Excellent restaurant italien ! Nous avons pris des pizzas et une calzone, tout est fait maison, tout est très propre ! Accueil et service parfait !

Nos topamos con este encantador restaurante cuando visitamos Portobello Road y nos sentamos en su pequeña sección al aire libre. Tuvimos quatro formaggi y pizzas de margarita eran DELICIOSAS. Para el desierto tuvimos un gofre y un helado, que de nuevo fueron deliciosos y maravillosos. Gran servicio y muy atento a pesar de que estábamos sentados fuera y parecía muy ocupado. No puedo recomendar la comida lo suficientemente alto.

Si no sabías que estaba aquí podrías perdértelo, especialmente en el bullicio del día del mercado. Escondido en un arcade y sin pretensiones etiquetado como "café", en realidad es un restaurante italiano lleno con una licencia. La decoración es rústica, básica y encantadora y los productos frescos están en todas partes . . . . jamones enteros y quesos junto con verduras están todos en exhibición . Nos encantó este lugar - tuvimos la suerte de sentarnos en la zona de estilo jardín a pesar de que está cubierto. Lo encontramos por accidente y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. El servicio y la comida eran increíbles. Grandes porciones para que pueda compartir, aunque el esposo no estaría de acuerdo. Se obtiene el menú a través de un código qr en su mesa, pero es todo servicio de mesa y el personal era increíble.

Como íbamos a visitar el mercado, decidimos reservar en este restaurante, y la verdad es que acertamos de pleno. Es un restaurante italiano muy original, ya que es como un patio de manzana interior. Nos atendieron rápido y la comida estaba estupenda. Desde luego que muy recomendable si se va por la zona. La única pega que le pondría es que las mesas estaban un poco pegadas las unas a las otras, pero al ser un sitio pequeño se entiende que quieran maximizar el espacio.

Los cuatro cenamos aquí por recomendación de un familiar, y no nos decepcionó. La comida era deliciosa, fresca, casera, con recetas italianas básicas. Pedimos el entrante de albóndigas, ensalada caprese, rigatoni con berenjena, pizza Margherita, pollo milanés cubierto con espaguetis, ravioles vegetarianos, y un postre (que me olvido por el momento). Todo estaba delicioso. El servicio fue cortés y servicial. Sin duda recomiendo.

We came across this delightful eatery by accident. Its very tucked away and its not at all obvious that its even there. What an amazing surprise. Its very rustic inside and full of italian nik naks which was a delight for the eyes. The staff were extremely welcoming, smiley and friendly. The Food!!! I think it probably the best Italian food I have ever had. Each mouthful was a pure delight, we didn't want it to end. The vegetable anti pasti is a must. We don't live locally but we will be back. Its our new favourite place!!

Heerlijk eten in een restaurant dat niet opvalt tenzij je even goed kijkt en aangetrokken wordt door een lange smalle gang naar de voordeur. Binnen leun je tegen de heerlijkste geuren, zit je onder een plafond gevuld met wijnranken en bloemen en zijn de wanden gevuld met alles wat er maar gebruikt wordt door de kok. De kaart is ruim en maakt kiezen moeilijk. Pizza is zoals het moet, namelijk met een heerlijk dunne bodem. De pasta(cannelloni in mijn geval) is heerlijk gekruid en ligt in een romige tomatensaus. De muziek hoort erbij, een mix van de oudere popmuziek zonder de opdringerige beat van tegenwoordig. De bediening is Italiaans en attent. Dit alles maakt dat wij wisten er goed aan gedaan hadden om de zomervakantie weer richting Italië te gaan. Overigens is de “blauwe” deur niet ver van dit restaurant(film Notting Hill)) Prachtig sfeervol restaurant, zonde om over te slaan!

Stumbled into this home style Italian restaurant after a long stroll on Portobello Street. Peeked into the alley and saw a cute restaurant inside.Place says open 12pm but we went in 11am and the lovely lady from Sorento originally welcomed us and sat us. Excellent place if you like Italian food. A bit quirky in design, part trattoria, part grocery shop, part home kitchen. Some dishes are prepared in front of you in a sort of open kitchen, some ingredients are on display... The food was excellent, the chef is Italian, the majority of the staff seems to be Italian, you're out of London the second you step in.

I went to this restaurant yesterday on the 9th of October 2023, with my new sister and my daughter and grandson. I was on my way to the Adoption agency just off the Portobello Road. We was feeling a bit peckish. When I stumbled across this Italian eatery, I walked past Ann, it caught my eye the ingredients, the chef the cleanliness and then the friendliness of the young gentleman that served us very very very top-notch. I am a ex chef. I do love my food I’m very particular of where it comes from. This was a new one for me, and one I won’t forget as it was also Very tasty reasonably priced we all had mains bottle of water, three coffees and a side order of fries very reasonable priced. Even the chef came his head to me as to say is everything okay? I gave him the thumbs up and put my hand to my heart🙏🏼🥂 I’d like to thank everyone for that lovely day they made for me and my family if you’re ever in Portobello Road why not try this lovely café restaurant fresh produce and excellent service. Love it here. Stopped for Sunday lunch for a tabel for two. The whole place has a lovely authentic feel to it and the attentive and pleasant staff just add to it. Food choice is excellent, well made and presented and portions of a size where you can enjoy all three courses the three berry cheesecake is especuially good. It was busy when we there, maybe 90% full but that helps creates the atmosphere and didn't hamper the service. Cost and value more than reasonable for the location and we definitely will be back again soon. Fantastic Job

My wife and I had been to the garden caffe once before and absolutely loved it. this time we took two of our children and weren't disappointed. food, atmosphere and service was amazing for such an unassuming, charming little eatery. perfectly relaxed for a wonderful plate of food and glass of wine. whilst we had to wait for a free table it was well worth it. oh how I wish we had something similar down the road from where we live!!

A charming place where the food is lovingly prepared fresh as you sit and absolutely delicious. Stopped in early in the day when they were closed and saw the attention to detail in food prep. Returned two nights later for a lovely meal. The bruschetta was the best!! Felt a little like being in Italy - as Italian language was all around and gave me the sense we scored if native Italians find this place as good as we did. YUM.
