Amazing presentation. Excellent flavour, and great vibe!

We loved our breakfasts at Cafe Tamra. The service was smooth and speedy even though it was a busy weekend. The quality of the food is superb. I particularly enjoyed my “Full English”!

Perfect place for brunch in Northcote Road.

This is a local go to spot for us. The people who work there are all so lovely, it has a cozy vibe suitable for anyone. And the food it SOOO GOOOD!! It’s all proper hand-crafted with care and it so delicious. For brunch I highly recommend the full Lebanese and poached eggs!!

We stopped into cafe Tamra for a quick brunch and had a great experience. We each ordered the French toast, which was topped with strawberries and caramelized bananas. The service size itself was just enough French toast- not too much where you’re stuffed to the brim, but not so little that you’re leaving unsatisfied. We had to wait in the queue outside for a bit, but that’s par for the course for brunch on a weekend so we had no issue with waiting.

Lovely place for breakfast. Very good service and very nice breakfast. Range of breakfasts from full English to healthy bowls.

Great food and delightful service. Highly recommend! Try ANYTHING with smashed Avo, or add it to your brunch without a second thought! Don’t forget to try the fluffy pancakes

I've only got positive things to say about the place! The food was excellent - there's loads to choose from, whether you're a meat eater or vegan. I can see why there are queues here on the weekend! I didn't see the bill, so I can't comment on the prices. I will definitely return.

All the dishes looked amazing - avocado and chorizo toast was a perfect balance of flavour and healthy preparation. Excellent friendly staff!!

Foragers brunch was amazing, definitely recommended, you’ll never go wrong with chicken and avo. Their berry smoothie was good too, but the pancakes were a lil hard, not as fluffy as imagined… be there early to avoid the queue especially on weekends! (Updated) they no longer having the Foragers anymore 😢😢😢 tried the chicken shawarma this time- the flavour is there but the pita was just way too dry and hard ;(

Good lunch for myself and son, decent coffee. The very tasty Turkish eggs were only slightly let down by some very ordinary bread.

Good basic fayre for breakfast - all the healthy stuff - on the Northcote road. Busy on sunny weekends!! Was first in so lacked atmosphere but staff were welcoming.

Used to have great bread, but the bread is now a terrible bland, grey small chunk.

Tamra is our local go to for an all day brunch or just a quick bite/coffee.. We recently had brunch for lunch, and it was as always effortlessly good. The food was absolutely yummy, the service was friendly, and the ingredients were fresh. I love how brunch can be enjoyed all day, and it was made even better with a glass of fizz. Betty our Boston Terrier was very welcomed too! :))

The best brunch I’ve had in Wandsworth! Brilliant little cafe with fun and chilled atmosphere and cute orange chairs. Super friendly and relaxed waiter. I got the avocado toast which was DELICIOUS and the dishes pictured which my friends got were also great. Will come back again!

Finally, a great café in London for brunch! With a one-of-a-kind menu for a unique experience, they offer an amazing mix of flavors in many different dishes. Obviously, I will be there for brunch every weekend.

Very nice place. Lots of choices on menu. There is siting in and out. Is warmer so if you want to sit outside need to wait until the table is free.

I had the French toast and it was DELICIOUS. It’s only served on the weekends and I think that’s to give the other options on the menu a chance because it’s that good. There was a little bit of a wait, but on a Saturday morning that’s understandable. Friendly staff, quick service despite how busy they were. I thought the prices were fair.

Not good. Poor service. Food was very nice though! New menu not very new just an excuse to raise the prices… Please change the staff, they insist on not writing down the order so wrong meals are a given. Would avoid - Flotsam and Jetsam nicer!!

Overpriced and portions have become ridiculously small. Pancakes were disappointing too. Edit (to reply to the owner’s comment below): I wouldn’t normally give 1 as I want to support small businesses in my area but put yourself in my shoes: had brunch for one and ended up with a £40 bill - still hungry and had only bite of the pancakes. No one asked for feedback - if your male waiter had asked me, I may have not commented on here. He didn’t. I understand the need to increase prices and don’t mind it but there should be a limit to portion control - today’s case was extreme (I paid for extra chicken but had tiny pieces added, only one piece of bread and even the piece of butter was tiny!). I didn’t expect the American style pancakes to be so thick and dry. On this one, maybe I should have asked before ordering so I’m partly accountable but the male waiter today saw that I only had one bite and didn’t bother to ask if everything was ok. He seemed pretty unbothered and wasn’t engaging at all hence why I ended up not saying anything and paying anyway. He should have not charged me for it. So I don’t think rating my experience today as 1 was unfair. I have come in the past and really enjoyed it but things have cleared changed drastically (the couple next to me told your lovely female waitress that they felt the portion was too small too and were surprised so I’m not the only one).

