Potato Castle in Wandsworth

It’s lovely to see Tooting market doing so well with new up and coming small businesses. This is definitely one of the best. What you can see as a simple addition to chips and nuggets has made literally a mouth watering difference. Seriously guys. You have to try there different flavours. Great for a light snack for browsing around the market and town or to put you by until dinner later. It is a family run business and it’s also nice to see that the value for money is more than fair. I can’t believe this isn’t more of a mainstream thing. Highly highly recommended.

Just when you think you're bored of chips, there's now a new way to eat them. Seasoned fries, a very rare concept in the UK, add loads of flavour to the popular snack. Potato Castle seasons the fires in an authentic Filipino style, with lots of flavours to choose from. I was able to split my choice in a large portion so tried garlic & parmesan, and wasabi. Really tasty. Looking forward to trying their other flavours next.

Disclaimer: The owners happen to be friends of mine so I pass by their stall every couple months. I'm not a fan of fast food but in this case, their food is quite tasty and the place has a good vibe. You'll have to wait a couple of minutes for a freshly made batch of fries though - my go to is the sweet potato and wasabi combo and where else you going to find something like that? Plus it's in Tooting Market which is interesting all in itself. So visit or don't visit but only one of them takes you to the place of freshly made and unusual tasty goodness.

These chips are banging!! You can get addicted to wasabi or garlic and parmesan mix! Always fresh and super tasty!

Really tasty chips & nuggets - love the idea of adding flavours! Our cheesy nuggets & sour cream fries were very good. Lovely friendly service as well. Situated just off Tooting High Street near to Tooting Broadway Station, its perfect for grabbing some lunch or a cheeky snack on the go :)

Just walking by this place and the awesome owners drew us in with their welcoming and chilled vibe. We had the BBQ chicken nugs and I was instantly addicted... which is not great for a wannabe vegetarian. The food is super moreish and the owners are the best people. Will be coming back again and again!!

Came across these guys after popping into Broadway Market for some Nosebag because the Pie & Mash place over the road was closed, but so glad I found them. Such a great idea, surprised I’ve not seen anyone else doing it. Everything they do is cooked fresh to order, is ridiculously more-ish and really great value. I recommend the tater tots with the BBQ flavouring 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 They’re now my go-to comfort food if I’m ever in the area, and whenever I’m running a poker game I always make sure to get a bulk order in so my friends get to enjoy them as much as me. Give ‘em a try, you won’t be disappointed 😃

I totally stumbled upon this place and was impressed by the good service and freshness of the food. I wanted something on the go and the flavours were amazing. Will definitely be coming back here again and hope he opens one near me!

In the overwhelming sensory experience of Tooting Broadway market, it may be easy to at first overlook this place. However in the modern age where people seeking instant gratifications are likely to leave you in your worst and best of times. Potato Castle will always be there. Soaking up the one too many's, or just a fantastic range for chip enthusiasts! Eat that Amsterdam! I highly recommend the bbq coated nuggets, heck I'd reccomend just about anything from this store! Always served with a smile, thank you guys!
