The Premier Plus Room at the hotel features polite and helpful reception staff, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The well-laid-out room offers a comfortable bed, a spacious toilet, and an excellent shower. However, a notable downside is that the window was bolted shut, which detracts from the overall experience.

Great place to stay and great staff... good food and great rooms

The room had bad ventilation, making it extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. No airflow at all, even with the AC on. It felt hot, humid, and suffocating, making it hard to sleep. Would not recommend unless they fix this issue.

Great location if you're visiting Old Trafford for any reason. Only negatives to speak of are that its very much a 'traveling trades' hotel stop, if you want a vague chance of parking midweek then arrive early otherwise the carpark is regularly full with work vans / cars.

I stayed in in Premier Plus Room. Hotel and room were clean, modern and comfortable. In close visible vacinity of old trafford with free parking on the road opposite the hotel (not mentioned anywhere) or £8 onsite parking (probably more secure if you have a van with tools etc). Will stay again.

Lovely place to stay to watch the Man United football . It’s always made extra special by Alex. He remembers us every time we come and stay and he is fantastic with my son’s allergies . He should be treasured as an employee. Thanks Alex

Excellent hotel for a visit to Old Trafford with kids. The staff are so friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The early check in is great if you've arrived with kids following an early flight. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Friendy staff at check in. Room had a very strong smell of sewage on arrive and through to the next morning! Arrived late so too late to do anything about this. Toilet seat broken that we had to fix back on to be able to use. Would not stay at this premier inn again unfortunately.

Perfect for an Old Trafford trip.

We stayed at Premier Inn, Old Trafford a few weeks ago. The staff were great, especially Janio, the hotel manager, who was incredibly welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He provided excellent customer service, which offered a personalised and memorable experience. A very conscientious manager, who identified our needs, and did everything he could to ensure our needs were met. Overall, everyone was very friendly and accommodating, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again.

rooms are clean, good location, friendly staff bur the bed barely fits two people, internet isn't that great, i was surprised as the lobby was only couple of chairs, not a good place to sit. all in all the hotel is clean and comfortable given the good price

Room cold even with a SMALL heater from hotel sill cold TV remote not working properly gave me another and that didn't work Wouldn't stay again out of Choice !!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Premier Inn Manchester Old Trafford Hotel for my son's graduation, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk Alex and Sydney being incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, and offered lovely tea and coffee!. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job of maintaining the room throughout my stay, ensuring everything was spotless and well-stocked. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast experience. The hotel's restaurant offered a delicious options. My little one was delighted with the freshly baked pastries, a vibrant assortment of fruits, and yogurts. I found the rates to be very reasonable for the level of comfort and quality provided. Overall, our stay at this hotel was truly memorable, thanks to Alex and Sydney for the outstanding service!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Went out of their way even on a very busy match weekend. We were pleased with our room for the price, breakfast was good, and location was perfect for us.

Brilliant service and communication from restaurant staff.

Ideal for old trafford football stadium or o2 victoria warehouse venue as both are only 3 minutes away.

Had an issue with the room I was provided, booked a Double room but they gave me a family room which wasn't great. Went to see reception and they changed us rooms straight away to a perfect one! Went to the Thyme restaurant for tea, it was lovely I had the burger and the wife had the lasagne which tasted like home made. Location is perfect and a very good price just outside the main center but only a 10 min tram ride which is right outside the hotel.

It has consistent Premier Inn standards and is cost-effective, including room rate and breakfast. The room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast food is rich. It's a five-minute walk to Otford Stadium and a two-minute walk to the tram stop out of the city center. It's extremely convenient for tourists like me who don't drive.

Right across the road from Old Trafford stadium. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, good breakfast for a little extra, bar open till 1am, checkout at 12pm and complimentary bag storage while at the match. Absolutely no complaints, everything was great, particularly the staff.

Great hotel was down with my son for his 16th birthday to go to the game room spotless the gentleman who was on the reception sorry for forgetting your name could not be anymore helpful was a credit to your hotel as were the rest off the staff would definitely stay there again

Great location. The room was not clean enough I was expecting. Family room next to bins. Good breakfast ( buffet)

Premier Inn hotels are always top of our list to stay when travelling around, this hotel was comfortable staff on reception, restaurant and cleaning were great, but there was a problem in the evening to dine. The first night we struggled to get served at the bar, and then were served by the Manager rather begrudgingly. We had pre-paid for the meal deal so didn’t want to then go out to eat, we got to the restaurant the second night and we hadn’t booked and were told the restaurant was full (plenty of empty tables) and Manager quite abruptly told us nothing available until 8:30, we accepted our fault as we hadn’t booked so asked if we could book for 8:30. Got down at 8:30 and fellow diner leaving told us to expect a very long wait, Manager told us there would be a delay and really made us feel as we were inconveniencing him by wanting food. There was obviously a problem which he was struggling to address, but honesty would have made the situation better. Again there was no one serving at the bar so we asked at reception who kindly sent Manager round to serve us, but he really wasn’t happy about it. Manager is very lucky to have such good staff around him but needs to address his own customer service skills

Meal in restaurant was amazing and service by Marie, Sydney and Chi was excellent.