Lovely little café with a big brunch menu, so many options and quite reasonably priced. You can’t book and we had to queue for about 20-30 minutes to get a table for Sunday brunch, but the staff was well organised and friendly and given how busy the place was that was really not bad in terms of waiting time. Inside is quite small but cosy. The coffee was good and the Flat White had the perfect silky smooth milk texture. The food was delicious, I chose the Tricoloré brunch and we got some beans on the side, everything tasted really fresh and the portion was generous. The service was great throughout, the staff were so lovely and we didn’t feel rushed to order or pay at any point. Will be back!

This place is not for me! Not sure I undrstand being so popular, the place is stuffy and smelly, the staff is not welcoming or smiley ( sorry but you chose to work in hospitality, at least you make an effort). The food and drinks are nothing special and overpriced! Sorry but NO!!

Such a lovely place with great food and coffee. Ed and Daisy are always so welcoming and provide wonderful service every time I pop in!

This is the best kept secret. I have never in my life experienced food as good as this. The food is reasonably priced but it is amazing and taste. I highly recommend going there for breakfast. Try the french toast with a mask of pone and caramelized bananas.

Very good food. Generous portions and not too bad prices. Service was a bit slow because it was very busy. You can't book. Next visit, the pancakes were a bit dry so we asked for some cream. However, they brought us a whole new dish which was above and beyond.

Great food and huge selection. Limited on drinks. Busy but great vibe and service. Sweetcorn fritters and halloumi and chorizo are a big win. They are friendly too and happy to go off menu for kids.

Found it by accident, and what a find. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, absolutely the best Dirty Chai I have ever had, and they add a little twist for me. Food is good, you have to try the carrot cake. and will visit every time we are in town from Kent.

Best brunch in the area, hands down! You can't book and always have to queue for around 10/20mins on weekends but it is absolutely worth it!!

Heard about this cute cafe for a while and finally managed to go. They don't accept bookings but queue was very reasonable taking into account its fame and popularity. Menu is simple, classic brunch but with some little twists to every dish. Food tasted fresh and wholesome, service was kind and friendly. Was not disappointed!!

I'm coeliac, and the staff at Cafe Tamra were very accommodating and helpful. A good portion of the menu can be made gluten free! Also a cute place to just sit and read.

One of the best breakfast places around South London.

I think the restaurant has got complacent as they have so many people queueing up to eat here. We're locals who have enjoyed eating here before, but our experience wasn't great today. Having waited for a table on the street, we ordered as soon as we sat down. Our order didn't appear for over 30 minutes and when people who came after us were being served food we asked where our order was. We were told by the waitress that it was next in line and the kitchen was very busy, but when our food turned up, the food was cold. They were also accompanied the tiniest pieces of toast and a slither of butter. To their credit, they offered to make the food again and supposedly gave us a 15% discount on the bill.

Very small portions and quite tasteless especially for a middle eastern restaurant. The falafels are way too oily and tasteless unfortunately and the hummus is also so far from tasty. Scrambled eggs were super basic too. Also there was no flexibility on swapping veggie side options.

Very rude staff. After queueing for almost 30 minutes to get in and being given standard food with slow service, when we were given the bill, the waiter was hovering over us, I said ‘can we have a minute please?’ And he stormed off then and we discussing us with a waitress which I found extremely rude and unacceptable when we were settling an £80 breakfast bill! He sent over the female staff member to take our payment as he knew we saw him moaning about him which was cowardly of him! Honestly, don’t waste your time and be fooled by the queue! Go elsewhere! The couple on the table next to us also complained about their meal too.

