Looking for a breakfast in Wednesbury I walked past Porky's and decided to dine there. I chose my usual range of items, which were supplied, although the fried bread was delayed. The food was tasty, but it was served after a fair wait. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and the meal was reasonably priced.

Hired this company to cater for and serve Caribbean food for a 60th birthday party. Was told they would arrive at 6.30, this time then changed to 7 (food was to be served at 8.30), they arrived at 8.30 and seemed to be under the influence of something. Spilt food in the lift, on the floor. Left hot water from an urn running which then poured all over the floor leaving guests to grab a mop. Had no gloves, hair nets, masks or aprons. Clothing was dirty and smelt of grease. They had no containers to put the chaffing fuel in which resulted in a fire…the table cloth went up in flames, the fire fell onto a guests chair burning a hole in the chair cover and sash and burning her jacket… thankfully she stood up in time. Carrolle was attempting to put the fire out with a tissue and burnt her hand in the process! Guests put the fire out by throwing water over it. When questioned about how long the food would take Carrolle was very rude, arguing and shouting in people’s faces. If it wasn’t for Carrolle’s son (who she first told us was roped in because her staff had let her down and then told us was her manager) it could’ve escalated to a much worse situation but he handled the situation professionally and eventually served the guests rather than arguing with them. During the whole time Carrolle was dancing rather than concentrating on serving guests, she stood infront of the table rather than behind reaching over the food to get to other food. At one point she even ran to the dance floor and kicked off her shoes. She then had the audacity to be asking everyone how the food tasted making the guests feel uncomfortable because the food was not to standard. A lot of the guests said their food was cold, the vegetarian option was frozen vegetables mixed with curry powder, the ‘macaroni cheese’ was made with overcooked penne pasta, hake was swimming in a greasy. All in all a dire service from start to finish, highly dissatisfied and would definitely NOT recommend.

A beautiful woman with the most amazing short hair served me. She was polite and gave instant communication with the food being amazing with flavours flowing in and out my mouth.

This cafe is brilliant , the food was out of this world , the staff can’t do enough for you , really friendly and accommodating, told everyone I know to go there , I go most weekends. It’s also spotless

Best breakfast around quality of food is great lovely cup of tea and toast would always recommend porkys

Hadn,t been here for a long time it was different people from the last time we were there it was empty and the notice on the window said closed Sunday the door was open so we went in and asked if they were open and they were we had the roast lunch me chicken and my friend had beef there was mash roast potatoes veg,and lovely gravey, very tasty will be going again

We ordered a sunday roast from here around 6 months ago, arrived cold and things missing. Rectified missing items but didnt replace the cold meals. Then we thought after 6 months maybe its imoroved? So message them on their page to place an order, and 4 hours later get a reply by text saying sorry didnt see your message will give discount next time. Sorry but 2/2 bad experiences... there wont be a 3rd! Especially when they say order through our page. I

On a Sunday morning we decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out, having dropped mother in law at the church opposite. I had the veggie breakfast, which consisted of 2 hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans and tomatoes. Hubby had 2 sausages, egg, baked beans and chips. We both had a cup of tea each. The tea arrived first, followed by toast and bread and butter, both of which we hadn’t ordered but were included in the meals. When the meals arrived, they were huge and hot! The place itself is spotless and the staff are friendly and professional. Thoroughly recommend this place and we will be back!

Very dear the lady who runs it is rude plus she buys her bread and food from Morrisons and charges more than she paid for products

Only thirty yards from Wednesbury clock Porky's Cafe, whilst not on the main shopping street is in the centre of town. Porky's is a traditional English Cafe serving traditional English breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches and lunches. It does daily specials and is a good place to drop in for a tea or coffee in the morning or early afternoon. To call it a greasy spoon is a bit unfair since it is very clean, bright and airy. It serves good food at reasonable prices. Service is good and it's a nice place to eat if you are in Wednesbury.

Not a lot to say about this cafe except that it is a nice little independent typical English “greasy spoon” type cafe. The breakfast is very good value and good quality. Service is good and it is clean and pleasantly decorated. A great choice for an English Breakfast.

Dont expect fancy food, what you will get is good honest food at a reasonable price, fresh cooked and quick service

Myself and friend have eaten and had breakfast at the cafe its an ideal place to have any kind of meal its reasonable priced if your passing go in and try the breakfast or a cup of tea.

I was the only customer, this was a quiet town at the start of a new year. There is not a large menu, typical fried fayre. My faggots, chips and peas were excellent and for that and tea for under a £5 you really can't complain.
