Booked me in for the wrong room and didn't communicate this at all. Very slow check in queues going out the door. Self check in never seen working, waste of electricity just sat there. Did not sleep well at all and overall was a poor experience. Only positive comment I could make is that the room was at least clean. Will not be using again as this is a stopping point for long European trips where a good nights rest is essential for safe driving.

Great half term stay either the children. Using this hotel as a base to go out and about. Each day when we came back we were greeted with the friendly team, asking how our day was and really taking an interest, they came up with some good suggestions of places for us to visit.

Stayed here for one night. Because we had stayed her before in the past and liked it, we had booked it again. The room was okay. Reception was okay, too. The guy greeting people in the small restaurant was a little rude to us. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately I have to re-write tis review. Booked this hotel again, because it so convenient for catching the ferry. The room itself is okay. But that's where it ends. Wi-Fi absolutely atrocious, to say the least. Not even 1 bar. Reception just says that somebody a look. If the the contractor doesn't fulfil its contract, than change the firm. Went for a meal in the restaurant last. It was okay. When booking the breakfast for this morning, reception never told that there is a special for evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Also we were unable to order Fish'n'chips, as the fryer has been out of action for the last 2.5 weeks!!! Overall a not so good experience!!

Excellent hotel in terms of accomodation and service. Leasing of the car park to Horizon is a real shame, especially as they're now charging £8 a night parking.

Perfectly located for catching a ferry in the morning, this hotel has decent rooms, comfortable beds, and is generally clean. People choose it for its convenience, and if you get a room with a sea view, it's an extra bonus. However, a good night’s sleep is a priority, and sadly, this is hardly possible as the rooms are so hot you can’t get a wink of sleep. Ironically, they provide instructions on how to fix the temperature, but the system doesn’t work. The fan in the room just circulates the hot air and makes a terrible noise. We arrived late and were hoping for some hot food, but the kitchen was already closed. You’d think that a hotel restaurant might stay open a tad longer to feed late arrivals. Breakfast was okay, offering a good variety of hot and cold dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The town itself is an eyesore in places, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Location is good if you have an early ferry crossing, particularly as it gets noisey with guests leaving from around 4am. Staff member at check in was friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfy. The room was incredibly hot with no air conditioning. The hotel did supply a fan in the room however, even on full it did nothing (other than make noise) Unfortunately none of us managed to sleep more than a couple of hours.

Reception team: we were there on Monday arrived late in the evening (7pm) roughly. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful, really nice. Room: super nice room with a double bed and a single bed for our child. The room was nice spacious and comfortable. The sea view was amazing. Breakfast: The breakfast lady was super nice and the breakfast is as good as a 5 star hotel. 5 star all the way for customer services and everything. Thanks alot.

Rooms and actually the entire hotel could use an upgrade. We have been coming here for many years, but we see the state of maintenance deteriorating. The bed is very good for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, walking on the boulevard in the evening did not feel safe because of the many vagrants. This location has always been a plus, but next time we will definitely look for a different hotel.

Stayed at this hotel recently and loved the excellent location on the sea front. Super close to the ferry port, a large retail park, and the town itself. Our room was decent and had a great view of the harbor, perfect for watching the ships. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. They provided a fan, but it wasn’t quite enough. Breakfast was the typical you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Overall, a solid stay with a fantastic view!

Very unhelpful reception. Not interested at all. We had a room that overlook the high way, no air con so the room was hot. Couldn't open the window due to the traffic noise. Ask to change rooms as we were staying 2 nights.. Reply from reception. Not Possible.! Fan proved isn't suitable. The room it self was clean, an additional chair would have been nice. I hope the reviews are taken seriously and actioned by management. From reviewing the reviews myself it would appear there is no follow up by management. Same old complains.

We are staying in this Premier in tonight 5th july and I have to say this is by far the worst Premier Inn we have stayed in and we always stay in Premier inns wherever we go. Restaurant was half empty and was told there are no tables. The room is absolutely awful small and looking out onto a wall and a road. My stepdaughter had the first floor and we are in our 70 s and we re on the 3rd floor at the very far and of the corridor. Ignorant staff did nt even speak. I would nt give this hotel even a 1 star if I did nt have to. Thank god we are only here for 1 night. Just an awful hotel. Disappointed with Premier inn . Linda rice

The only thing letting the room down was that it had no air conditioning. They did supply a fan but with a family of 4 in one room it wasn't enough. Everything else was as expected and the position couldn't have been closer to the port (you could see it from the windows). Right opposite the promenade and ample parking. Disability parking was right outside the front entrance and apart from having to manoeuvre through a heavy door at reception wheelchair accessibility was good on the ground floor.

Visited this hotel a few times no so thought I’d leave a review. Excellent location on the sea front and in short walking distance of a large retail park and the town itself. Obviously very close to the ferry port and parking is free for staying guest. Only slightly annoying part is that you have to go right round the one way system to get back to the ferry port. We had a family room which was a decent size and overlooked the harbour so we could see ships coming and going.

The check in as we arrived was all done by a touch screen computer very quick , make sure you enter your car registration number to avoid getting fined in the car park. Never really saw any staff while staying there but the few we did bump into were friendly. The table table restaurant that is attached offers the standard premier in menu. With the staff all being really friendly. We had the breakfast add on with the rooms and it was nice to see that the cooked food was laid out for a buffet style which I prefer and not every premier inn does it this way. Your typical non cooked items and tea and coffee. With staff filling up the cooked food / drinks before they were gone. As for the views I would have liked a sea view but we got a roadside view, with a decent view of Dover castle. The room was hot so not sure what it would be like in the summer as no air con. As this was a visit in February. Just inside reception they have tea bags , coffee etc that you can take back to your room The hair dryers that use are overly complicated.

Small chips are literally small. Prob about the size of a small crisp Packet and a piece of ( large) Cod @£9.00 looked like it had been cut in half. Good quality fish but most deffo overpriced for the portion size and a bit of a challenging staff member….
