Really comfortable room, staff very friendly and welcoming, had meal in the hotel in the evening very nice and good value, had the continental breakfast lots of choices Will definitely stay here again when visiting family

Rather confusing information given on website regarding shuttle service to hotel. We arrived in Manchester last night (15th March) after an 11 hour flight from Goa at 9pm. I phoned the reception as advised on website to book the shuttle from Terminal 2 and there was no answer on 3 occasions. Eventually we got a hackney cab from the rank outside Terminal 2. When we arrived at hotel I mentioned this to receptionist. She told me the information on website was confusing & shuttle finished at 3pm. Not 10pm as advertised. After breakfast I asked the receptionist if the shuttle had been booked for 12pm to catch our train. She advised me a taxi had been booked. The premier inn needs to update its website as some people may not be in the financial position to pay for a taxi to and from the hotel. The staff working in reception and food area were professional & friendly. The staff cleaning the rooms never ‘cracked a smile’. Having just came from India where staff cleaning the rooms & hotel are friendly, upbeat & helpful it is a sober reminder of parts of the hospitality industry in the UK.

Amazing best night sleep after traveling car and flights. Staff were fantastic plus the restaurant staff are fantastic. Laura who works house keeping and the restaurant she a real credit to Premier inn Manchester south get rapport with customers and staff, she really out going and looks after everyone with great care, my partner and me felt she looks after people needs in service well done x

Great place to lay your head pre or post flight. Really well priced. It's off the main drag so there is still a tiny bit of motorway to navigate, but still max 10mins away from the airport

Really lovely Premier plus room on the top floor. I could see the planes in the distance on the runway. Sound proofing very good. No bath, but that's getting typical now. Addition of a fridge and coffee machine was useful. The bed was so comfortable as we have come to expect. Staffing levels were inadequate at breakfast times, but the staff themselves were very good. Hot food was slow to be replenished and the toaster machine must have been cold as it didn't toast properly at 7am. I would definitely go again but not go for breakfast here, in my experience it wasn't good value and disjointed having to eat a small amount and then wait for more hot food. Parking gets very busy, £12 per day. 19 minute walk to the Runway Viewing Point and 9 mins to a nice pub - The Romper.

Great for short stays. Rooms clean, quiet and well maintained. Restaurant very busy in the evenings so book a table in advance. Great and welcoming staff, huge shout out to a brilliant receptionist, Tracey!

Great location near the airport

Comfortable room for a night before flight. Handy location. Easy heater/fan to adjust temp. Self service check in/out all basic requirements provided including kettle, towels, sockets etc.

Had the Chicken Makhani curry £14.29. Whilst tasty, this definitely resembled a microwaveable meal, the popperdom was soggy, the rice was from a packet…presumable from the square stuck together block & 5 bits of chicken. Informed head office…. Also had to return my pint of Carling as this was flat…apparently new bar staff! Overall room is comfy and clean, the receptionist is very helpful.

We stayed here for our plane-enthusiast son's birthday. We were given a very warm welcome by the lady on the front desk, a lady called Tracy. When our son told her it was his birthday, she went above and beyond to make sure that we got a room on a higher floor with a better view of the planes taking off from Manchester Airport. It made our son's weekend! Tracy is an asset to your team and we definitely recommend staying here.

As you expect from premier inn, comfortable beds clean and good value for money, had a very good breakfast, only the parking charge is a bit excessive.

Been coming to this premier for over a decade with various family members and friends pre holiday stop. Nice clean room . Breakfast good. Also evening drinks and meal good. The room wasn't ready upon arrival but was ready for 3.45 no problem .

Good value but A/C didn't work, and bar tables were horribly sticky.

It was a lovely hotel with delicious food and a wonderful room. The room came with working AC and heating which was easy to use. The room was also clean and comfortable with a large TV and a nice spacious bathroom. The restaurant had great service and nice food which was extra nice for hotel food. The location also being so close to the airport makes it a great spot to stay if you’re taking a flight the next day. Would come again

Clean and basic, which is all you can ask for the price. 5 mins from the airport but I don't recall hearing any planes, must be well sound proofed.

Room way to hot no air con Ask for another pillow. Don't expect one in a hurry. I had to go aak again no phone to call down to reception .food was a little pricey

Fabulous hotel with attentive staff, Checked in early hours of the morning and Marie on reception had checked us in efficiently whilst another team member organised us some iced water for the room and ensured the room set up was adequate to our needs. Jurgita the hotel manager was very pleasant in the morning and checked if we need anything else at breakfast before we departed. Thank you

The room was quite big for the price, the bathroom was very clean but the bed blanket was a bit dusty but overall good stay for the price!

