Went with a friend, who lives nearby, who had highly recommended , and she wasn’t wrong! Fab establishment. Great atmosphere, staff, and the most delicious food. The crab bisque was divine. A really great evening.

No words needed really as the title says it all, living in Ilkley we are spoiled for choice however the little walk to the outskirts to Pranzo is well worth it, lovely food and welcoming staff, definitely our new favourite place to eat and highly recommend the lobster Ravioli although the lasagna and Cannelloni is also excellent especially if you are hungry

We searched trip advisor for places to eat around the area before we left and this one jumped out at us as it had such great reviews. It did not disappoint. Really nice, albeit small, restaurant, no great frills just a nice feel about the place. Very pleasant friendly staff and great beer. The menu for an Italian restaurant was small which was so much better. Nothing of the normal things you would expect to see so I went away from my normal choices which was amazing. The food was absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our night. Sadly no prawns, which are my wife's favourite, and no Tiramisu which is my favourite, but maybe next time. Definitely recommend.

Visited here for a birthday treat - pre booked table for 5pm. We were the first ones in the restaurant and the waitress was friendly, personable, chatty - no complaints. Me and my girlfriend both ordered starters and mains. Food was delicious (King Prawn Linguine was sooooo good). Both ordered the brownie and ice cream for dessert (also delicious), and we both literally said after eating that we were excited to come back. HOWEVER... this is where the problems started. Upon finishing our desserts, the plates were left on the table for at least 15 mins after we had finished; bearing in mind there were no more than 4 other tables in at this point, and three waitresses. A bit annoying, but not the end of the world, especially seeing as the food was spot on. Then, the blonde waitress who had initially been really friendly and nice when first serving us, comes over and explains that they are going to need the table back.. as if we were holding them up. Quite rude. Got a bit frustrated at this point, considering we’d been sat staring at dirty plates for nearly 20 minutes, so I made her aware that we’ve been sat there waiting for the plates to be collected. Paid and left immediately. The service in the last 25 minutes of our visit turned what would have been an amazing experience into a first and last visit. Wont be returning, and genuinely is a shame because the food is delicious. Sorry to the chefs, because you outdid yourselves. But I can’t rate above 3 because of the bad service at the end.

Lovely food, great personable service but beers too expensive. We have been 4 times now to Pranzo over the last couple of years. The food and service are always excellent but I have to object now to the prices of the lagers - £4.90 for a pint of draught lager and £5.90 for a 500ml bottle of Sicilian lager. These prices are too much. I note there is a sister restaurant in Harrogate, also called Pranzo. The menus are sadly different as I had seen the Harrogate menu and assumed it was the same as the Ilkley one, I was disappointed to find the item I was looking forward to choosing was not on the Ilkley menu.Having said all this, the food is lovely, portions are substantial and the staff very chatty and considerate. Possibly… Certainly the warm welcome to this small local Italian bistrot kicks off the evening to a great start. Emily and the rest of the team will take great care of you. You’ll get good wine recommendations to accompany your home made focaccia to soak up some balsamico and olive oil while you peruse the menu. We tried the lobster ravioli in a rich cream sauce as well as the truffle ravioli - both brilliant and substantially filled with choice ingredients. We rounded off with the lemon and pine kernel tart with vanilla ice cream. Subtle and delicious. A hidden gem in the Ben Rhydding area of Ilkley. But keep it under your hat…

Had a lovely Lasagne but the only downside was that the middle of it was a little dry and didn’t have enough Tomato Sauce. The Italian Bread was great and the Tiramisu was also great too but the only downside was that there was a lot of mascarpone and little sponge fingers. The service was great too.

Our first visit & not disappointed. Great service (thank you Emily in particular) & food. Not cheap (with wine) but worth it. Will certainly visit again and would happily recommend

I’m not one for leaving reviews, but really had to for this.We took our two young children (5 and 10) for a treat this evening. Nothing was too much for the staff, they tweaked the menu to fit with our children (who can be a little fussy - particularly our 5 year old) - and they really enjoyed the food. Both the food and the service was excellent. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection - I was raised on Italian cuisine, with an Italian stepdad, and visited Italy - the food here at Pranzo is exceptional - with a service to match.Thanks

Absolutely fantastic food!! Crab crostini to start and the king prawn linguine is probably the best I have had. Very fresh! Emily’s friendliness and hospitality was second to none. Well worth a visit 👍👍xx

Amazing food....no really this is top drawer food. I had tiger prawns In a garlic and chilli glaze and they were to die for. For main the lasagne (which is surprisingly easy to mess up) was insane, the mozzarella crust was crisp while the filling was amazing. Staff super attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would go again for definitely. Oh and they have Morretti on tap!

