Premier Inn Ipswich South hotel in Babergh

Have to say standards have slipped dramatically. Put in a room with a terrible stench of sewers/drains. Managed to change room for remainder of stay but staff woefully incompetent at dealing with the issue. Refusing to partially refund for my stay (despite terms and conditions stipulating they should) and fobbing me off with excuses. Service stinks as much as the room! Will not be returning!

Accessible room not all suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Bathroom has lots of grab rails but shower is over the bath so if you can't move your legs very much you can't get in it to shower anyway.

Clean, helpful staff, nice restaurant on site. Rooms clean and tidy, as expected with a PI. Nice walk down to river, and under bridge, just look for green cones and footpath sign, as you walk through the boat yard.

Staff friendly enough room was clean and tide getting in the shower was slippery as no mat lol need some benches out side and if u want a taxi book it 2 hours in advance ours was 90 minutes late making us late lol apart from that all was good

I think premier inn have dropped the ball or are not bothered about their customers the hotel and restaurants smells and need to keep customers aware of early closing time in the restaurant and bar before booking on the website.

Really lovely stay. We stay often for football. Mel was quick and effective at checking us in. Booked us a table for dinner which was very good. Room was spotlessly clean. Friendly cleaning staff.

Beautiful location and comfortable rooms. Good value and plenty of breakfast choices.

Good service. Silent location, ok'ish room. Little bit outdated. There is literally no free wifi at this place. Shampoo was diluted with water...wtf seriously? Not good Bang for buck. You can stay at marmor palace with same price.

Stayed here over the weekend. Check was quick. Allocated room 5 which was clean and very comfortable. Adjoining restaurant was good. Staff very friendly. Water offered upon check due to the weather being very warm.

Just got back from a lovely stay. Check in was super easy and the lady offered us a welcome drink due to it being very warm. We were given room 24 which was spotless clean and great view. The food from the restaurant was good too. All staff very friendly and nothin too much trouble. Definitely stay again

The meal I had at the connected Beefeater was absolutely spot on... really good plate of food with everything cooked to perfection. Usual premier inn as in easy check in/out, good size room, comfy bed and great shower but no air conditioning was disappointing.

Dated! Not even good value any more!

Friendly staff, good location. But don't rely on the next door Beefeater bar being open later in the evenings.

Location was brilliant, rooms had a musty smell, whole place looks shabby & in need of updating. We booked breakfast for both mornings, this seemed to be a problem with the restaurant, they had over booked & no communication between pub & Premier Inn

Had a lovely weekend at Premier inn Ipswich South. Good location,easy to find,room was ideal for our stau. Very clean room,beds excellent,a fan provided due to the hot weather. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beefeater food next door was faultless,plenty of choice. Certainly would stay there again.

Very clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Was a great stay. Thank you to the lady at reception for providing me with free disposable tooth brush and paste. The breakfast was great and the car park felt safe and well maintained. There’s a single electric charger there is anyone needs a top-up. Will visit again.
