Premier Inn Edinburgh A1 (Musselburgh) hotel in East Lothian

Can not fault the staff really nice- but the places needs a refurbishment badly the outside is a disgrace.

Place is great and quiet. WiFi and reception leaves a lot to be desired to be honest not the greatest. Can't complain about anything else. Every thing else is top notch

Very dissapointing. Stayed here for two nights on business. The reception was lukewarm to say the least, and the only information offered was that the restaurant (The only one near the hotel) was closed for the evening. The bedroom was very cold and I was unimpressed by a large area of missing paint on the bathroom ceiling, presumably the result of a leak from the room above at some point. Although the room rate included full breakfast, I was told when I went down the second morning that the restaurant was closed again, but was offered a croissant and a banana. Worst Premier Inn experience ever, and I've stayed in a lot.

Had a great stay, room was large with a comfortable bed and everything I needed for a couple of nights. Reception and housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and helpful 😊 Thank you for a lovely stay!

I stayed in Edinburgh in room 305 from days 8 to 10, and had a pair of leggings STOLEN by the maid! Booked under Justin's name!

Remote , nice and quiet, drive to park n ride , newcraighall catch train to Edinburgh really easy

Great place , as all Premiers are, food is good at the food place and location is good for Edinburgh . Will continue to visit in future years🙂👍

Mould on room ceiling in two areas. Torn lampshade. Stains on carpet. Cracked ceiling.

Hotel no complaints restraint is up for sale so not a great situation staff certainly impacted.

Stayed over two nights and the staff couldn't have been amy more helpful I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Nice rooms with opening windows! Food was good, bar and dining area were tired (very sticky floor around bar)

Second stay at this one ...I travel with work decent room and quiet that's more important to me

staff were very welcoming after a long drive - room was very clean and spacious - location was quiet and well priced and 5 minute drive to the nearest shopping park and Asda - would recommend

Nothing out of the ordinary. The pub attached shut the kitchen at 8.30 and the bar closed at 9.30. It's not ideal since we didn't arrive till 8

First visit, excellent coffee and friendly staff.

Staff very pleasant & friendly, accommodation clean & comfortable, had meal in adjoining restaurant, meal lovely, but building needing attention, sticky tables, weeds growing out of gutter, peeling paint, carpets have seen a lot of foot fall, spoiled what could be a ideal place to stay.

Decent rooms, nice service, good accessibility

Room and bed were as you would expect comfy and clean, first evening meal and breakfast were very good , second breakfast didn't exist, nothing left no plates not even any butter, only one person running restaurant and a large group of women were just leaving as we arrived bags full of fruit and cakes, so we had to get breakfast elsewhere on our journey, still waiting for response as to refund.

It is what it is. Rooms are more dated than most premieres. Staff are lovely.

At check in we were helped by a nice, sweet reception employee. She advised that booking online is cheaper than at the counter. So we first had dinner at the restaurant next to the hotel and booked online there. Went back an hour later and checked in. Once again friendly help with interest in our trip to Scotland. Spacious and clean room!

Facilities need an upgrade. Restaurant needs more staff

It's a premier inn, there's not much more to say, once you've stayed in one you might as well have stayed in em all! The location is good for our short visit to the area with easy access to Edinburgh and along the coast.

Shortage of staff at the bar waited a long time to be served. Breakfast look warm a bit messy areas,not kept tidy had to ask both mornings for cups teaspoons etc Not one of the best premier inns been to better one's the whole building eating area etc very tired looking needs a revamp,was there 9 years ago still the same no change very disappointed. Value for your money I will say that.

Alright for a getaway if you don't mind being miles away from bus stop.

Good stop over for Edinburgh airport, when travelling northwards. Nice setting, free parking and a Brewers Fayre, next door. All ideal. Only problem: pillow was like a park bench - barely slept and woke with a headache

Staff really helpful and friendly, nice room, very cozy and comfortable. Food at the brewers fayre next door was excellent 👌. Thank you to the Premier Inn staff for making us feel welcome.
