Premier Inn Leeds City Centre (Leeds Arena) hotel in Leeds

Stayed here for a quick get away in the town centre, the rooms were tidy, clean and room service was great. The beds are the best nights sleep. Their is a carpark right next door in the shopping centre for £12 for 24 hours. And a convenience store right on the doorstep (which also has a subway!) very close to the town centre. We didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The hotel was accessible. The air con is a little weak and we were placed on the 8th floor so we didn't have windows that open.

Breakfast scam! I got a confirmation email from the premier inn confirming that I had paid for 2 Breakfasts. Upon checking in I was told it was only one even though I showed them the confirmation email. The manager was dismissive and expected me to pay twice unacceptable!

Room was clean and perfect, the guy checking me in at reception on the 3rd of may around 2pm was so lovely, wish I got his name. Close to city centre. Was told about it being a serial occasion so they left gifts in the room for us, thanks to the hotel manager!

Stayed recently everything went smooth. Staff were Extremely helpful and nice. The rooms are so much better than last year. Ate in the restaurant as I suffer with a nut allergy the staff could not be anymore accommodating making sure everything is perfect.

Staying here was a great decision. Near everything location unmatched. The hotel looked well-kept from the outside. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and a credit to the chain. I was pleasantly surprised to be given a spacious room. the room was cozy and comfortable. The best part was the bed extremely comfortable and gave me one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while , can’t go wrong in a silent night bed. At check-in, I was offered two breakfast from 6:30 till 10:30 which I appreciated for the flexibility. While I didn’t opt for breakfast in the end, it was nice to have the choice. When I checked out, a staff member was at the front desk and very helpful.

Stayed recently for clubland with my friend. I was amazed at how modern and well kept the rooms were. The premier plus ones especially so beautiful with complimentary water and coffee not to mention the beautiful view of the city. I am alredy looking at comming back for Greg Davies in June !

I came for two nights before starting a new job. The hotel was OK from the outside. Front desk staff were not friendly and not representative of this chain. They gave me a triple room for some reason. Windows cannot be opened. Only one towel and the room was freezing. My main gripe is the bed which gave me severe backpain. On the glossy brochure on the table it shows Silentnight beds but they were not. I asked to change rooms and was given another triple one floor down. On arriving I was offered two choices of having breakfast - 6:30 (too early) or 10:30 (far too late) and given the lack of anyone actually having breakfast, I declined. On leaving the hotel, there was no one on front desk and the vending machine took my money without dispensing anything. The lady in the breakfast room was pleasant enough but no one to help with the vending machine. This hotel needs more facilities like a wardrobe, free water and a functioning hair dryer which cut out repeatedly. I will never ever stay here again. Appalling and overpriced.

Staff was the worst I ve seen. These people are very rude, very sad and bad vibes. The food was also awful, the remote control didn't work, the hair dryer didnt work. Worst premier inn experience. That place is falling apart.

Brilliant location for the arena, great service and clean rooms.

Brilliant location to city centre, rooms were clean and felt very luxurious especially for the price point. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were super modern complete with colour change LED lighting! Having to wait until exactly 3pm to check in though seems ludicrous as we were forced to wait 10 minutes in reception along with a long line of others. Instead, a staggered check in time/hour time span would work better for both guests and staff.

Since arriving staff treatment/welcome/service/help has been disappointing/there was none!

This hotel is exactly what you’d expect from a Premier Inn. I only stayed one night. The room was very clean and quiet, and had all the amenities you would expect. The price was very good booked last minute. Plus, it’s conveniently located in the heart of Leeds.

As expected from a Premier Inn. A great location if visiting the Leeds Arena.

Pretty hit and miss experience, The room was spacious compared to other Premier inns across the country, pretty standard for 1 night if you need a place to stay. However. You can enjoy an interesting experience at 3.30 in the morning of someone trying to physically break into the hotel room. We heard someone trying to pull the handle and scan a key card for a solid 10 minutes at that time in the morning. Definitely lock your doors as if we hadn't I'm sure we'd find some belongings missing. Couldn't find any other reviews about this so may have just been a one off for us. Definitely a scare. Bathroom smelt pretty bad aswell.

Pleasant people, few mins walk from the centre.

