NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! It will be easier for me to list the issues along with images. 1. Air Vent – The air vent was filled with an alarming amount of dust, far beyond what could be explained by just a few weeks of neglect. It looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in months. 2. Basin – There were visible strands of hair around the basin. It was revolting and immediately made us question the overall hygiene of the room. 3. Bathroom Corner Behind Bin – Covered in dust. This level of neglect made us feel utterly uncomfortable. 4. Bed – A tear in the duvet cover was bad enough, but the bed itself had far worse issues: o Bloodstain 1 – A visible drop of blood on the mattress protector. o Bloodstain 2 – Another stain, which was even more distressing. How could this have been missed during cleaning? o Yellow Stain – I dread to think what this was. It's completely inexcusable. 5. Carpet – The edges of the carpet were filthy, filled with dust, as if the room hadn’t seen a vacuum in weeks. 6. Headboard – Dust was visibly accumulated on the headboard, adding to the feeling of neglect. 7. Kettle – The kettle was so dirty that we didn’t even want to use it. We ended up going to the McDonald’s next door for coffee the next morning. 8. Kettle Tray – Finding hair in the kettle tray was yet another disturbing sign of how poorly the room had been cleaned. 9. Lamp – Dust was thickly layered across the lampshade. Again, another clear indication that proper cleaning procedures were not followed. 10. Room Thermostat – The thermostat didn’t work, but considering the state of the air vent, I’m relieved, as I wouldn't have wanted to breathe in air circulating from such a filthy source. 11. Table in the Room – There was an unidentifiable substance on the table, which only added to our disgust. 12. Shower – The shower area was an absolute disgrace. From dust to mould, hair, and rust, the condition of this bathroom was simply appalling. I can’t even bring myself to comment on the hard water deposits or rust. 13. Toilet – I’ll let the photos I have speak for themselves, but needless to say, this was yet another area of deep concern.

Basically a transit hotel but well-kept and very welcoming, a well-kept and very pleasant environment. Typical but high-quality cuisine. Neat, clean rooms.

Awful cleanliness and standards - stayed here for one night prior to a flight at Edinburgh airport and was met with a room that was unbearably hot, with hairs and marks all over the sheets and towels and a fan caked in dust and got knows what else (which I didn’t want to use to cool the room for obvious reasons) - morning breakfast was cold and completely void of flavour. Made a complaint and received a £29 good will refund for a room in which I had to lie on top of the sheets and didn’t sleep at all due to the heat - what happened to the good night sleep promise ??

Having stayed in many premier inns before I was sadly let down by my 2 night stay in a family room - Starting with the cons of booking here because I think this can definitely be worked on for future reference, and the cons of this outweighed the pros sadly.. Cons: Price was excessive for what you actually gained from staying here, room had an awful smell like the carpets needed a good clean and it was like a wall of stench hit you as soon as you entered the room, upon investigation I found the bathroom extractor isolated at the wall and this could very well have been the root of the smell but the smell was stubborn and wouldnt leave once I turned this on - bed was not comfy at all (not what premier inns motto is) - pillows were all hard - room had no air con only a window that opened a crack - only enough 'refreshments' for two coffee and two sachets of white sugar (I'd of expected more from a Premier Inn) - shower had mould round the taps like they needed a good scrub; Pros: towels were comfy - make up mirror with light on it - HOT water with good shower pressure (I am a stickler for showers with poor water pressure in hotels) is prime location for visiting Edinburgh/surrounding - short drive to Dalmeny train station - next to a garage/mcdonalds & short walk to Tesco - free parking for residents - restaurant attached (Brewers fair)

Stayed for 2 nights so the rooms are clean and the staff were friendly and helpful so they are the positives however. Location was a bit of a pain seemed to be in the middle of nowhere close to queens Ferry town but be honest the bridges were only the good things if you like that sort of thing it's 25 to 30 mins from edinburgh and it's next door to a macdonalds. It does have a very small car park personally didn't have any problems parking but can see what problems can happen as small area. The room was clean however we were above the brewers fayre extraction system so heard a hum all afternoon and all night the room was hot so kept opening and shutting window as no fan in the room and we kept getting food smells the views were not good . But for a over night business stay it would be ok

