Awesome place for American style pancakes, waffles and burgers. Great quick service.

The food and their service is awesome and mind pleasing.

Avoid going there for breakfast if at all possible! We went there this morning for breakfast and ordered Breakfast at Tiffany’s, two normal and one Vegetarian, with 3 English Breakfast teas. We ended up getting 3 PG Tips teas which were not the normal PG tips and were extremely weak. We complained as to why we were not given English Breakfast teas as the tea we were given was undrinkable and was told that this is the tea that was served as English Breakfast. We explained that they should not state English Breakfast tea if they were going to give PG Tips. We asked it they had an alternative English Breakfast tea and was given the menu to look at for other teas. The others were herbal or fruit teas which we did not want. The eggs were overdone, the pancakes were rubbery, my friends sausage was so overdone it was black, the bacon was so thick and hard! All in all it was the worst breakfast we have had and to top it all we were even charged for the tea we did sent back. They should stop serving breakfast and stick to the waffles and burgers as they certainly cannot do a good breakfast! We will not be returning as the experience we had, was really awful. It is a shame we did NOT take photos to post as they would have shown why I had to leave such a bad review!

Great desserts and friendly staff!

Been several times with my kids for desert treats. Good service and lovely food and reasonably priced. I'm so happy Potty's is in Cockfosters, it's so refreshing to have a place that is kid friendly and have a unique selling point and style, in what's becoming a sea of carbon copy over priced swanky cafe's it's a little gem.

We stopped here part way through a (rainy) family walk to Jak’s Lake and Monkton Hadley. 3 adults and 3 kids, slightly soggy and very hungry. Potty’s Diner is absolutely perfect for a family with young children who want a relaxed vibe and have a (very) sweet tooth! Our waitress was simply wonderful - so kind and patient and the kids loved her. It was particularly fun for the kids to choose the topping on their pancake / waffle - in fact a big part of the experience. The art work / look of the shop just makes it different from the glut of generic cafes around the Cockfosters area. I particularly loved the decor - American diner-esque but without being cheesy. My brother in law had the cheeseburger and fries and he said it was fantastic. My sister had savoury wraps and was also impressed. If you have kids under 15 and want a weekend / after school treat, this is a fabulous place to visit. I wouldn’t necessarily go on a quiet date here.

Great addition to Cockfosters since October, good food, fiendly staff, well themed and its quite busy. The potters bar branch up the road is also good too! Overall, 5 stars

Easy access, Very nice atmosphere, kind staff, Using fresh ingredients you eat a nice breakfast with aromatic coffee, also many options to eat breakfast or lunch.

Enjoyed a wonderful burger in a nice friendly environment! Excellent value and fantastic service! 10/10

The food was amazing!! Really nice restaurant. It was my first time trying the Cockfosters one, I have tried the potters bar diner. The milkshakes were fantastic, everything tasted great. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.
