I had veg moussaka, food was delicious but the portion was tiny. In the menu mentioned veg meat but there was not veg meat. Service was very slow.

My Husband and I had a lovely meal at Avli last night. A cosy family run restaurant with great food. The service was friendly and attentive without being over bearing and everyone appeared to genuinely want to be there. We had 2 courses and wine that included some of the nicest hummus and calamari we have ever had. I love that the menu isn't extensive, it's a selection of Greek food done very well.

Avli of Battersea is hands down the best Greek restaurant I’ve tried in London. It proves that great food doesn’t have to be complicated—just simple, delicious, and affordable. The moment you step inside, you’re transported to the first day of a Greek holiday, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I couldn’t resist trying a bit of everything, and every dish was outstanding. The mixed meat platter was absolutely incredible, the moussaka was authentic and flavorful, and the spinach and feta pie quickly became my favorite. Went there for lunch today; I had the Gyros platter and my wife had the Gyros pita wrap. That’s the first time we ever had Chicken gyros, and they were great.

Lunch at Avli of Battersea was excellent!! We ordered 4 pork gyros, a salad and a portion of chips. They even gave us a spanakopitta on the house. Everything was freshly made, ingredients were of great quality and everything tasted excellent!

Avli of Battersea is the perfect place to eat Greek in London. We liked everything, the place is welcoming and the service was kind. Their specialties are really good, now I don't remember exactly the names of the dishes but we liked them all! ☺️ The fact that it has an internal room where you can eat in peace with friends is very convenient. Avli is the best restaurant in London where eat the greek kitchen. Food are amazing, service are great, and the place Is very very nice. We had dinner late on a Monday evening (arrived around 9pm). Very nice little restaurant with a cosy seating area in the back not visible from the street. We were given a delicious starter on the house (flatbread, tzatziki, olives, spinach and cheese quiche) and then had pork and lamb skewers with chips, salad and flatbread on the recommendation of the owner. The food was excellent, portions were generous and the feeling of the restaurant is like being invited into someone’s home. All of the staff were so friendly and kind, we felt very comfortable.

This is the best Greek food I’ve had in London. I went for brunch after the gym and the owner was incredibly friendly. She made me up a massive portion of really tasty, fresh food. It was great value too. The chicken comes all the way from Greece so it’s no wonder it was so authentic. I will be going back as a regular and highly recommend for others to visit too!

I went to this restaurant with my family for breakfast and brunch, and we absolutely loved it. The food was super tasty, with top-quality ingredients straight from Greece. The portions were big enough to keep us full and happy. The owner was so nice and friendly, which made us feel really welcome. They were also so great with my little one (it’s definitely a kid-friendly place). I felt like my son was safe, and they went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and happy. Service like this always makes a difference. The place itself is gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated, they really care about the little details. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Visited this place for the first time on a Sunday. I had a very warm welcome and helped with everything I needed. It is very cosy inside and looking at their menu - their prices are very reasonable considering how delicious the food is. Had the banana blueberry smoothie- 10/10 and I also had their feta and spinach pie - this was way over 10/10, so delicious, even though it wasn’t as warm when I brought it home. This is definitely a place to stop by and grab something yummy 👌🏼

This is one of the best places I’ve been to in London. Incredible food - we ordered the Greek salad and the chicken Gyros which tasted so authentic and fresh. The owners/staff are just so lovely!!! Definitely will not be the last time I go there. It has become one of my go to spots 🥰🩷

Time and again without fail Avli offerings are delicious and a people watcher’s dream. It’s a welcome change of pace from the manic corporate/consumer vibe of the power station up the road. Portions and deliciousness favour this place that’s only a five min away from the hyper priced get them in and out the door policy of the power station restaurants. Friends from Amsterdam and I had a brilliant Saturday morning here today.

Food is awful! I ordered on Deliveroo and not only they sent me the wrong item (gyros instead of pork skewer) without any onions or tomato) just some disgusting smelly cold meat in a pitta and a smelly chicken skewer! I binned it all. After30min waiting and £20. Never again! And as a Greek myself this shop wouldn't dare selling this rubbish in Greece. Disgusting. STOP CALLING ME. I DONT WANT TO DISCUSS WITH YOU MY REVIEW. THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE TODAY WITH YOU. MY PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. SHAME ON YOU ON THAT RESPONSE.

This place is great! They have a simple and short menu (a good thing in my opinion), the owner - who was lovely - was super-helpful and happy to make recommendations. She tells me that as much of the raw ingredients as possible are imported from Greece and I'm pretty sure much of the food is freshly made in house. This place is a real find, a lovely locally owned restaurant amongst a sea of chain outlets near Battersea power station. The prices were sensible too. We'll be back and if you have any sense, you'll visit too!

This lovely little cafe is situated 10 min from Battersea Power Station. We ordered the pork wrap, pork gyro and chicken gyro (plate). To our surprise the chicken gyro is very succulent and juicy. I particularly enjoyed the flavour of the chips, which reminds me of the Japanese 7-spice but without the heat - very tasty indeed! The plate portion is big enough for my husband who always have big appetite. You could tell this is a family business. A lady is very welcoming and apologise to every table about the wait and a gentleman even treated our 3 year old a delicacy. We all had a bite and it was crunchy and flavourful! (Forgot to take picture). It seems that all tables with a kid get one as a treat (not 100% sure though). It’s definitely a great find!

Such a lovely little gem in Battersea. We asked for dish of the day which was moussaka. The best moussaka I have ever had ! And the Greek drinks were lovely- the cherry pop. The lady that works there clearly has a heart of gold. Will be coming back the next time we are in Battersea !

Very good gyros best in Battersea

Monster sized gyros, so good and not greasy! We had the chicken gyros and the homemade spanakopita and they were just as good or better than Greece. Also great iced coffee. Looking forward to coming back.
