It is the site of the former Milburn Distillery, which closed in 1985, and is now a hotel chain called Premier Inn. The chimney remains as it was back then, but the interior has been thoroughly renovated and is a beautiful hotel.

Stayed overnight for an opticians appointment the following day to save a 3 hour journey in the morning. We have stayed at Premier Inns throughout the UK and have agreed that this is one of the best. We will be booking again at the end of this month to attend another opticians appointment. It is so quick to get to shopping centres, retail parks and a cinema, The staff were lovely, the place very clean (not easy with below freezing temperatures ice, snow and salt all over Inverness). The food was excellent. Highly recommended.

By far the best premier inn in Inverness. Staff are amazing, food is pretty good and premier plus rooms are superb. Been staying at this hotel on and off the last 2 months. A big thank you to Chris, Paige, Kelly and the rest of the staff providing a away from home experience. Thank you you are all amazing.

The hotel is close to amenities & the city centre. Our room was clean & spacious, but did have some bad points, such as only having 1 dining chair at the table, when the room was for up to 3 people. Our room was on the first floor, there's no lift so this isn't a good choice if you need a wheelchair. The food was great & the price is similar to some other well-known restaurants. Beds are very comfortable, but the views aren't great. Even with curtains open, the room was still dark, so the lighting was on when we were in the room. Did smell dampness in a small part of the corridor. The overall price for 3 nights was hard to beat.

Friendly staff, modern rooms, lots of parking space. It used to be a distillery so the rooms are shared across two buildings, which makes things a bit more private if you're staying in the outbuilding

Stayed one night. Only five minutes walk from city centre. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Curtains kept out the light which isn't often the case in hotels. And even tho it is on a main road it wasn't too noisy.

Can be very pricey but you get what you pay for. Very nicely refurbished rooms and very comfortable beds; even the standard rooms are very posh compared to some other Premier Inns! Great for a stay of any length.

Overnight stay. Asked the restaurant team to take a photo at dinner as it was our anniversary, 40+ years. When we went to pay the bill they presented us with champagne and chocolates, lovely surprise, many thanks Premier Inn.

At the risk of sounding pompous,, my family and I have spent thousands upon thousands in this restaurant over the years. We've been going for over 25+ years. Ordered a takeaway tonight and got my usual, Tandoori king prawn for the princely sum of £22.40. What does one get for that? 3 prawns. Yes, THREE prawns. T-H-R-E-E. It used to be 10-12. The other food was just alright. Not bad at all but not what we used to expect under the previous owner. Very oily. It's very disappointing to spend this much at a restaurant we have so many good memories of.