With so much expectations about this place after a terrible and disappointing experience we had plus the table beside us, I’ll never ever go back again and do not recommend to anyone Food was off and smelly the service was bad and lack of common sense etc…

One of our favourite places to eat. The shakshuka and kedgeree are great, and even the avocado on toast is much better than a simple dish has any right to be (they've added spices and some lime, i think). They are dog friendly inside and out. They have a strong coffee game, too. They are very busy on weekends unless you arrive at opening .

Amazing banana bread. The French toast is to die for. Courgette fritters have super chunky onions in them but they are ok. Quesadillas are lovely. Good atmosphere and a bit of a wait for the food but it was well worth it.

We ordered 2 chicken and avo sandwiches which did not say were toasted on the menu. We were served a disgusting mound of lukewarm green ‘mush’ with horrible pieces of chicken on toasted sourdough. Having returned these as not as described and quite frankly awful, we chose 2 slices of walnut cake After a long wait when we tried to eat them found them hard and icy cold as if half frozen. Clearly we did not wish to risk eating these either. The whole experience was made worse by being asked to pay for half of what was inedible food

Tried this today for brunch and the food was so good! Filling and tasty, so I would come again. Pricing was fair too. The staff are welcoming and friendly. You can dine indoors or out. I didn't bring my dog but like many northcote eateries, you're pooch can visit as well. Only thing I'd say, it's small and quaint, which means if you're tall or a larger person, it might be tight for you but don't let that stop you...see this cute place for yourself 😊

I had my first experience at this cute little place today. The full English was too small a portion for my boyfriend as he eats a lot like a machina, but he said it was very tasty!! However, my mascarpone pancakes were more than enough for me, it was also very delicious, but there was too much mascarpone and not enough berries. The staff are great, it's the kind of place you want to go back to x

It's a nice dog friendly cafe. Staff and customers were very nice to my puppy when we went there.

No pude probar este lugar a pesar de estar ansioso por verlo. Me acabo de mudar a Clapham y quería descubrir los mejores lugares para el brunch. Mi novia y yo dimos un paseo por Northcote Road un domingo por la mañana, sin saber realmente dónde comer o qué comer, simplemente dando un paseo.De hecho, íbamos a tomar un Pret hasta que vimos que este lugar estaba bastante concurrido, con muchas mesas en la calle que estaban llenas de gente y decidimos intentarlo dado que esto es una buena señal.Bueno, quedamos bastante impresionados. Tuve el aguacate, huevos y chorizo, que estaba bien, pero no se compara con lo que pidió mi novia. Mi palabra, eso estuvo bien. Tuvimos un súper brunch en el Café Tamra, me encantaron mis huevos escalfados con aguacate y masa agria. Los cafés también eran buenos, realmente encantadores y calientes. Packed little place and for good reason. The food is incredible with great detail on spices and presentation. The staff even let us take a corner table to we could put our bags out of the way. Great selection of things for vegetarians and non, and also a lovely specials menu which was incredible. The little touches like water brought to your table and the area itself (you could sit outside with a heater as well) make this cafe not one to miss. Worth coming from Zurich to be here.

The halloumi and falafel Supergreen salad was absolutely fantastic! The flavours of the ingredients were 5 start with an evenly matched dressing. We also had the banana and syruo pancakes which were incredible ! Cannot wait to return! dressing! We f dressing! I cannot wait to return.

Cafe Tamra has something for everyone! Well made coffee, a kids menu, and the best brunch I have ever had in England! I would highly recommend you visit this cafe. It does get very busy on the weekend.

Bonito lugar, buena comida, buen personal, la comida es un poco cara pero feliz de pagar por el sabor, la calidad y la presentación se siente un poco lujoso, lo cual es algo bueno en mi opinión, pero cobran 1. 50 para babychino es un poco ridículo en mi opinión (incluso los hoteles de 5 estrellas lo hacen gratis) No estoy diciendo que debería ser gratis, pero es solo leche, hemos visitado varios lugares, la mayoría de los lugares cobran 50 p.

