Plenty around the hotel to visit. Staff were very helpful. Room was clean along with the public areas, 2 lifts may life more convenient on the top floor.

To start this review I would like to stress; Avoid staying on a weekend especially if you are given a car park facing room. On Saturday and Sunday nights, Xscape car park directly outside is used by the local boy racers as a race track. Engine revving and tyre smoking burnouts carry on until 2am. (The windows are very thin and the sound reverberates throughout the room). Phone signal is non-existent in the rooms and WiFi is £5 a day for 3mb speed. The hotel feels dated and unmaintained. Main entrance revolving door is broken, only 1 lift works and has buttons missing inside. My room had a broken table, wall sockets and a non functional tv remote, not a major drama but added to the unkempt feel of the hotel. The bath was a good size unfortunately the plug was broken leaving only the shower usable. I found a half used deodorant can and rolled up socks left by the previous occupant under the bed, which leads me to question the cleaning practices used. On the plus side the bed was large and comfy. Finally I was woken up in the morning by the cleaning crew blasting music in the corridor at 08:30am. Overall a very disappointing stay and won't book here again.

Decent premier inn - starting to look a little tired but in a perfect location for the motorway and Xscape and was only £40 for the night! Shower was stuck on far too hot a temperature and was very difficult to cool down but other than that was a decent stay.

Needs a bit of TLC in places. No door handles on shower room, same room 8 days ago, had same issue

Had to move room as the shower was blocked. The steak I had for dinner was completely tastless. You now have to pay for parking g even if you are a guest. There is also apparently a race track localy! Staff friendly and did deal with my issues promptly. I was staying away with work, I think if I was coming this way again for a private stay I would probably find another hotel .

Location of the is hotel is perfect!! Honestly couldn't fault it however the rooms are extremely tired and need TLC!! I tried expressing my voice to the company (via website) and got nowhere! Bathroom had mould over the ceiling, mould by the windows. Not great however it was a quick visit. Staff, no this is a interesting. One of the girls who was serving the table.. honestly had a average visit amazing. Attitude and professionalism amazing. Young lads, / some of the front counter girls honestly didn't seem to have the urge to assist. Even asking for a drink from the bar was a chore!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Usual niggles with room. Smell of smoke particularly in bathroom. TV remote control worked intermittently. Corridor door security similar. Located on a Retail Park with lots of fast food drive throughs' made for a noisy night exacerbated by lots of cars meeting on car parks opposite till very late. Avoid if you are a light sleeper. Good standard Premier Inn breakfast.

Popped in today to do some potential marketing for pizza hut with offering their guests a discount when dining with us across the road. Staff there very helpful and professional. Front lobby area looked very clean and tidy too. Plenty of spaces to park in carpark outside which is a bonus.

This is mainly a review on tonight's service team, with particular attention to Emma's exceptional level of attentiveness. Emma also displayed a real, natural and positive rapport and made my evening meal a great experience. I felt like I was the only person in the room. Bravo.

Great hotel friendly knowledgable staff clean rooms. Only complaint is the road outside is used for boy racers at night also the car park at Xscape which can make a lot of noise until about 11pm so if you want an early night pick a room at the back. Breakfast was sufficient and lots available. Also ideal for Xscape and a good selection of feeding establishments around the area

Kiya's professionalism and attention to detail ensured a seamless experience, while Emma's witty humor and knowledge of history added a delightful touch to our stay. Their combined efforts made our time at the hotel truly memorable, and we'll definitely be returning thanks to their outstanding service.

Regular premier inn guests, first time here at this one! Let’s the others down, check in slow as there was 1 reception staff, floor 3 family room was ours. Soon disappointed with the lack of cleanliness, tired areas and mould. Room very hot, Air fan (air con) didn’t work! Window opens 2”, Noise from road, facing busy car park, loud screeching at night from cars racing. Packets left underneath the beds, dust on shelves, T.v. Remote hardly worked. Very hot night in the room. Close to the lifts and stairs, so noise disruption On check out… no one on reception am. Handed key to a woman ( with clipboard, probably housekeeping staff) I explained the air con didn’t work and it was very hot last night, She replied “try cleaning it, come out wet through!” And agreed it’s been like that ages! So they are aware of this problem and it’s not been fixed!

I travel about 30 weeks a year for business, but this is the worst (free) WiFi I've ever experienced. And this despite the fact that it is advertised on the homepage. I tested several times and never got above 1Mbps. Probably just so you can sell your premium. The only thing missing is that you have to state how often you showered for the water bill... The location of the hotel is great, there are many options for leisure activities or eating out in the immediate vicinity. Typical English breakfast, depending on the time there are a few seats in the restaurant. The rooms are large enough and well equipped, some sockets with USB charging options. Otherwise similar to other hotels, maybe a little louder than standard (or my roommate was particularly loud)

Great hotel, can't go wrong with a premier in there my first choice if I need to stop anywhere, typical prem rooms but the staff are great and friendly plenty of rooms available I always opt for the premier plus room, the restaurant has a good menu selection reasonable prices and food comes out in a decent time, bars next to reception plenty if drinks on offer, there's venders available for midnight snackers if needed and it's just over the road from the xscape in a perfect location and close to the motorway

Stayed here last night and felt compelled to write a positive review! This premier inn is exceptionally busy/in high demand - however despite so many guests Sarah and her colleagues (/team) were an absolute pleasure to deal with. So polite, helpful and friendly!! The staff at this hotel made this such an enjoyable visit and would definitely recommend to others 🙂

Forgot food on my order, i rung them up to ask for it and was told the driver was busy but i would it soon. Never received the missing food. The lady was rude because i struggled to hear what she was saying because she was talking to multiple people at once which is just rude and poor phone etiquette.

Top place in the whole Wakefield area! Never fail to provide top quality meals (big portions and flavourful) as well as friendly delivery services. You really can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients! Best tiramisu in Wakefield! Always happy to order a Valentino’s and will definitely be eating again!
