Delivered late ..meal not very hot . Disappointed

I ordered from here as I’ve always known the quality to be fantastic, however, I ordered two waffles tonight and they were undercooked and one of the waffles was missing some toppings that were advertised on the menu. This isn’t the usual standards so was a little bit disappointing. It won’t stop me ordering from here again in the future.

Overcharged for what was given, gave 1 whole waffle and split it in two so now we have “two” waffles. Charging almost £8 for half a waffle and advertising it incorrectly too is shocking. Should let people know that they only going to receive half a waffle.

The best waffle you can get in Doncaster for sure 😍everything was perfect the ice cream was incredible delicious too .

Ordered a chicken Tikka masala and it wasn't spicy at all, it seemed more a korma and had too much almond and coconut in the sauce. Really disappointed.

food came hot, was tasty and delicious will definitely be ordering again. each time I've ordered the food has always been great. Great curry, great naan and lamb chops were delicious

I ordered a milkshake to which half of the chocolate in the milkshake was chunky and collecting at the bottom of my cup. Almost half the cup was filled with half broken chocolate and I barely had any milkshake which I paid £4.50 for. My cousin had the Oreo waffle to which she said was cold and not up to standard for £8.75. I’m not impressed and would like some sort of refund.

Delicious food and excellent service. Opened iftar here and we were a large party; they had everything ready and it was hot and fresh. Management were really supportive as i have young children and they offered alternatives to the previously agreed set menu. Kiran was particularly friendly and helpful and so was one of the managers (forgot the name, but skinny with no hair). Desserts were amazing! Thank you poppadoms and cream! 😊 🙏

Amazing service provided. Great fresh food given. I went for the chicken Chat puri and achar ghosht. Didn’t dissapoint. Chips were really on point and they went the extra mile (we were fasting so they gave extras which I really appreciate) Would most certainly return. Next time got to try their dessert which looked amazing

The waffles were nice but the bottom of the waffles had a strong taste of lemon which kind of ruined it.

Great food as always however one item was not what was ordered , luckily husband can eat hot hot food.

Food was awful ordered chicken korma chips and garlic naan arrived cold and the curry was in edible tasted like pure salt and was awful

My partner and I have been to this restaurant multiple times, and we've consistently enjoyed the quality, variety, and reasonable prices. The owner and staff are accommodating, ensuring a relaxed dining experience without feeling rushed. We were pleasantly surprised to discover it's BYO alcohol, which turned out to be a positive for us last night!

Indulged in some nice desserts—especially enjoyed the cookie dough. The curry was lovely, and the staff were nice and friendly. Worth a try—don't forget to book your table!

Stopped nearby, craved a curry, asked the hotel, and wasn't disappointed. Ordered the chef's special lamb—it was lovely and spicy. Tried a waffle after my curry, a unique choice indeed!

Cookie dough was burnt to a crisp then the man on the phone was rude when I brought it to his attention. He did resend some which was a lot better however the portion was a drastic lot smaller. Wouldn’t order again

The desert I ordered it was all smashed all over the box looked disgusting

Worst Indian I've ever had, we ordered this via Uber eats😶☹️ when we tried to call to complain no one answered the phone, we rang multiple of times. Ordered a paneer masala. It arrived without any sauce, maybe I expected too much but in my opinion a masala is the sauce 🤷🏼‍♀️. My peshwari naan was soggy and had no coconut in whatsoever. My boyfriend had the kebab skewers and was immediately throwing up after them. I had heard good things about this Indian now I'm left with a negative opinion.

Dropped by for dessert with a friend—freshly prepared treats, fantastic atmosphere, and the staff, along with the management, were outstanding. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be returning! 👌🏽

Had a family dinner at Poppadoms and Cream. Saffron, our waitress, welcomed us with a lovely smile. She seated us, provided menus, and returned after 10 minutes to take our orders. She recommended the lamb on the bone, which turned out to be a really nice dish. We all agreed that the food was great, service was good without being over the top, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, despite not being too busy. Left Saffron a lovely tip. Doncaster's best Indian spot has won me over completely – I won't go anywhere else now. I brought friends last night, and they were super impressed too. The menu has so many options, and every dish we've tried has been amazing. The service is really friendly and quick, and the prices are reasonable. As a nice surprise, the manager gave us a yummy strawberry cheesecake to share at the end. Big thanks!