Initially had high hopes due to location. First impression on arrival not so good when girl at desk was sat in a contortionist cross legged position and made no attempt to’ right’ herself. Room appeared really good…. No view but I knew I’d not be spending much time in the room. Appalled when I went to wash my hands though, at the disgusting sight visible in the plug. I borked physically. If I had not arrived so late I would have contacted room service to move rooms. I also requested a room clean, staying two nights so wanted clean towels. That didn’t happen and my room hadn’t been touched. Overall my memory of my stay was outweighed by the disgusting state of the plug hole.

Rooms are surprisingly large and fantastically located for the arena. On the whole fine for a budget hotel and I especially liked being able to pick up extra tea and milk from the lobby.

I haven’t got enough energy and time to express my thoughts on here but I honestly could write a whole book to express my disappointment about the service we have received from during our stay. Location is great as it’s a few minutes walking distance to the centre but the staff and the service it was shocking. Honestly this is the first time leaving a review but I definitely won’t come back to this hotel. Leaving upset and the feeling that Ive wasted my money. Useless manager too btw.

Lovely room and staff, amazing breakfast. The only downside is the unusable, slow wifi.

Very very convenient for the Arena. Possibly the shortest journey from gig to hotel I've experienced. Rooms are minimalist but comfortable. No contact check in and check out. Handy for City Centre too.

Stayed the night of a show at the Arena across the street. It’s modern and clean. The room was large, modern with a huge bathroom and had everything needed. The bed and bedding was nice. The TV remote kept freezing which was a bit annoying. The air con/heating works well but is a tad noisy and when you re enter the room you have to turn it on again and set the temperature. There is a small supermarket right next door which is handy but they are understaffed making bar service somewhat slow. They have the usual restaurant onsite but there is a Wetherspoons 4 minutes away with way better, and cheaper, food and drink options especially at breakfast. For parking, use the Yourparkingspace app and park in The Merrion Centre 5 mins away for around £10 for 24 hours. A niggle I have with this and any Premier Inn is this. If you arrive before the 3 pm check in time the terminals are switched off so you have to queue for a staff member to check you in and the couple doing so in front of us took forever. Plus, whether you arrive at 11am or 2pm there is a £10 charge to check in early. The room is ready anyway so they haven't incurred any additional cost or inconvenience but you still have to pay £10.

Good location to city stayed too vist Christmas markets had few drinks in evening in bar

Driving map guidance sent us off centre and no parking facilities

One of the best premier inns I’ve stayed at. It looks brand new. Modern, spacious and clean rooms. The staff working there were nice too. Would definitely recommend.

Good quality premier Inn in a very convenient location

I can't fault this place at all. The bed is the comfiest bed I've ever slept in and I'm sad to go home. One night in that comfy bed is not enough. The staff here are so kind and helpful. Parking is discounted over at Merrion Citipark. We parked around the side of the hotel in order to come and check in, take our bags in and then took the car to the secure carpark. The breakfast was lovely. Beans are available to pop on the breakfast but I didn't fancy any today. There's a lovely big selection of breakfast items.. and hot coffee and tea, on tap! There's soya milk and semi-skimmed milk, orange juice, apple juice and water. Check out is 12pm, which is fantastic so you don't have to rush around. Leeds Arena is literally opposite as well, and our venue Millennium Square was 10 mins walk away.

Staff are excellent, rooms clean and comfortable. Location was good.

Acceptable and modern room with a modest view and occasionally terrible squeaking in the middle of the night. The windows could not be opened and the cleanliness could have been better. Breakfast options were NOT available as stated and advertised on the menu and paid for in advance and I was only offered a little more of it once out of 4 nights. Otherwise I was referred to the buffet. The advertising for the hotel is promising, the disappointment all the more certain. What a pity.

Jane at the front desk helped to move me to a room with a bath which I was very grateful for!

Stayed here for just one night for a concert at the first direct arena. Very convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance and with discounted parking nearby - £10 for 24hrs. Check in was great and the staff were very friendly. Stayed in room 306, very big room, think it was a family room as it had a door joining us to another room. The room was very simple and outdated. Bathroom was very small and basic. Beds were 10/10 very comfy.