First time in Edinburgh (May 2024) and most hotels im he city were booked. This was my first time using Premier Inn and didn’t know what to expect. I would say it’s closer to a 1-star or 2star motel than 3-star. The location was not ideal and if you’re using the bus system it takes a while to get there and back especially if you have activities in Edinburgh city. In hindsight I would have if available paid the extra £100 to stay in the city than this place was not worth the savings to say the least.

Great value and with the road system it really isn't very far to anywhere from here. Rooms were great even if the outside is looking a bit rundown and the staff were sometimes a bit preoccupied with things other than helping guests.

Stayed here for one night. Can’t fault it. We paid £55 for the night, and it was everything it needed to be. Only a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh. Highly recommend if you want a cheap hotel in arms reach of Edinburgh.

Well located very close to the Forth road bridge and much cheaper than staying in Edinburgh itself which is very expensive these days. Room was fine but warm for me and bed a bit firm but that's personal choice. There was an odd odour from the bathroom when I first arrived which was odd because it was spotlessly clean. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really well cooked. Definitely stay again

The rooms just show how little the company spend on up keep just dreary, and the bar that wants to close at 9pm even after being told there was a group of 28 turning up and as usual met with an arrogant bar manager called Tamsin who really should not be a manager her people skills leave a lot to be desired she was rude confrontational and arrogant give this hotel a miss and thanks to this experience my company is now changing where we stay whilst on tour well done premier Inn

Arrived to a badly laid out car park and got the last space, welcomed by a doorway covered in rubbish and cigarette ends. Given the last to let room, no sofa, broken light, broken hairdryer, uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was cold and the older guy welcoming started a conversation that really wasn’t appropriate for anyone about a coach crash that had happened over night. Made to feel like an idiot by receptionist telling me how to use a hairdryer, no it was broken. Whole place needs a refurb!

Not expecting luxury from PI but this place is dirty and service is poor. Piles of rubbish blowing around the car park, filthy room, wonky toilet seat, and staff who couldn't care less about service. I'll not be back.

It is expected, as this is budget chain of hotels, that facilities are basic but, and this is a BIG BUT, also that these facilities are CLEAN!!!....the bathroom in room 19 was anything but clean! Not least heavy BLACK MOULD around ALL of shower door(easily removed with a toothbrush and some anti mould spray) grubby/rusty waste paper bin and 'dirt' around hinges of toilet seat!...not good enough, this is basic cleanliness or in this case, lack of it Premier Inn!!!...it was busy Easter w'end so no point in asking for alternative room but please note, WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN

Nice quiet hotel with some nearby amenities with easy access to the motorway network. Ample free parking which is always a bonus. The place is let down by needing some money ploughing into it and redecorating the rooms and replacing the ageing furniture. I didn’t want to sit on the chair at all due to staining.

I'm not a Child of the Spoons, but if you only go there to check out the glorious restoration of a former cinema, you will be adequately rewarded. (The veg Asian noodles were borderline inedible, but there were much better options, it seemed. Not everything on the master menu is available, and the staff seemed confused when presented with it.) Buy a drink, go to the top floor and just take it all in. Spectacular.

We really like The Ghurka. Excellent, hot food - curries, nan bread and rice. Cosy, comfy but clean environment, and good service. We've been twice - myself and my young teenage daughters. We'll definitely go again, as a reliable family favourite restaurant. Very close to the fabulous Dominion Cinema!

Visited this place with my family. I was SHOCKED at how stand off-ish and rude the manager was. I came here once during the fringe which was a positive experience but this won’t won’t have me back. Seems like different people and was not impressed. Won’t be back.