Best Italian I've in to in this country for years. Staff very helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back again. The starter of mussels which I was lead to believe we were the first to have we're amazing as was all our meal. Thank you.

Lovely family meal out to celebrate my mother in laws birthday, excellent service waitresses were friendly, attentive and polite and knew a lot about the menu their recommendations were spot on. Really enjoyed the meal, ambience was relaxed. Will definitely go again.

Pranzo staff are going against government rules, putting customers at risk staff are not wearing masks. That and the overuse of salt ruined my visit. Won’t be going again.

I was really looking forward to my visit here after hearing such great reviews, I wasn't disappointed! Received a really warm welcome and service was excellent throughout the meal. The portions were extremely generous and my dish of truffle oil ravioli was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go again, thank you for a lovely lunch!

This place is amazing. The food is tremendous just so good fresh and tasty. Vety nice interior and do their best with Covid distancing. Great staff. We absolutely love this place

just all round excellent meal and great service from our server, Emily. We had the Arancini special and a burrata on bread, both of which were excellent. main course of goat cheese salad and the lasagne were tasty and plentiful.

We were thrilled to see Pranzo reopen its doors finally this week after such a difficult few months and couldn’t wait to get back to our local. Marco and his staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. The interior has been revamped and has a more grown up, restaurant vibe. We had the garlic prawns and crab crostini for starters and the sea bass and cannelloni for mains - all absolutely delicious, as always. We are really looking forward to taking the rest of the family for lunch next Saturday!

We had a nice chilled meal here the day before the second national lockdown. The food and service were great- would definitely return.

Had two lovely evenings recently at Pranzo. I often chose Sea Bass if I eat out and can definitely say my Sea Bass, with Mediterranean salsa and fondant potatoes was the best I’ve had. A delicious starter of King Prawns, in garlic chilli butter and toasted focaccia bread as well. Lovely ambience and great service. Will very much look forward to returning when able to.

Really enjoyed our dinner here, we had burrata to start, and king prawn linguini and spicy sausage cannelloni for mains which were all delicious! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and we both felt safe during these uncertain pandemic times. Definitely visit when you can!

Went for a meal early doors yesterday. The food was beautiful, the staff were attentive and very helpful in deciding which dishes to recommend. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend going.

We visited on a Tuesday evening. The food was beautiful, we had the garlic bread and the prawns to start.Followed by the beef shin pasta, the parma ham pizza and a rocket salad. Then finished off the meal with a nutella chocolate brownie.All fantastic, couldn't fault anything and we look forward to our next visit. One of the best independent Italian restaurants I have visited.

I ate here a few weeks ago and had the best evening. The food was delicious, I couldn’t fault a single thing about it! Pasta was cooked perfectly with my friend getting the lasagne (wow!). This truly is a hidden gem in Ilkley and I highly recommend paying them a visit. Service was attentive but not too intrusive, so thank you to the two girls that served us! We will be back again soon.

Firstly I was disappointed that The menu in the restaurant was different to the menu shown online. I was so looking forward to the dishes I had seen on their website. I ordered the pesto mushroom bruschetta and expected fresh pan fried mushrooms. What arrived was more of a salty mushroom and pesto paste on over toasted bread. My lasagne was good but the brownie dessert tasted like cheap chocolate. Such a shame as the service is great. Not an average restaurant but could be improved.

Are here one evening with my husband food was hot and tasty I am just missing the bigger menu (this is why I rated 4/5 stars rather than 5) that used to be on the wall as I think it was more varied but appreciate places are adapting to become take outs too just think the restricted menu could be more varied. I will re-emphasise though that the food was lovely!

Eaten here a couple of times before with girl friends and always had lovely meals. dined here on Saturday with husband and friends and all agreed brilliant little Italian serving non pretentious authentic food. Great value for money and the service is brilliant.

