Although based in a service area with a fuel station, Macdonald's and M&S express I didn't find it to be noisy. There was plenty of free parking, you have to put your car details in a tablet to get the free parking for your stay. Upon arrival at reception there was someone checking in so I had to wait, not an issue, however the person checking people in seemed to have left their welcoming personality at home. Not a good first impression. When it was my turn, there was no welcoming smile just a "robot" taking details, confirming name and how long I was staying then getting you to write your nationality, car reg and a signature on what I think was something similar to a till receipt before passing you the key card to your room and telling you which way to go, "through the door and upstairs" in my case. Going through the said door and up the stairs, potential to be noisy when people have elephant feet, and through another door which takes you to the corridor of rooms. The door banged shut behind me, no slow closer on that then, another potentially noise issue for those unfortunate enough to have a room close by which was actually me! So I had the joy of listening to that banging closed every time someone went through it, no one's fault but the hotels, for not having a slow closer on it. The room was a regular Premier inn room, clean and tidy. I put the TV on in the evening and the top channel was "Babe station", this leaves me wondering what the hotel is actually used for apart from people travelling, not a nice thought, I then had to scroll through all the channels to find what I wanted to watch. Nothing is in numerical order as you would expect channels to be it seemed to start in the middle. I did however enjoy a lovely shower and a great night's sleep after everyone had stopped going through the door at the top of the stairs. As I was leaving the next morning the receptionist was a different person who had brought their welcoming personality to work with them, so it was different than when I arrived. I didn't use the restaurant next door so I can't comment on that. Would I stay there again, if it was the cheapest option in the area.

Stayed here for a family event this weekend. Was a wonderful experience, the staff were excellent. However, during the night I kept hearing someone shouting “SKINNER!”. This morning, as I was retrieving an extra sausage from the breakfast buffet hot counter, I glanced over to the back of the restaurant. Who did see? None other than Superintendent Chalmers from the Simpsons! I couldn’t believe it! Anyway, I wandered over and introduced myself. He really is a lovely chap outside of work, not that you’d think that watching the Simpsons! We had a chat about our visits to Market Harborough and he told me he loves the town. He said “ they must be putting something in the water here, because I keep coming back!” He also told me that while on holiday he’d been tying up some loose ends from a school inspection that he hadn’t quite finished off back home last week. Before he left he gave me his autograph and a big hug. What is it they say about never meeting your heroes? Nonsense!

Stayed here for two nights and it was kind of as anticipated, Bed was OK, taps in place and working, clean, staff good even though reduced in number and struggling. However, there were some niggles... doors slamming all through the night, people/family in the room above could be heard walking/stomping around the room, why can't they build these places properly anymore, oh yes 'Cheaply' is the watchword these days. Then the curtains did not open and close very well and why is there not safety grab handle in the bath/shower this is a pre-requisite in any guest accommodation with shower over bath situation. I guess this is pretty standard fair for a PI but it's not for me, as a light sleeper. Tip Don't get a room on the ground floor and avoid the ones facing the car park, as the local Gypsies sometimes use the bypass as a racetrack and the McDonalds as their meeting spot, until about 03:00 in the morning.

We stayed here for a week in January, our overall experience was good but there were a few things that let the hotel down. A lot of workmen stay here meaning there’s a lot of heavy stomping at 6/7am, and dried mud being trodden down the stairs. The room itself was clean, but it looked as if it used to be a room for families as it had a massive empty space between the double bed and window which felt weird. The side of the bath was also collapsing inwards and we found a curly hair in the bath. Our days were made better by the lovely breakfast and the charming service of Kerry every morning! Overall it was a good stay in a good location, just a few things could be improved to make it feel more cared for!

We’ve stayed here many times but the hotel has gone downhill. We booked many months ago, for a stay of 4 nights over Christmas. But when we arrived we were given a very small double room which I think must have bern a spare room, more suited to a single traveller. As we walked into the to the room we saw that the curtain was hanging off the curtain track. there were also cobwebs on the ceiling above the bed. We complained and the curtain was re-hung on the track, the following day, but now we couldn’t open the curtains at all. The car park rubbish strewn everywhere and bags of rubbish near the grit bin. The disabled toilet on the ground floor is really grubby. On the morning we left we waited to speak to the receptionist to check our bill but despite buzzing and waiting for ages, no one came. We left our name and number with the bar staff, for the receptionist to call us, but we didn’t get a call. We were told other customers had also been waiting to speak to the receptionist as well but no one had appeared so those customers left. One morning we paid the morning receptionist for the meal deal for that evening . However when we came to order a meal in the restaurant, we were told that our payment had not been allocated to our room. At first, the waitress tried to sort it out for us, but in the end we had to go to the evening receptionist ourselves to sort it out. She went through all the sales that day in order to find our payment, before we were allowed to have a meal in the restaurant - very embarrassing and not our fault and we had to stand around whilst she traveled through that days payments . The fault was down to the new computer system.

I booked a double room through a hotel app. On booking in the hotel tried to put me in a single bed twin room. I do not fit in a single bed. Once I complained about this, they managed to suddenly find a double room. Other than that, the rooms were a little dated with the light oak features from yesteryear. The HDMI did not work on the TV, which was an issue for my second screen for putting together presentations. The restaurant next door was a bonus. The steak was spot on. Charging stations over the road in McDonald's.

