Always good value with options for two pies, pasties or sausage rolls for a quid, and just as tasty as the more expensive fodder at Greggs. Staff however seem to expect you to know what you want to order as you get to the till without giving you time to see the choices available. There are often too many other customers between you and the goods on offer, with many pies and pasties right in front of the service area so you don't see them until you are right in the payment area. Very impatient tone.

Can't believe how many times I have walked past a Pound Bakery and not even looked in. Friend loves them so today I succumbed. Excellent sandwich and couldn't resist the vanilla slices for a total of £2?!!

What’s not to like! Excellent value for money, better quality food than Greggs, my only gripe is that you must make sure you have enough vegetarian sausage rolls!

This bakery provides quick food for local working people and in my opinion their pasty fillings are the most delicious I have had

Stopped by as we were shopping today with our young son and cannot rate the quality of the food highly enough. We lived in South East Asia for a number of years and this food certainly lived up to what we were missing. The beef rendang had so much flavour and the banana balls were a lovely way to finish it off (think deep fried banana bread for those new to Malay food). Absolutely recommend

I thought I was getting a panini or wrap as I had never been here. So so good. Sourdough sandwich with side salad and the "proper" chips. Food heaven!!

Really great night and a special shout out for Max, who made my wife’s night with a special cocktail. Max was attentive through the night, engaging in our conversation and generally being a great host. Will definitely be returning!!!!

I cannot praise the Plough highly enough. Rare to find a place that has brilliant friendly service and the best food all in the most beautiful building. The beer is spot on. Do visit you will not disappointed. Update Ate this Thursday eve 24th Oct. The staff could not be more attentive. The food was exceptional The Plough is a rare find and it is so much more than the sum of it's parts.