Another fabulous evening at Pranzo where despite the world being very different makes you feel at home and relaxed. The food is second to none and the seafood linguine was absolutely amazing. Fantastic laid back alfresco dining at Pranzo yesterday. A great Southern Italian menu and the authentic flavours of dishes chosen really shone through. Is it the authentic ingredients or method in the kitchen...?? Definitely both.Wine recommendations very good & paired with mains well. My boyfriend and I visited Pranzo Italian after a reservation at another restaurant had been cancelled. After I had tried to book lots of other places in Ilkley which told me they had no availability, the staff at Pranzo were very accommodating and managed to fit us in. I am so happy the other table was cancelled now!! The food was incredible, definitely the best Italian in the local area and staff were so attentive and friendly, even with the Covid restrictions in place. The menu is slightly smaller than other Italians in the area but to me this only means higher quality meals - which you can definitely tell from the taste! Can't wait to go back here, thank you so much staff at Pranzo!

The food and service was exceptional! We had a really lovely time however there seemed to be no air conditioning and our meal was on perhaps one of the hottest/muggiest days of the year which was quite uncomfortable. Despite this we had a lovely time!

So glad it’s back open again even with Covid measures in place. It’s just such good food. Fresh tasty well prepared. Nice casual bistro type venue with great staff. I cannot rate it highly enough. The spicy sausage cannoli is worth a visit on its own. The seafood linguini is also highly recommended. It’s a great place. Get it booked you will not be disappointed. .

This is a very nice Italian restaurant situated in Ben Rhydding , a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Ilkley.The menu is varied and reasonably priced for the area.We stopped and sat outside and enjoyed two superb coffees, one Cappuccino and a Flat White, with two complimentary glasses of water, which were appreciated on a hot day.We were very well looked after by Sophie and will be calling back to eat soon as the food looked very good.

The restaurant is very homely and warm with a modern feel, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The food was beautiful, rich and full of flavour and all at an amazing price. I had the sausage cannelloni and my partner had the seafood linguini. Both were very big portions which were absolutely gorgeous. The desserts were also extremely tasty. The service was also lovely. Staff were polite and helpful. 10/10

Finally decided it was time to venture out for dinner after 3 weeks of being back at work 6 days a week. Couldn't have chosen a better place. Service was great. Everything felt clean, fresh and comfortable with new tables and chairs, a freshened up menu and plenty of space. We shared olives, cheesy garlic bread and prawns to start then both decided on seabass with more prawns along with a side of garlic roast potatoes and a parmesan rocket salad. All cooked amazingly, especially the sea bass which was the best its ever been. Tasty, flavoursome, well seasoned. Finished off with the new recipe brownie and ice cream. Amazing job Pranzo team!

Well what can I say, after three months of takeouts from Pranzo only we were finally able to sit back in at the restaurant although I did book a table outside The service was exemplary as usual and the food, why does it always taste so much better when your there in the restaurant.. maybe that had something to do with the delicious bottle of pink fizz Cheers to being back open and I look forward to lunch on Saturday!

We have had lunch at Pranzo a couple of times and got a couple of takeouts during lockdown with their pick up service. The food is always great wether you are eating in or taking out. We’ve had most of the dishes and it’s amazing food - specially the lobster ravioli! Highly recommend

My family and I got a takeaway last weekend from Pranzo. We got a couple of different pastas, a flatbread pizza and two limoncello cheesecakes. When we got home the food was still piping hot, it was delicious and full of flavour - it was amazing to have restaurant quality food at home! We can’t wait to be able to visit Pranzo again but it the meantime it’s brilliant to have the option of a tasty takeaway from our favourite restaurant.

We loved visiting this place pre lockdown and were so pleased to hear that’s it was doing takeaway. We have been working our way through the takeaway meal and have yet to be disappointed!

Delicious Italian takeaway, still just as impressive as dining in the restaurant. We had the cheesy garlic bread, a lasagne and a lobster ravioli and enjoyed everything.

Fantastic takeaway food, just like eating in the restaurant each time we get it! The spicy sausage cannelloni is wonderful, and the tomato basil and mascarpone rigatoni is a delicious vegetarian option - the portions are also excellent value for money. My family and I have also purchased the home pizza kits which was excellent fun and they turned out great! We can’t resist ordering a couple of pranzo brownies each time too, they’re our guilty pleasure! Can’t wait for the next order!!

Love this place! Even during lockdown Pranzo is the only place we have been using for takeaways - and when they reopen we will be one of the first back through the doors!A given for every order we have placed during lockdown has been the lobster ravioli and the king prawn tagliatelle :) the only difficulty of the order is to argue over the third option!! Suffice it to say everything we have eaten has been freshly prepared, and delicious! Cannot wait for Pranzo to open up its doors again!