My son, who recently moved to SW London, was tasked with the job of finding somewhere nearby for him, me, his aunt, and our cockapoo, for Sunday breakfast, before the rest of us set off on our respective long journies home. He did VERY good! Cafe Tamra is AMAZING! It was a bit drizzly, with a little wind. Inside the cafe was already full at 10am, so we chose to sit outside, under cover. Got there just in time as people started being turned away and asked to come back later, or wait ifcthey prefered. I had poached eggs on homemade bread and avocado. Delicious. My son and sister had the Royal eggs Benedict. Again. Gorgeous. I asked if they could cook some chicken for our dog. And they were happy to do so. And he got a treat while he was waiting. Will DEFINITELY go there again - and again - when I next visit my son. 100 % recommended.

We had tried so many times to have brunch at Tamra’s and the queue was always too long. Yesterday we finally made it, but it turned out that he place was very mediocre. I had the superfood salad. The haloumi was burnt and did not feel freshly cooked at all. The broccoli were hard to chew and the beetroots has no taste . The signature plate had 2 burnt eggs. Unfortunately, the waiters did not make an impression either. The quesadilla did not come as ordered and waiter wouldn’t even ask the chef if you could modify the peaches eggs.

Went for brunch with my family, everyone had the asparagus special and said it was fantastic, I had the stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and couldn’t fault it! Excellent service too!

Great for dogs, they welcome them with open arms! good coffee, good cakes, treats for the pupster. :) havent eaten anything else there though.

Nos encanta Tamra, es nuestro lugar favorito para comer en Northcote Road. El menú es imaginativo y tiene un montón de opciones saludables en el sabor. El personal es siempre muy amable y en días soleados tienen mesas fuera, en el frente y en verano incluso se abren al jardín en la parte trasera.

Llegó para el brunch con un hijo de mi pareja y su pareja el jueves. Tuve el libanés desayuno. Excepcional. Menú nicho excepcional. Todo el mundo disfrutó mucho de sus comidas. El personal era maravilloso.

Me encantó mi desayuno al igual que mi amigo. Tanto nuestro café y chai lattes eran increíbles. El servicio era bueno, especialmente teniendo en cuenta lo lleno que era un domingo por la mañana. Nunca me sentí agobiada o incómodo como si a veces no en un lugar brunch de cadena.

My wife and I have tried 4 breakfast places in the area and Cafe Tamra is our new favourite! Their menu is Middle Eastern-inspired which adds some really exciting flavours and scents. I had Egyptian Poached Eggs which were so good, and we finished with the toasted banana bread which was amazing. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely breakfast here but bit annoyed when the bill came. First, items added that should have been part of the meal or were small requests. Second, when it came to paying the bill the girl asked if I would be paying the service charge. When I said no, which she clearly heard, she asked again! I don't think its appropriate to put customers on the spot like this (especially when you've got the bill wrong) I've never experienced it anywhere before and I didn't like it which is why I said no. You should hand over the machine and leave it to the customer's discreation. I did pay a tip for the record but not their full ask which would have brought the total to over 40 quid for breakfast for 2 with 2 coffees and a tea - quite expensive for a coffee shop. Overall the meal was nice but we felt they were overly keen to extract money from us.

A lovely spot for brunch on a Sunday with friends. It was packed when we first arrived but were given blankets whilst we waited (5 mins). The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even let me charge my iphone which had inevitably died by 11am. Service was quick. They didn't charge extra for substituting the sourdough bread for gluten free (their gluten free bread is divine). Lots of options on the menu for gf/df. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I recommend the hot chocolate!

Fuimos para el desayuno, hace un par de semanas, nos llevaron a una mesa y menú traído. No estaba lleno. Me senté durante 20 minutos esperando que alguien tome mi pedido y nadie se molestó. Así que fuimos y le preguntó a la hasta si necesitaba a la orden para que me dijeron "no hay alguien más y toma su pedido "sábado de regreso y esperamos otros 5 minutos. Decidimos ir a otro sitio. Ni siquiera llegar a pedir un café. Terrible servicio terrible.

First and last visit, which as a local is disappointing. Food was bland, service was curt and cold. Retail is about making people who are spending their hard earned cash feel valued; Tamra left us feeling taken for granted. Having looked at the bill after leaving (entirely my fault) it says "our service charge is always discretionary". It is not, it is added to the bill and included in the total that is put into the card machine with no discussion. If it is discretionary as you claim make it possible for the customer to easily decide if they want to give another 12% before the bill is settled.