Excellent location. Rooms up to the usual standard. Badly let down by the poor quality of the breakfast and the unfriendly uncooperative member of staff.

I find it hard to rate a Premier Inn higher than 4 stars because it's a Premier Inn 😁 But of all the large chains it's premier Inn I'd always prefer, this one is superb for airport parking, reasonably priced and convenient, I just wish the parking was part of the room charging so didn't have to deal with that on those hectic flight mornings

Used the Premier Inn at Manchester Airport , excellent location, friendly staff. No qualms whatsoever.

Breakfast was not good and worth for money and some of them not even hot, not enough staffs and waited 20 mins for check in.

Beautifully clean and tidy. £10 per night carparking is a bit steep when you are staying 9pm - 3am, but the hotel was excellent.

Ok for a single night before a flight, room was clean and a good size, slightly overpriced drinks and deeply uncomfortable chairs in the bar but basically ok

Miles away from the airport. Furthermore Dead flies in the lights and the bedding obviously wasn't changed and there were brown stains on it. There were bodily fluids on the chair all the staff were so rude. I don't know how they have 4 star advrage. The hotel smelt funny to. It was just an unpleasant experience and I was as glad as I will ever be to go to Manchester airport terminal

I stayed at Premier Inn in Manchester for one night before my flight and I was satisfied with the room. It was spacious and cozy, with a good air con system. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The only downside was the WiFi, which didn't work at all. I complained to the reception and they gave me access to the paid WiFi, but that didn't work either. I was glad I didn't have to pay for it, but it was still frustrating. My 11 year old son was especially disappointed, as he wanted to watch some videos online. The hotel is also not in the best spot, as there are no shops around. I needed to buy a toothbrush, but the reception didn't have any in stock. Other than that, the hotel was decent and convenient for my travel plans.

For a single night you can’t go wrong

First lady I come across on Saturday evening when checking in was grumpy. Shame really but when I returned after going out later at night two young ladies behind the desk were very nice and helpful. The room was great as most premier hotels are. I would always recommend these hotels over many others.

Big carpark but you have to pay £10 the next day for the privilege to park. Friendly greeting all info given. Two lifts but one was out of order Room ok size as was the shower room WiFi OK if you want faster then its £5 for 24hrs . Bed was comfortable but not the best I've had in a Premier Inn. I stayed on the night of storm isha so it was rather windy and I could actually feel the hotel moving whilst laying in bed !! Evening meal was OK nothing special basic and simple menu but good price Asked for mayo for me chips never got it ! Had to wait more then 5 mins to check out as receptionist need a cuppa! Had to wait because you have to get a barcode for the parking machine! Probably wouldn't stay in this one again the Premier Inn opposite looks better Probably give that a try next time!

Due to flight being diverted, had to spend the night here. It's a bit far from Manchester Airport, but catered very well for my needs. Good 'upgrade' deal for evening meal and breakfast Food good, breakfast reasonable, bed very comfortable. Overall, impressed.

What a gorgeous hotel we had the best time staff were amazing

Great location for one night prior to flight however it was grubby in main area, couch was absolutely filthy. Staff were hit and miss, some were great but one bar staff member sneezed into her hands and carried on serving drinks...I raised this with the bar manager. Will look to another hotel if needing to stay over at Airport again.

Great great location for airport stop over - 5 mins to terminals. Clean comfy room. Hotels absolutely bouncing with budding holiday makers but other than that all is good

Super impressed with the whole experience. Booked a Premier Plus room for the first time. Quiet room with the best bed we've ever slept in! Quality toiletries and teas/coffees.

Close to the airport,very clean room with a comfortable bed. In comparison to past stays in premier inn in which there was always someone to recommend the appropriate time to set off for the airport,always a great comfort and why I always choose your place to stay.This year the staff refused to suggest…on top of that the taxi is quite expensive considering it’s a 2minute trip.

