Hotel was fine but Riverside car park is awful and high risk of scraping expensive alloys in an old fashioned badly designed car park with high kerbs everywhere

I came On the night of 11/16/2024, there was a girl at the reception who was with us and she said in a loud voice, “There is no place for you.”

Lovely location and comfortable. Worth reading the parking information carefully if you plan to drive. Hotel subsidised parking is good value but quite tight manœuvring to get in.

£184 for one night. That is absolutely ludicrous! Where in the world does a Premier Inn come even close to that level? Honestly!

Given the proximity to Warner Bros and the convention, we decided to book. An error. Isolated from the world, it forces you to always take a taxi and taxi prices are not cheap until London. Small rooms and zero assistance. We had forgotten the electrical adapters, they didn't have any at the hotel and they didn't bother to find any. For dinner, being so isolated, we had dinner - English style - in the hotel, where a sandwich each and a few chips costs around 100 pounds. Not to be repeated!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting harry potter and the local area, we loved our room and the staff were very helpful and polite, the room was perfect the only niggle we had was that the menu was small there were no other options that we was told about also the work persons completing the renovations kept staring at our 14 yr old daughter and they would smoke at the entrance even though there are signs clearly stating no smoking, other than that a very pleasant stay. Parking was easy at the riverside and there are a good selection of shops very close by.

Another nice premier inn with refurbished rooms. Bar and restaurant connected. Very quiet. Staff were really great. All very clean. It's up on top of the shopping centre with ample parking attached. No issues whilst I stayed, everything as expected. Check in and out was fast.

The room was clean but in need of a little attention, frayed carpet, a few bits in the bathroom. Ok for our needs

Nice hotel, rooms are your typical premier inn as you expect, clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We was confused about parking before we arrived but the reviews on here was very helpful however nobody mentioned the actual name of the carpark. So you want to park on the Riverside carpark hemel hempstead. You go up the spiral to level 3 and you will see the "premier inn guests level 3-4" sign. That's where you need to park. You can walk across the bridge on level 3 to take you to the premier inn. Because you're staying here and parked on the Riverside you only need to pay £4 at reception with premier inn, then after your stay you just exist you shouldn't need to do anything else. Pleasant stay no issues, good location for shops, food and public transport and short distance from more to do also. Hope this is helpful 😊

The staff in this hotel are so lovely and kind nothing is too much trouble we had a comfortable stay after visiting harry potter at Warner experience Watford. The food was excellent both breakfast and in the evening. The carpark is a bit tricky to negotiate if you have a large vehicle but it felt very secure once parked on the 3rd floor and then across the bridge to the hotel would recommend to anyone visiting the area

Located right in the centre. The staff were helpful and the hotel was quiet. Once you get off the maze of roundabouts your fine. You go up a spiral car park and park on level 3. Doesn't feel the safest place walking along the bridge etc to get to the hotel. Rooms are spacious if not slightly dated. Located near a shopping centre, bovingdon studios etc.

We were a bit disappointed really. The hotel needs a big refresh as things like the chairs in the dining area and bathroom tiles are a bit worn and looked dirty. The window in our room also didn't pull fully closed but that was just a minor issue. Can't fault the staff efforts though, well done team.

We booked skiing sessions at the Snowcentre in Hemel Hemstead and decided to do an overnight so I booked the Premier inn which was only a short 12 min drive away (came up as M1 Luton) but only 12 mins away?? so booked it anyway mainly because it was £69 cheaper than Premier Inn/ Travel Lodge located in Hemel Hemstead. I booked it on the evening before for a Monday (27th Feb 2024) and paid just £60 for a family room with King size bed and two single beds (for me and my two kids) and £9.99 for breakfast and kids eat free!! Plenty of parking. Staff are very welcoming and breakfast was cooked to order so fantastic. The room was spotless had everying you need, incl free wifi, they allowed me to check in an hour early and leave a little late by 30 mins too without any extra charge. Added bonus is that I dont think is was a particularly busey period didnt see many other guests. Overall Amazing value, excellent location, will always be booking here for future Snowcentre visits.

Went for a family meal last night with 11 of us. Was a special occasion with friends/ family over from Oz. Lovely setting, food was good and service great. Special mention to Carolyn who looked after us. Her service was excellent and she regularly checked to see if we were all happy or needed anything else.

Teresa is basically my mother away from home, she’s always making sure I’m well fed and looked after. Bar staff goes above and beyond even for the littlest change in drinks. Big props to Abi, Oli, Tom, Jess, Sofia and the team! Definitely my favourite place to come for a drink and chill out, even if I live 35mins away..
