Dropped in for lunch great food and good special offers had fish n chips best I've had for a long while. Friendly staff aswell also made it very pleasant. Can get very busy.

Wonderful breakfast and friendly and helpful service from Kerry and Katrina. Made an outing with 4 kids for breakfast a smooth and fun experience.

Excellent staff from the top down nothing within reason is too much trouble excellent breakfast chefs food comes out as requested also lunch meals are well presented all at a very reasonable price ... Only one downside toaster not the best

I was on my way to Market Harborough when I realised we'd be tight on time for the restaurant. I telephoned, Leah , was fantastic, she advised me to call when near the chef would cook our meals. This was over and above what I was expecting, fantastic team, you must be so proud of this team

Wife & I decided to give the breakfast a try as we've always heard good things. That was far from our experience, booked for 10AM, upon arrival they seated us next to a large and loud table when there was plenty of space elsewhere that was quieter for the two of us. We did ask to be moved straight away but that was just common sense really. Onto the food; There wasn't much selection from the continental breakfast, the toaster barely worked and there were no plates, juices were practically empty and were not the best. After a period of waiting, the waitress came and took our cooked breakfast order, after 5 minutes it arrived which we thought was very fast. Food was luke warm if that and not the greatest. Appeared very short staffed considering and was not once approached during to ask how everything was. We soon ate what we could to atleast benefit from it and left, very disappointed in the offering and definitely won't be returning anytime soon, previous evening meal experiences have been good however.

Only given 1 star else i couldnt post. This place doesn't deserve any stars. Turned up just past 11 this morning. Place was open so went in and started to put our details in for the car park. When asking for a table for 2 we were told they had stopped serving breakfast and started lunch at 12. We said we only wanted drinks so we could get warm and was told they don't serve until 12. Utterly disappointed

Came for lunch yesterday with my family five of us. Greeted with a warm welcome and was looked after. Three of us had smothered chicken, another haddock and chips and pie and chips. All of the dishes were nice, my only complaint that I was really disappointed with was the menu says skin on chips with the chicken and chips with the others but they all came out with fries.

Enjoyed the meal. Had a big stack whilsy my sister had smothered chicken. Nice and hot.

We travelled 2 hours to stay here, and asked the receptionist at check in about having dinner at the restaurant and she said it was okay to just turn up. So at 6.30 we arrived at the restaurant to be greeted by a not so welcoming woman who basically said the restaurant was fully booked and said we would be lucky to get a table. But there was only 2 tables that had people at them at that point. Then out came the chicken tikka curry's. One dish had literally 4 tiny square pieces of chicken in. So we told the waitress that we would like some more chicken as that isn't a chicken curry just rice and sauce. She came back and said that because they come as a packet meal they couldn't offer another one! Which is strange and very bad. They should have offered a whole new one 🙄 Anyway we refused to pay for that one meal..The older man who took the money said it was a rarity for that to happen, to which my husband said it is also a rarity to visit here. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and grab a McDonald's opposite as atleast you know what your getting.

We ate here for three nights. The last two we were served by Leah, who was an absolute gem. She helped us with our loyalty card, thank you. Smothered Chicken is always a winner in any Table Table or Brewers Fayre. The steaks on our last night were very good. The meat had been trimmed and torched to death the way Samie loves it and a medium Rare for me me.

We tried the Lancton inn as it was on our way back from a morning out..we were greated by kind staff,service atmosphere,food and value all good...we had a lovely lunch.

Didn’t find it too bad at all and had a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. Found the current menu scaled back somewhat but still has a choice to suit most tastes and good value promotions making things worthwhile. The staff seemed helpful and welcoming with the service spot on - maybe could do with a decor change or freshen up. Plenty of parking around without limits and easy access.

I was there as part of a reunion and stayed for 3 nights and had the breakfast package and one evening meal - will reserve a table for bookings etc - breakfast was cooked fresh which was nice great staff

Lovely meal !! We throughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff were great in helping sort things for my son’s birthday.

