Nice friendly welcome. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff helpful about local area and transport. Good clean, comfortable room and bed. About a 20-minute walk to the station for the train to Newcastle, although it was raining pretty heavily, so on return, we got an Uber back from the station to the hotel.

A typical premier inn. The staff are the stars of this one, both the hotel and the pub. Very friendly and extremely helpful, breakfast was excellent with more choice for the continental than any other hotel I've stayed in.

The Premier Inn is very dated and there's a lack of plug sockets in the rooms and none near the bed. Standard Premier Inn facilities but there was only one towel in our room. The breakfast was dreadful. Service at breakfast was superb but it didn't make up for how poor quality the food was and some of the options such as fruit salad were absent. I can't remember eating such a bad breakfast at a Premier Inn - the pain au Chocolat were style, inedible black pudding, flavourless mushrooms and I could continue. I certainly wouldn't stay at this Premier Inn again because of the breakfast.

Honestly the fish was alright but the chips were horrible. The portion size was unacceptable for £3. I spent £9 on chips and all of the portions pretty much came to the size of what I would expect for 1 portion. Put me off ordering from reds.

By far One of the Best Pizzerias you can literally smell the food on the grill from half way across village 👃🏻♨️. Sizes are absolutely massive on everything I ordered a mixed kebab wrap and was filled with good amount of meat, also the coleslaw and garlic are stunning from here👌🏼🔥And staff are always polite and friendly Highly recommend👍

We attended for the Halloween spooktacula event, a wonderful atmosphere, brilliant staff. I was served by Shellby and Michaela most of the time we were there, both members of staff were extremely good with my daughter who even won the pumpkin competition while we were there for the event. Mel was brilliant as well, even though she runs the pub she always made time to speak with us and other guests. Our food was great, managing to even be on time despite how busy the place was we were never left waiting long. My daughter is now absolutely obsessed with mac and cheese!
