A comfortable and nice clean room. Usual noise of occasional residents passing by rooms and doors etc, but on the whole a pleasant stay nonetheless.

Second time staying here at Christmas so that I can spend the festive season with friends. Lovely, clean hotel. All basics covered. Comfy beds. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I appreciated the Christmas card to the guest along with a little chocolate bar gift - such a nice touch. Thank you.

If you're a regular business hotel user and familiar with Premier Inn, dont book this one. Go and stay at the Holiday Inn by the train station in town, as this place is dreadful in comparison. The rooms are tired, as in 80s tired, the staff are not bothered about keeping good housekeeping. Oh, and if you want breakfast before you're setting off in the morning, then don't expect anything before 7:15, or as reception happily commented, theyre never ready until 7:30. Dreadful place.

We had the best stay in a family room. All staff were so friendly and we are so grateful to John on reception who found my daughter’s bunny and squirrel and posted them back to us. What a life saver! Thank you so much - we are so grateful ❤️ Thank you so so so much!!

Not well signposted. Staff overly laid-back. Rooms ok. Great having the entrance next to the smoking shed for the pub, where there's plenty of drinking, smoking and swearing to be had (very family friendly)!!!!!!!

Stayed for a couple of days. Very clean, comfortable, very good breakfast, off road parking and good value for money. Will definitely stay there again.

It was a great experience. We (party of 5 adults and 4 kids) all loved our foods. Great choices of drinks. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Changed our minds about eating because very limited menu a bit disappointed because came here 2 years ago had a lovely meal and planned to go back and visit this place again. so was really disappointed about this place and now I will not be going back finding we was the only 2 in the place on a Saturday evening I don't even want to give 1 star but you don't have the option of no stars

Really friendly staff - great place which unfortunately is hugely let down by the noise you can hear from surrounding rooms. I stay here frequently on business, as a lady on my own I feel safe in the environment but it really does depend on other cliental in adjoining rooms to my enjoyment of my stay. The walls are paper thin, you can hear people switching on light switches, coughing/snoring, arguing among other things... I'm not sure what can be done about rectifying this but really is a problem on some of my stays - most recently my last one with the people staying above me.

Great place to have a coffee. Conveniently located in the Town Hall square, with sheltered outdoor seating.