Been here last week and this week. And sad to say there is more negative than positive about this pub. Here goes, The steaks and fish and chips are the only nicely cooked food on the menu. The service doesn’t seem very friendly and as if you should be grateful you are getting served. They also don’t check the food is ok. Only one evening in two weeks have they done that. Not good service at all. Food tonight sadly going to say was the worst katsu curry I’ve ever had. Tiny amount of sauce and by the time they bring out more it is all cold. And after all that still didn’t check it was ok. Apart from maybe 1 or 2 staff members. The rest just talk as if having to serve people is a massive inconvenience (very unapproachable. I work away every week and this has to be one of the worst I have had the pleasure (😂😂😂😂 pleasure) of eating in

The Langton Inn is definitely good value for money. Two lunchtime meals for £12. Food is quite good if you fancy somewhere cheap and cheerful. Staff are lovely.

Went in for breakfast with some friends, the food was delicious, and came out quickly. The waitress was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will be coming back! And would definitely recommend:))

Website states open till 1030 Sunday. Arrived last night 7pm to be told last orders for food 730 and bar closes 930. Rather a hurried evening before bed. In fairness staff were very pleasant but obviously working within the rules. Feel very misled

Been for lunch at the Langton Inn. Made very welcome and looked after so well by Katrina, and the steak cooked by Lewis was fantastic. Very enjoyable lunchtime. Thanks - we'll be coming back again for sure.

Ok, Average pub grub ok prices. Chips were not great, bog standard frozen chips. I Don't think the Haddock was battered in house, more like out of the freezer. Drinks were fine. staff were polite but slow service. Being at the back I thought they must have had a lot of customers, but going to leave there were only a handful of people sat down

We had a few meals here the first meal was nothing to write home about TBH I was rather disappointed however the other meals made up for it. The breakfast is amazing all you can eat just make sure you're clear on what you want.

Once again Great service and my food cooked just how I like it. From front off house. Kerry, katrina. All ways happy with a great welcome and fast service. And the chef Lewis. I asked for a blue rump steak and I got a Blue steak as it should be. Very very happy as you can see in my list picture. Thanks again. John..

Lovely food, great Cocktails, our waitress was absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend and we will all definitely be coming again.

Stayed numerous times on business for full weeks on end, staff always friendly & helpful, going above & beyond to look after me; often needing to eat late or mess booking times around & it’s never an issue. Kerry looked after me this morning & couldn’t do more to facilitate my long day. Thank you.

Hadn’t been here for a long time so decided to revisit. I wish I hadn’t. We weren’t very hungry so got something to share. The lady who served us seemed to have a problem with that and said “is that it?” And looked at us funny. The atmosphere is so dreary. Loads of dust everywhere. Didn’t get checked on and seemed to get ignored. No offer of a dessert menu when the table was cleared. Food was quite nice and that was the only positive.

Haven’t visited here in 12 months and when we arrived it looked almost derelict … broken blinds in the windows … outside was a lack of woodchip and exposed plastic …the bar was in darkness yet 2 tables in the restaurant had people eating … I waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to come to the front of house and serve me… lamp shades were wonky, weathered swollen wooden doors not opening and shutting correctly even to the point people came and tried to open them thinking they were locked and walked away, cob webs , sticky tables , the member of staff / manager made me feel like I was an inconvenience for being there … she looked very depressed within her role walking around tutting and huffing … horrible experience … we left our drinks and vacated.

The best breakfast in Market Harborough area 100% really enjoyed mine just order what you want 5☆☆☆☆☆

We came to the Langton Inn for a choir Christmas meal. There were around 25 of us and we preordered our meals. The food was really good and plenty of it, the ladies who served us were highly efficient and friendly and we had a really lovely evening. Everyone was catered for, no matter what tastes, and we all enjoyed ourselves. The ladies looking after us went out of their way to make us welcome and happy, and very efficiently too. Thank you.