This is the friendliest Premier Inn I've ever stayed at! The receptionists, wait staff and cleaners were all absolutely delightful. Rooms were fine, breakfast was fine and hot. Its actually outside Market Harborough but there is a bus that goes to the centre.

After a bad experience due to the storms causing the doors to slam all night and noisy neighbours who thought it was okay to be a nuisance in the hallway at midnight. The beautiful Tia who was so welcoming from the start, had a gorgeous smile and went and spoke to her manager called Alecia who was also such a lovely lady, made sure our complaint was dealt with. To the management of Premier Inn, you have the most wonderful staff in Tia and she needs a promotion as it is hard to find staff like her. Thank you both for being so helpful

Was in room 124 - shower and bath and on first floor -not lift but there are rooms on the ground floor. Had a weekend here and walked from Foxton Locks and had a guided tour the next day. Had the breakfast meal deals and one meal on the Friday night - reception very good and provided me a list of taxis for the Monday morning so that I could get back to the train station. It has a car park and Langton Inn for meals

There the nothing major wrong with the place. Just lots of little issues and signs of under staffing or poor management. The hotel is tired and dates, but they keep it clean and things worked. Although, not being so would be questionable. The staff are pleasant enough, they just look stressed and overwhelmed really. We had a booking for 2x nights, on the second morning. The room keys stopped working at noon. The housekeeper let me in, and apparently this is a common problem. All of our parties rooms had this. So, we all had to go and 'recharge' our keys. Luckily we found this out before we went to the wedding and didn't come back late and have to all wait at midnight for it to be done. We've had this before at premier inn elsewhere, so I feel it’s a company wide game/issue. The rooms are standard premier inn rooms, our window opened, which is good, but others complained about the noise. I imagine the rooms get very hot though, as they have no air conditioning. There was a pedestal fan on our room though. Parking is fine, and plentiful although someone has parked in the path to reception. Blocking access. We just squeezed around the car, but anybody with accessibility issues wouldn't be able to access. The path isn't clearly marked as one. But this example show's how anybody using the disabled bays, wouldn't be able to get out of their car. We reported this to reception, but they shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do, which really just reflected how everything was The restaurant was quite a good metaphor of how poor it is. We had a meal and breakfast. Everything is table service, and really really slow. The evening meal was slow and we ate and drank a lot less because of it. Then at 9:45pm, they presented the bill and told us they were closing. It was a Friday night. Other groups took their drinks with them (encouraged by the staff). Headed for the all night garage to get more booze and then partied in their room. It didn’t affect us, but walking by it, it was loud. There was also a lot of weed being smoked outside, although, the offer to join them was by far the politest offer of drugs I’ve ever had. Again, didn’t bother me. But families may consider these two issues. We had breakfast in the morning at 10am for an 11am close. This was the only slot we could book although others said they walked down and got a table without issue. At 10am, it was basically empty but still took 10 mins before they seated us. They seated us, and walked away not explaining where the coffee was, the drinks etc. Then it was 10 mins more before they came to order. It took 15 more minutes for our food (my order was also wrong, I didn't bother saying anything). So, we started eating 35 mins after walking in. 10 mins later, at 10:45, were being told that they are packing up and rushed us out. For the continental part of the breakfast, there was a single choice of pastry, cereal and some very sad looking fruit. There were no plates either, only bowls. Likewise, there was initially no glasses for juice. There was no water either. We could have asked, but given the above, we didn't bother. There's a fast food outlet across the road, I'd probably just go there for breakfast next time As I say, nothing is a major red flag. Just so many little things that all add up. It really feels like they're understaffed and poorly managed. Would I stay there again? Probably not, I'd take my chances elsewhere

Just stayed in the Premier Inn Market Harborough. The rooms were lovely and clean, and as expected, the bed was really comfy & the breakfast was fantastic. All the staff were really friendly and nice, which is why I wanted to post a review. In particular, Bev on reception was amazing, an absolute credit to Premier Inn. We had a small issue when we arrived which she quickly sorted in a very professional manner.

What a lovely place. Very friendly staff and good pub grub. Excellent menu with lots to choose from. I had the braised beef and mushroom and my husband had chicken and rib combo. Both were really tasty. We each had a pudding and they were equally as good as the mains.

Wife & I decided to give the breakfast a try as we've always heard good things. That was far from our experience, booked for 10AM, upon arrival they seated us next to a large and loud table when there was plenty of space elsewhere that was quieter for the two of us. We did ask to be moved straight away but that was just common sense really. Onto the food; There wasn't much selection from the continental breakfast, the toaster barely worked and there were no plates, juices were practically empty and were not the best. After a period of waiting, the waitress came and took our cooked breakfast order, after 5 minutes it arrived which we thought was very fast. Food was luke warm if that and not the greatest. Appeared very short staffed considering and was not once approached during to ask how everything was. We soon ate what we could to atleast benefit from it and left, very disappointed in the offering and definitely won't be returning anytime soon, previous evening meal experiences have been good however.
