Rooms feel like decommissioned army barracks. No restaurant. Would avoid. Staff were very lovely!

Not your usual Premier Inn. So there is no breakfast or place to eat next door as you would usually expect from a Premier Inn. It is quite dated, actually have a room key, not a card! And you can tell it's not been updated for a while. But all of that really doesn't matter. The location for us was perfect. Beds are usual Premier Inn extremely comfortable standard and rooms are spotless. The thing that really makes this place are the staff, they are all so lovely, friendly, helpful and happy. They provide items for breakfast such as cereals and porridge, as well as things like pot noodle on reception, which they sort out themselves and just ask for a Charity donation. Chloe, Kelly, Jean and the rest of the team, thank you so much - and I hope our rooms weren't too muddy when we left.

Dated hotel, no food offering. Handy for A38. Updated bathroom was good.

Looking a bit tired, but still very comfortable. TVs in the room are old and small. No restaurant, but shops and fish & chips nearby.

I would not ever visit this site ever again, as apart from the friendly and helpful reception service the rest of the offer is very poor. poorly lit carpark with a massive pothole in the entry, no food services at hotel, corridor smelt unpleasant, room tired, small TV which the remote didn't work. luckily I didn't pay for this stay as 120 pounds for this shoddy offering is daylight robbery.

As you would expect. The only downside is that there is no dinner or breakfast...

seriously, as soon as I was given the key you just know, booked and paid for by my company but jesus £90 for something dating back to what seems the mid 80's is scandalous, there are good points that you do get and why people do return to premier inns and that is the comfort of the beds and the general cleanliness, that I can't fault nor could I with the chap on reception, very friendly and efficient, now let's get to the ugly bits, why premier inn as a company think that a 1990 TV positioned miles away and one plug socket not even bed side is suitable is beyond me, if they are charging what seems a standard rate then the rooms need updating, one other good thing I forgot to mention is at least I got a mobile signal in this older type building compared to the steel boxes that premier inn assemble for their hotels

One of the 'old' generation Premier Inns - limited power sockets (1 accessible) no USB points, small TV. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Location is a major downside - just off the A38 with a disused/boarded-up pub next door. Nowhere close to buy food, nearest shops are about 10 minutes drive in Fradley.

Totally lacked atmosphere and warmth. There was no background music or even chatter. I could hear a couple in the kitchen discussing a member of staff which was poor and then I’m assuming the poor girl was having a review of her work to date in the cafe with customers all around. The coffee was mediocre and the sandwich was lacking in chicken. Really disappointed and wouldn’t return.

We have been here so many times and it is excellent every time. We were lucky enough to dine here twice this month as we had relatives here from Devon, followed by friends from New Zealand. Delicious home cooked food and plentiful portions as always. I can personally recommend the whitebait and prawn cocktail starters. If you like game - the pheasant is wonderful, as is the partridge. Fillet steak was amazing, I don’t think anyone could be disappointed whatever dish they choose!

Another Marston's Pub. I ordered the Mixed Grill. They did not have it. In my whole history of visiting Marston's pubs on only one occasion when I ordered the Mixed Grill did they have it. Is this a mythical menu item. The service was exceptional and the real ale was good. Food was standard chain pub grub.