Sunday Lunch was ok, saved me washing up

Good food, a little quiet unsurprisingly at 5.30 on a Tuesday! Katrina and Charlotte were superb hosts. A fantastic warm welcome coupled with attentive service, made my meal a very pleasant one, even dining alone away on business.

Food poor, vegetables both undercooked and grossly overcooked and presentation appalling. The first waitress was not interested but when waitress KATRINA came on shift, she fully understood our complaints and insisted our total meals and drinks were free despite my saying we wanted to pay for starters, desserts and drinks but she would not let us do that. Thankyou Katrina.

Sheridan was definitely exceptional the service was brilliant, fantastic meal food was faultless will definitely be returning

Fantastic place to go for lunch or dinner. Really generous portions, and plenty of great deals. From their burgers, fish & chips and puds to their Sunday roast dinners. The staff are great, and will always do their best to ensure you have a good experience.

We call there on our way back from Fleckney £11.99 for 2 mains Monday to Friday 12 to 6 good value and a full size meal the restaurant was full and saves me cooking dinner!

We arrived yesterday to stay in the hotel and we were starving. The staff were so friendly, we had some banter with them. I wanted the veggie lasagna but with chips instead of garlic bread and they did it no questions asked. I also had sticky toffee pudding and I'm mad on custard. I mentioned this to the waitress and the kitchen gave me a very generous helping 😋 My partner very much enjoyed his mixed grill and cheesecake too. All around a very good experience. Thank you.

One evening, there was an unpleasant incident in the restaurant and those involved had not been asked to leave. This left everyone else in the restaurant feeling really uncomfortable. Breakfast is very good if you are gluten free and vegetarian but the evening menu is very limited.

At least 3 evenings a week im eating at a Whitbread establishment due to work policy and rarely feel the need to review and review positively. Langton Inn table table exceeded my expectations this evening on so many levels. Charlotte the young server is an asset to the restaurant/bar... Talkative, knows her job WELL and the importance of hospitality shines through. The food, which at best I rate OK at a Whitbread, today was GOOD. Obviously shows that customer experience importance flows through to the kitchen. Clean, carm and relaxing eating/drinking environment with attentive staff. Paul and Katrina only added to my positive experience tonight and I am looking forward to staying in Market Harborough again!

Most Sundays we go for breakfast and the staff are exceptional! Kerry and Katrina are always welcoming and the rest are just so lovely and organised! The food is always lovely and they are so attentive to dietary needs. They are always so friendly to the customers and very good with children! I honestly could not recommend this place enough, great quality food for a great price! Looking forward to the next time we come!

Reserved a table on their website. Turned up with young children to an empty restaurant. They’d lost our booking. Refused to countenance any thought of accommodating us. We went elsewhere and probably won’t be back.

service fine few mistakes with the orders,roast pototoes covered with mashed sweede so soggy potatos,deserts very good ,other bug bear though is why do staff always say is every thing ok guys? our party of seven only contained three guys ,and four of the seven are in their 70's

Service was great the staff are very knowledgeable about allergies, went to great lengths to explain how the menu worked, along with the allergen guide, they even changed the cutlery from the cutlery set on the table when we arrived for my daughter who is gluten intolerant, we have never seen that done before, brilliant thanks. Extremely helpful in everything they did even knew that there may be a problem with one of the dishes one of my guests asked for, the waitress said she would check the availability with the kitchen once she had finished taking our order, she was back very quickly to apologize that the dish that was ordered wasn't available because they were still waiting on a delivery with some of the ingredients. Food was delicious and came out in a timely fashion, very nicely presented, piping hot, and was a very reasonable price. Well done to all the staff. We went to Foxton Locks got talking to some other people who were our for a walk a we recommended you to them to try for a meal and they said they would try yourselves on their way home.
