Porky Pig Street Food in Manchester

I think overall my experience of Porky Pigs Christmas Yorkshire pudding wrap from there Exchange Square Christmas stand has been disappointing. From waiting in line for over 30 minutes to be served to then having to wait another 20 minutes for my order. The atmosphere is great, however, the food IMO seems to have gone downhill over the years. The food itself was tasteless and I had to look for the tiny scraps of meat that were actually in the Yorkshire pudding, for close to £10 not great. So great idea initially which has gone downhill through popularity over the years and it just seems very rushed and careless in places. I've tried it this year but wont be back.

Went to a festival and was looking forward to this food! Extremely gutted when I got It was absolutely awful, food undercooked and staff were ruined and arrogant. Never again will I waste money here

These guys were at the Christmas market and offered a yorkshire pork wrap and it smelled and looked so good I could not resist. Ordered one up with gravy, peas and all the fixings. They wrap this with the pulled pork and then grill it all together. I found a spot with a beer to enjoy. The first bites were good but I found that it simply lacked the flavours that I was expecting. So, left me disappointed. The main issue was the lack of salt, seasonings, salt, something. It was bland but it looked really nice. I guess you can't or won't always dress up a pig.

Comida de muy mala calidad, salchichas fritas baratas que no tienen sabor. Muy caro por lo económico de los productos que utilizan. No es mejor que una panadería de libra en serio.

Así que pedí dos tostadas de queso. Lo que vino fueron dos trozos de pan con un poco de queso sin sabor sin sabor. Ni siquiera era una tostada, era solo una tostada con queso. No sellada o ni remotamente se asemeja a una tostada. ¡No volveré a hacer pedidos desde aquí! !

Ordered 2 porky carverys, Both of us were full to the brim with deliciously seasoned veg, meat and gravy. Waiting for tomorrow when we can get some more 😛

After the server prepared my meal, he carried on handling the cash and card reader while still wearing the food prep gloves. This is a big "No" for me. Hygiene matters!

This outlet is certainly not posh. However it is exactly the perfect place to visit on arrival after a long journey. No frills but really good value food. Relaxed with nice and friendly staff.

Went here just before Xmas and were blown away by the friendly service we received, and the delicious food, we had a roast dinner in a Yorkshire pudding wrap, including Sprouts and gravy!!!! It’s surprisingly tasty and you get a huge amount, but you can’t leave it because it’s so tasty.

Absolutely amazing!!! Amazing Crispy Yorkies! Yet the Star is the Staff!! So so friendly and helpful, always willing to listen and always smiling, despite being the busiest stall by far. Not just one or two of yu’s, everyone I could see or hear, so friendly. The work ethos was amazing and I had to revisit the next day due to the wonderful food. I’m not gonna spoil it and describe what it is, but please there is a reason for a 20min queue in the rain. Thanks for making my first trip to Manchester Amazing and looking forward already to next year. Well done all of you!!

My Niece dragged us miles to Manchester for a Yorkshire Pudding Wrap. Queue start confusing as people waiting for order. Ordered Yorkshire Breakfast.. Not available.. No time limit given on signage. Order Cumberland.. Watched server go from one end of catering unit to other.. so followed and then given Cold Yorkshire Pudding with tasteless sausage

Stumbled across this little gem!great selection of breakfasts, sandwiches and take aways etc. Reasonablelu priced too.

Dropped by porky pigs during a weekend visit from the Netherlands. Been craving good British hog roast/roast dinner for ages and this hits the spot perfectly. Proper good food and very friendly staff - definitely will be back again.

Visited here 1 sat morning after the night before. The service was fast and friendly. It's like a good old cafe, with a modern twist. I had standard breakfast recovery food and drinks...would go again.

Great food, always had the Yorkshire pudding wrap but since they added the Pizza Yorkshire pudding I get one every time I go in. Very reasonably priced and the staff are really Friendly.

Wow one the best place to eat in Manchester. Shame I only found it in my Last day but now anytime I am in Manchester I will try this for sure, again and again. They do wraps, carvery, pizzas and desserts and with Yorkshire puddings....

One of us had a full English breakfast one a tuna sandwich. There is a vast choice of meat hot and cold food. Quirky decor friendly staff. Good value at £11 with two mugs of tea . Plenty of seats upstairs.