Pranzo’s takeaway has been the absolute highlight of our lockdown menu. The spicy sausage cannelloni is mine and my husbands favourite; it is so delicious I actually think about it all day before I order it for us! Ordered takeaway last weekend. I've always loved the food at Pranzo, the Lobster Ravioli has always been one of my favourites and I'm so glad I can keep my addiction going throughout lockdown! Can't wait to come again next week!

Since lockdown started I have really missed visiting my favourite Italian restaurant but they have really gone above and beyond to look after their customers during this time! I recently had a takeaway as I was desperate for my Pranzo fix during lockdown. The pizza kit was a fun activity & very nice. Also ordered a lasagne & asked the guys to put some chilli oil on which I usually do myself in the restaurant which they did for me. Same Pranzo 5 star quality and I cant wait until it's open again fully to sit down and see the fab team there. Good work guys & thank you again for hooking me up with my fave food during lockdown

What a treat of a take out. We ordered for 4 of us and were very late minute. Service was exceptional and the food was sensational. We’ll be ordering again next week.

We have had three weeks on the trot of takeout from my fave restaurant in Ilkley.. lobster ravioli is a given and always one of the dishes chosen, the mushroom and pancetta pasta is to die for and usually a third dish that is slightly different.. always tasty can’t wait to get back into the restaurant after lockdown!! Last Saturday evening we ordered a takeaway for 4 including Lasagna, Spicy Sausage Cannelloni and Mushroom Rigatoni as well as Cheesy Garlic Bread and 2 desserts. Exactly what we needed after another week of lockdown! Looking forward to collecting another lovely tasty meal soon.

What a Friday night ! If this is isolation I’ll take it every week - kicking off with fantastic pizza and garlic bread delivered to our doorstep by the lovely people from Pranzo. Gorgeous food and left us feeling very happy.

Myself and my girlfriend visited pranzo last Friday and were really impressed.The lobster ravioli was incredible,my other half went for the mushroom pasta dish which I tried and was full of flavour. The house red was given as a suggestion to try which was a geeat shout. Well done to the team at Pranzo for great service and amazing food

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Classic homemade Italian food, the spicy sausage cannelloni is our favourite. Everything we have ordered has been delicious, pizzas are great too! Nice atmosphere for a small place and interior is lovely. Will definitely be back!

Staff were accommodating when I asked if I could order a salad...on arrival the salad available online was not on the menu. A delicious salad was prepared for me and all the dishes that were ordered by other visitors looked wonderful! My friend ordered the Arancini which seemed to have the consistency of a Spanish croquette...she wasn't keen on the unusual texture but overall a lovely lunch.

Great lunch, simple but delicious dishes. Great wine, the house red for 17 quid a bottle was real value. Deffo be back!

Absolutely amazing! I cannot fault Pranzo, from their amazing customer service to the quality of food! They very kindly helped me organise a Christmas supper & they did not disappoint! Everyone loved their meals, the wine went down very well & the service was brilliant! I think every one of us has or will be going back! The Best Italian!

Came in for lunch today with my sister. The food is the best Italian I've had, the arancini was delicious and the lobster ravioli as a main was to the same standard. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back again!

Had lunch at Pranzo before Christmas. The restaurant was full (a mix of people having coffees/lunch). Bumped into several friends whilst there. Utterly delicious food. We had the lasagne which was the best lasagne I have ever had. The chocolate brownie pudding was amazing. Superb customer service - very attentive and warm. Excellent value for money. A real gem of a restaurant. Can't wait to return ASAP. Highly recommend.

I visited Pranzo with my family in December for lunch. The restaurant is small with a cosy vibe and tastefully decorated.

Outstanding food and service from a well mannered and organised team. The food is consistently to a very high standard while also being very reasonably priced. A great local business thats a pleasure to visit time and time again.

We’ve just had one of those really lovely surprises that seem to happen so rarely - we went into a little place to have a coffee and play some cards and later decided to eat. I’m so glad we did. This is the best Italian we’ve had in over 2 years.

Have been here twice this week for group lunches. Generally pretty good, as have been previous experiences, but today had the vegan pizza. It has a VERY thin base, too much glutinous cheese for my taste, and topped with a great number of black half-olives plus a few mushroom and red peppers. Slightly overcooked, so a bit black around the edges and a hard biscuity base. Overall not very appealing to look at or eat. Apparently they buy them in so presumably their regular in-house pizza base must include some non-vegan ingredient.