Staff are awesome esp the receptionist with the blue hair, very funny and friendly, a credit to your company. Rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable ,my only complaint would be having to pay for parking

Perfect location for Salford Quays. Just a short walk to the centre for food and bars and the tram. Service was brilliant from check in to check out. We had breakfast here every morning (choice of Continental or full cooked) and even during one insanely busy period the staff were great, making sure anything empty was refilled promptly. Sara Melia was fantastic and has a great team behind her.

Great place to stay for the cricket and the football

Room was great, not much more expensive than other hotels when I was looking. Facilities were clean and worked well. The staff are lovely as well and helped me get drinks when the vending machine was broken, Alex and Sydney were super helpful. As I was stayingonger than a week they were helpful pointing me to places where I can get my clothes cleaned and various other things

Staff were quite rude took forever for someone to come to reception, we asked a question about the car park and were fobbed off with the guy saying he had a queue. We told him that if they were more attentive to reception, then he wouldn't have a queue. I was quite disgusted and this was witnessed by other guests

Marie and Sydney served our dinner tonight and it was fantastic. Service was quick and excellent. Highly recommend 5 star

Nice hotel, friendly staff and I enjoyed my overnight stay.

So handy for the tram and media city, Manchester United stadium. Only criticism was that our room wasn't ready, check in from 3pm and we got there at 4.30pm and we had to wait another 40 minutes, but to be fair they were short in housekeepers. Clean room, nice staff

After a poor Premier inn the other side of Manchester. Had an email to say 1 of the lifts was being refurbished. 😞 Was an inconvenience but did not detract from the holiday. Food great Service great Room a touch on the cool side Overall would come back to this one

Great place to stay when in Manchester

Staff were friendly and welcoming, let us leave our bags early on the day of arrival and leave them on the day of check in until we were ready to go home. There was a good choice for breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy. Located just a minute walk away from the tram stop for easy access to other locations

We stayed for one night, and had a lovely meal in the restaurant ! We were served by a lovely man called Alex! His service was amazing and my little 6 year old girl loved him and left a little message on tissue for him! And they went out their way and gave her an arts and crafts set! We would fully recommend this hotel! The room was clean! Service was amazing! And the prices of food was cheap and good quality! We will deffo be using again next time we come Manchester!

Well where do I start...... This premier Inn hotel has gone to the top of my ratings. Very very busy on Sunday after The United Game, queue was out the door for checking in... hotel is over the road From Old Trafford, literally. But security were polite, professional and organised, ensuring everyone was catered for and looked after. My room on Sunday night was disappointing has the HDMI connection to the TV was broken and I was told by staff on Duty nothing could be done and no other room was available. Fast forward to Monday and what a difference a day makes.... Different room booked Premier Plus room. Fantastic room I will definitely book these from now on. Spacious, comfortable, mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, working desk area, comfy chair and foot stool and more.... Sarah and the rest of the team were exceptional, going above and beyond Customer Services. Sarah was so helpful from the first minute I asked for an early check-in....( I had to check out and check in... different bookings different rooms) Nothing was too much for Sarah and the Team, a real credit to the Premier Inn Franchise. I mentioned I was up for the game as a birthday treat and was going on the Tour of Old Trafford. When I came back to check in I was greeted by the very Friendly room changing staff wishing me Happy Birthday, which was nice and when I entered the room there was a little gift, card, and balloons, which was very nice. Very unexpected but very Appreciated. This is the second time I have stopped here after a footy match( Manchester United V Manchester City women) and I received the same customer service from Sarah and The Team. The Breakfast Staff on both days were excellent. Sharn kept the tables spotless always smiling, helpful and polite to everyone, while the chef served some outstanding food and ensured everything was topped up. Thank you all for a very enjoyable stay. 👌💯❤️ A Top premier Inn service from a Top premier Team.

Decent standard of hotel with good buffet breakfast & great location for where I was working. Downside is having to pay £6 per night for parking. I also think if you book breakfast in advance & pay then there should be a discount compared to just turning up & paying there & then.
