimming and the leaves clearing to allow the place to dry out and the internet service/ phone signal is nonexistent. That said in fairness the second room was better (ground floor further from the gutters) but first impressions count for me and mine were not good, food was excellent in the restaurant but I would probably look for an alternative rather than stay here again it needs a huge amount of work to bring it back to standard. Whitbread need to realise that a budget hotel shouldn't mean substandard.

I haven't stayed here but I waited here for someone to go to an event. Looked clean and plenty of free car parking spaces available

Honestly the worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed in. A few of us staying in different rooms and all 3 rooms smelt strongly of mould and damp. We requested to be moved, 1/3 of us got a okay room with no damp but the others got a musky one. There were hairs under the sheets and rubbish still in the rooms under beds ect. Cold showers at 6pm. Banging from upstairs. Dont stay longer than 1 night.

Rooms stinks of mould, can visibly see black mould all around the window, in the corner of the room and all over the curtains, they’ve done nothing to combat this apart from open the window and stick a fan in, do not stay in this premier inn, it isnt safe to breathe in mould spores all night while you sleep nevermind if you have small children, completely unacceptable.

Opted for this over some cheaper options in the town thinking it would be better. Very dated, felt more like the nursing home it once was. The bed was very high, bath rather than walk in shower, only clean room or provide extra towels on request, aircon was a dusty fan, heater in corner. Staff were lovely, but needs a referb for these prices.

What a shock ! For our first night in Wales, we were shocked by the price of £119 for this modest, very poorly soundproofed room, whereas the day before we had paid £85 in a 5-star hotel in Bath. Frequent travelers and hotel regulars, this room was worth no more than £50. First experience with this hotel chain and especially the last!

Deb the waitress is awesome. The breakfast is outstanding. The evening meals have improved drastically and deserve tasting.

Our room is quite dated compared to other Premier Inns Ive stayed in. All the staff have been very helpful and attentive. Elizabeth in the restaurant was particularly helpful and polite.

Perfect spot to stop after riding at Bike Park Wales. They allow the bikes in the rooms so you get the peace of mind knowing your steed it secure!

Absolutely love this take away. I would recommend the chicken and veg soup , prawn toast and then the meal deal which is chip butty with pork & chicken slices topped with curry sauce. We travel over the valley to eat from here. Well worth it
