Savoly bad ,kebabs cold and hard like the skin of bottom of feet Salads covered in vinager so you think they are fresh not worth the 25 quid

Mike's kitchen is a clean restaurant with friendly staff and lovely fresh food. This is the only fish and chip shop to go to when in Battersea 10 out of 10

I know that they say fish and chips tastes better at the seaside. But in the shadow of Battersea Dogs Home I could have been in Worthing. Excellent !!

Amazing food. My favourite is meat and chips layered with chillie sauce and garlic mayonnaise. Fresh food. Parking is a challenge however, can park on a side street after 7pm. They also do delivery

I just love the food I order, lovely wife and husband, grilled chicken kebab is amazing, chicken nuggets are really nice aswell.

Ordered large cod and plaice and was sent the two smallest fish. A complete rip off. Edit: I am adding this bit after the response I received from the restaurant below. We had ordered here all the time and always received decent size fish. You simply tried it on by giving us the two small fishes. Please don’t patronise me saying the small pieces were the same weight as the large pieces. Anyway, I have found a better fish n chip shop, your loss as I and my brother were regulars, a shame you treat your loyal customers this way and try to make an excuse.

I ordered a large portion of chips and the portion I got was tiny. Terrible value for money. What is the point over charging for such a small portion? It guarantees customers will not return.

I created an account just to be able to write this review. I live next door to this chipper so gave them a second chance when I disliked the first kebab as I hoped it was a one off. I went tonight for a meat and chips, and the overall experience and portion size I got was the worst I have had in London. I asked for a large meat and chips and the guy made a point of saying he could only offer a small.. when I offered to pay more he said his till didn’t allow it. I tried my best to be friendly but he was totally non-engaging and rude, and then put vinegar on my chips without asking, and gave me the most pathetic amount of meat you could ask for. Honestly not worth going to if you are hoping for a decent portion or someone who even listens to your order. I won’t ever go back and I’ll be telling my friends to avoid like the plague just because the people there couldn’t care less about giving you a good meal. Really disappointing!

The haddock was fresh, cooked very well and was very tasty as were the chips. Nice touch the lemon and tartare sauce. Delivery driver was , on time , polite and courteous. Best fish and chips i've had in a very long time.

Great food & great speed on getting your food to you. My brother was over the moon with how the food tasted and how quickly and hot it was, (as his a bit away from shop) Staff couldn't be more helpful with the ordering over the phone, which I'm very grateful for, as the food was for my brother. He has ask me to say thank you to yourselves and also ask if I could order again for him sometime, because he loved the food, which I'm more then happy to do. Look forward to dealing with you again. Si no has tenido una comida para llevar de Mikes Kitchen, ¡este es el lugar para ir en Battersea! El mejor kebab que he probado durante mucho tiempo. No está empapado como cuando normalmente tienes la carne de kebab en la pita, el pan se vuelve realmente empapado por los jugos que a algunas personas les gusta, pero a mí me gusta separarlo y eso es exactamente lo que obtengo, carne separada de la pita para poder hacer la mía brocheta. Sin embargo, mi pareja comió la suya con ensalada en una caja, pero aún separada, lo cual fue genial para ella, ¡también es muy grande lo que pagas y es enorme! Es fresco y me gusta el mío a la parrilla, sabe tan bien cuando está a la parrilla pero aún está lleno de jugos de la carne, si no se te hace la boca agua, ¡debería estarlo! No solo es una comida de excelente sabor, también es rápida y está bien empaquetada. Puedes decirle a una persona apasionada cómo sabe la comida porque Mikes Kitchen es un 5 estrellas para mí. ¡Ellos también han comenzado a desayunar por la mañana! Espero con ansias esto y tampoco puedes quejarte del precio de un inglés completo por 5. ¡Mikes Kitchen es el lugar para comer!

very disappointed with the quality of food i received today. i have been to this fish and chip shop before and can say that the quality has since got worse. the fish i received today was uncooked and pink in the centre and appeared to have been cooked from frozen and was not fresh as supposed to be. had to throw away the food. a waste of money very very annoyed.