My wife had been here a couple of times and said how good it was, so one Tuesday after a walk on the moors we took the chance for me to try it, also with a fellow walker. I had booked which was as well as it was busy with a Christmas group, and it was nice to find our table ready with my name on a little slate!

Popped in for an lunch with my mum on a Friday about 1130ish.

We booked a table on a weekday lunchtime for four. A grey November day which was instantly cheered up as we walked into Pranzo. The atmosphere, warm and cosy with a reserved sign on our table complete with name which was lovely and meant we could sit down straight away. A nice touch. The restaurant was busy with small groups - we certainly needed to book. Quickly greeted and a drinks order taken whilst we browsed the menu displayed on a large blackboard on the wall. Lovely choice of pizzas, pasta and tempting specials all at very reasonable prices. You certainly appreciate the value when your food arrives as it is all individually prepared and delicious. My only negative is "why has it taken us so long to visit this absolute gem?" Thank you for coming to Ben Rhydding we will most certainly return.

Stopped by for a light breakfast on a particularity cold morning. Had a toasty Brie, Bacon and Cranberry, and also a ham and cheese croissant. Both hit the spot perfectly. Ill be back here without a doubt for more coffee and delicious breakfast.

My friend hired this restaurant for his 50th and what a fabulous afternoon we had! The service by all the staff were first class, very attentive and always on hand to top up your glass or offer the fantastic tapas that we started with. The salmon and dill pate and spices sausage bruschetta and meatballs were to die for! After the tapas, we then helped ourselves to three large bowls of pasta and sliced pizzas laid out for us. The king prawn linguine and spicy salami pizza slice is what I went for and I didn’t regret it. We had a lovely afternoon and look forward to visiting again for a meal, strongly recommend.

Having Italian in-laws I’m sometimes wary of actually going out for Italian food having such high standards set by our family; but Pranzo did not disappoint!

I popped in for lunch with a friend. I've eaten here a few times before and it did not disappoint, as it was Tuesday we enjoyed the lunch time deal 2 mains and 2 drinks for £15, excellent value. The food was a very generous portion plus the quality and taste of the food was stunning, amazing value! The waitress was a little pushy making us decide quick what we wanted and seemed to be agitated, I’ve not seen her before and never experienced that previously. I will be visiting again soon!

Tasty and good value - prompt and friendly service. Pizza, pasta, sea bass and house wine all excellent. Fried Romaine cabbage excellent. Good ambience and fast wi-fi. Highly recommended.

We have just walked over Ilkley Moor to Pranzo for lunch, we sat outside in the sunshine & had fantastic minestrone soup. Great food & service.

Went to Pranzo for the first time today and had a brilliant time. Hayley greeted us and showed us to our table and was so helpful during our whole visit, recommending both food and drink and everything done with a smile. The whole experience was faultless, will definitely be returning!

Just had delicious fudge tart and hot chocolate as an after school treat, very friendly service and yummy food!

Brought my 12 year old son here for a late Saturday afternoon lunch and we loved it. Very welcoming staff and atmosphere and fantastic pizzas. Especially loved the garlic roast potatoes. Then had the most amazing dessert ever, the milk tart. Was heaven! Would highly recommend. Very authentic Italian cafe. Can’t wait to come again.

Great food and atmosphere . We went here a few weeks ago and had a fantastic experience, so went back. You know what ?? - it was even better. The place was buzzing and with a genuine family feel. Just like the Italian restaurant you aim to find in Florence or Sienna - but it’s in Ben Rhydding. Great portions. Marco and James the chefs are excellent - and Ellie, Eve and Abbey were running front of house - top team. We are booked in again next week.

My husband and I had a rare day off together so we decided to visit Pranzo for a late leisurely lunch.

I visited Pranzo last year and wanted to pop in again to try some new additions to the menu. The pancetta pasta did not disappoint. Loads of flavour and the starters were amazing too washed down with a very nice malbec. Marco and his team have got it right, amazing food and drinks at a very good price. Its no surprise that this little gem has hit number 1 on tripadvisor

We visited on the recommendation of a friend and were very glad we listened to them! Absolutely delicious food, great portion sizes and really accommodating to our little 7month old. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food- we could have eaten everything on the menu, and we’ll be going back to try some more tasty treats.

We finally managed to get to Pranzo after hearing good reviews from family and friends and was not disappointed. We had the pizza platter to start,you could probably have this if you had just popped in for a drink as nibbles

10/10. Top service. Top food. Plenty of it (when your a big lad like me it’s always appreciated. Not over priced. Definitely worth a visit.