Premier Inn South Manchester Airport I usually stay at Premier Inn North, but having heard that Inn South has newly renovated rooms I needed to check them out. After a short wait for check in I proceeded to my room, I was not disappointed, they are beautifully finished and decorated with brand new brushed metal switches and sockets featuring USB charge ports, the en-suite bathroom is amazing, with new white fluffy hotel quality towels. I switched on the TV but soon after the remote control stopped working, never mind I thought I can easily call downstairs for assistance, well I would have if there was an in room telephone or intercom but there wasn't either. So never mind I can call the landline number shown on my confirmation e-mail, this could have worked if anyone had picked up the call but alas nobody did. So it was off with the slippers and back on with the shoes to go downstairs and report the problem, after some time a member of the restaurant staff came up to my room and fixed the TV in seconds explaining that the new (unbranded) televisions have tendency to freeze up or hang, a good explanation but my show was already over. I had dinner in the motel and a full breakfast the following day, the restaurant staff were brilliant but I could tell they were rushed off their feet due to some staff members being unwell. Overall a positive experience, dunno if next time I am North or South.

One star off for non working parking machine causing a longer departure than we wanted and failure of staff avaliable to help. Waiting to see if we get a fine.

Great stop over for Manchester Airport but very expensive

First time in this premier inn as we have stayed in the opposite premier inn regularly. The premier plus room was a great surprise. A decent size, clean, newly refurbished room. The bathroom was excellent. Good quality toiletries, bath towels weren't great but adequate. The cleanliness was 10/10

We did an overnight stay prior to our flight home to France. It's not our first time, and as usual, it was excellent! Yan, the manager, was very welcoming, as was every staff member we interacted with. This is a perfect location close to the airport, I have no hesitation in recommending, and the restaurant for an early dinner was great!

The rooms are great, just what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and chatty. The location is perfect for the airport and they offer a shuttle service from 4am, it costs £5 per adult. The food was good and we had a great night's sleep.

Ideal location for Manchester T2, staff friendly but were run off their feet.

Just a quick stop over. Room was clean warm with a comfy bed.

Rooms are the usual from Premier Inn (comfortable and clean) but the hotel looks dreadful from outside.

It is not ideal for the airport as you need a taxis. Its a set price around £13.50 which for a short drive is ridiculous but you can't walk it. Rooms are standard Premier Inn with tea/coffee facilities so no problem there. Restaurant is ok but nothing gourmet going on here. Unless you get a taxi out then its a captive market.

Perfect for airport for early flights

Refurbished on the inside. Room smelt new. Very comfortable - don't judge the book y it's cover.

Our bedroom seemed a bit dated but understand that it's being refurbished. Reception, bar and restaurant were clean and comfortable. Food choice was OK for evening meal and breakfast. Nice place to stay before our flight the next day. Good location for the airport.

Try not to book a room near the front entrance. Lots of pick ups and drop offs. This has to be expected though and is a small 0rice to pat for making your journey so much easier.

Same as any other premier inn except staff at reception were non existant while using a meeting room 2 or 3 on duty but always in the back room.

Excellent location for airport, and access to motorway network. Lovely big room, extremely comfortable bed. No staff to serve breakfast so had to use sister hotel across the car parks.

Stayed here before journey to Portugal, lovely hotel very friendly and worth the money. Food was nice especially the pizzas. The rooms were very nice and posh and clean and a large shower in bathroom. Would definitely recommend for a stop over

Very nice I stayed in a premier plus room and you just can't beat premier Inn. They are certainly the best hotel chain in the UK by a mile.

Great location next to motorway and airport. Having a refurb when we got there, rooms have very recently been upgraded however and so our room was very good. Staff were helpful. Parking is £10 per night and you pay on check out, you can go in and out as much as you want in that time. :)

Does the job for early flights. Standard Premier Inn with restaurant and bar and standard rooms. Shuttle bus can be booked at reception for £5 each way or a taxi to any terminal is £12.

Great room which had just been modernised and good service. We even got a shuttle bus to the airport.

stay for one night parked for 2 weeks. Great price will be used it again . staff are so friendly.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and again staff very attentive and welcoming. Was very impressed. There is a lovely local pub called the romper just round the corner and the bar here is nice too.

Quick and easy access to Manchester airport.

The room was newly decorated and spotless. The staff were friendly. Great overnight stay for the airport.

Carpet is worn in some areas in room, but overall great for a stop off before your travels. Shelf with coffee tray hadn't been wiped, but I am fussy when it comes to cleaning. Staff were friendly at check in but I think £10 to get into your room at 1.15pm instead of 3pm especially when it is ready is a bit much. Just had soup for dinner which was tasty enough. Overall not a bad place to stay for short periods as it isn't near shops unless you have a car. Rooms were very quiet no plane noise. Shuttle bus to airport stops at 10am. 2nd night stay had fish & chips, fish was nice, small potion of mushy peas and chips weren't the best.