Sorry if this is a repeat as lost my review before I finished. Large Portions, competitive prices, Friendly staff, delivered on time and prompt. Family run business. Cooked properly always hot. Packaging 99.9% recyclable. Top marks for top fish, chips and kebabs.

Best Fish and chips I've tasted in a long time. Highly recommended

Tried them out for the first time via Deliveroo and was certainly not disappointed! Went for the extra large chicken shish kebab with extra chilli and it was absolutely delicious!!! Great portion size (as expected), very tender chicken, nice onions and salad and awesome and hot chilli sauce! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely order again.

Found this guy quite rude. I asked that my cho mein not to be swimming in sauce. And I was told I either have it with sauce or dry. It wouldn't have hurt for him to pop his head round the corner and tell his chefs not to put too much sauce on it. The food isn't bad bit I now have unbeatable cho mein in a huge amount of greese. Not going here again. A shame really aas a paying customer I don't think my request was too much to ask or beyond the capabilities of normal communication.

Popped in for a cheese quarter pounder. Burger was okay. Loads of raw onions (would have preferred fried), but nowhere near enough cheese. Owner seemed like a nice enough bloke.

Love the food from Mike's Kitchen, but unfortunately they haven't been available since last year, ???? I received an e-mail last week to say that they are open again, and tried on Saturday 12-05-18 to order both by phone (couldn't get through) and on-line (web site says. "Not taking orders at this time") WHAT'S HAPPENING? Frustration all round.

Do Not Order Here! Me and My Family Only Ever Ordered From Mike’s Whenever We Wanted Fish n Chips, but the service now is disgraceful, hairs in food, chips were rank, when we complained we were told “oh well” “you can have your money back but do not ever call us back to order to you again” I was so in shock as we were great customers! And as for the hairs in our food and rotten fish, they can stuff it where the sun don’t shine because not even a dog would eat!

The absolute very worst kebab (if you can call it that) we have ever had, the meat was burned and obviously had been used and reheated probably the whole week, the salad was drenched in vinegar and inedible, not even my dog had the piece that fell on the floor, do yourselves a favour and stay away from this horrendous place.

Have used mike's kitchen since the day it opened and unfortunately today was the first time it was poor The burgers tasted like pepper and that's all that was tasted and the battered sausage was burnt I hope the next time we order from here the food is at its normal standard

Driver tried to say I didn't pay but I had paid by card even said so on receipt. Lamb donnor was nearly cold asked for garlic mayo got none Mikes use to be fantastic but hasn't been the same for a while not sure what's gone on ....

La comida tardaba en venir, aparecerá cuando la comida llegó hacía frío. Las patatas fritas eran vida y pasada, el bacalao era sabroso, y por el precio que pagamos era de un tamaño bastante bueno, posible! La bañera de salsa tar tar pagué ni siquiera de alquitrán de hulla, salsa que ERA crema ensalada. En general, la comida estaba bien y comestible.

Food came late also cold and appalling. Telling me that they didn't have a driver, well that my problem paid for food and service quality which I didn't get. Never going to order from them again.

Ordered from here as I had a bad experience with another chip shop. Food arrived and I was one portion of chips down. To be honest this has happened at another place too so am.wondering if the drivers are stealing some of the food. Fish was OK although not mush flesh, kebab was very, very oily and salty. Chips were dry and hard.

Delivery arrived ahead of delivery time. As for the food I can honestly say their calamari is the best I ate in a very log time. Cheers.

Food was cold by the time it got to us. Food said on the app it was delivered when it didn't even arrive for half an hour after that.

I ordered cucumbers, red cabbage and lettuce, but they did not provide any lettuce with the salad.

A nice find, friendly and courteous delivery guy, the lamb shish was very tasty and hit the spot, so did the cod and chips., however wasn't too impressed with the battered sausage...only had two bites...but that's probably just my taste preferences. Thank you, Mike's Kitchen!

Im afraid it's 1 star. Discraful rude customer service. I found a nail in my food when ordering previously. I have alway ordered from Mikes Kitchen since last year since then the service has gone down hill. The women on the phone was very rude and does not know how to treat customers. There used to be a nice man who answered the phone and took my oder, he was also very polite. Everytime I order from here there is always a problem with the food. I dont think it is worth me spending my money. I would say the food is average.