This is the pathetic excuse of “cookie dough” tasted of nothing, greasy and was literally an over baked super thin cookie!! For nearly £8!!

Ordered take away and I'm disgusted they allowed such low quality food to be delivered and their idea of a sorry was offering £3 off a future order Like I would ever order there watery bland food ever again. Only half the order delivered. Ask for the half meal to be replaced so could enjoy with what was missing. They didn’t even bring out what was missing. Low end food which was there wouldn’t ever recommend eating from this establishment even if you got your full order. Dog food would have been better then what they sent out.

Ordered a bottle of normal Sprite but they sent Sprite Zero, if you’re going to advertise it as Sprite then when I order it, I expect Sprite not they Zero version. Also ordered Pilau rice but instead they sent me mushroom fried rice, ruined the entire meal.

Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. Its been a while since i have ordered from here, but they used to do a really nice chicken/lamb hyderabadi. I mean it used to be so good that i would save some until the next day. Now the hyderabadi is lacking in flavour, they have added fresh coriander on top to make up for the overall dish, which i appreciated but the dish was unfortunately not great. The korma came as a very sweet paste, again they added ingredients to the top to make it look more appealing (coconut), but unfortunately it was not enjoyable. The lamb chops were amazing, great job. if it wasnt for these then it would of been a lower rating. The onion bhaji was like a flat pancake and didnt taste nice, i could cook better quality frozen ones. The sundries were fine. The paneer was tasteless and undercooked. Hopefully you will try and restore the taste and quality of the food you serve.

The waffle was warm but the sticky pudding with custard was cold like it had been taken out of the fridge, expected it to be hot or at least warm. Disappointed hubby

Best Indian in Doncaster, tried many and won't go anywhere else now. Took friends last night who were very impressed. Extensive choice and every dish we've tried has been excellent. Service is very friendly and efficient with prices very reasonable. The manager even gave us a strawberry cheesecake to share at the end which was delicious. Thank you.

Chicken was poor quality and over cooked

We revisited Poppadoms & Cream after being so delighted from our previous visit , Again the service could only be described as excellent . Staff were attentive but not over fussy . Service was quickly atteded and food was beautifully prepared, we enter to find a few customers dining and all very satisfyfied customers , I overheatd a few coments fom customers who had dined previously . Whist we were there the staff greated a large party of gents and a large family gathering too , All were dealt with in their stride we'll certainly return .......

Very overpriced as portions are small,especially the chocolate cookie dough.Paying 6£ for the smallest,thinnest cookie and a small scoop of ice cream.Not worth it! Chicken in biryani was a bit chewy..Wouldnt order again

Starters were disappointing. Only one small pot of Yoghurt sauce and one small box of salad for 2 starters. Garlic naan was like Garlic bread from a pizza shop, weird. Keema naan, Chicken Curry & Chicken Korma were delicious. Very fresh and Very tasty. Impressed that they delivered early.

It was awful . Really promising menu but I’m pretty sure it had been reheated - the pakora was so dry and I couldn’t actually bite through it . Same for the other 3 dishes we ordered - one had cheese and was supposed to be in pieces but came out of the tray in one lump . Then it was rock hard too . Really disappointed

Disappointed 1st time. Poppadoms tasted soft and greasy. Pickle tray was 3 tiny tubs. Curries had OK flavour but again tiny portions. Wouldn't order again I'm afraid, much better out there.

Went with a group of friends for an early evening meal. The food was amazing as always. The service was excellent and the cheesecake was delicious 😋

Very small portions the Currys were half full in the tubs and had about 5-6 pieces of chicken in them both, also it was not spicy at all (chilli chicken garlic balti) and they forgot the onion Bhajis so had to request a refund through just eat. Couldn’t recommend it unfortunately.

Small bland pickle tray. Lovely starters of vegetable samosas. Nice tasting but the onion bhaji had hardly any onion. Lovely onion rice but hardly any onions in. Chicken balti was nice enough but weird. Beautiful and good amount of chicken but the sauce was more like a tikka. Not an onion in sight which in every balti ive had is packed with them. Maybe they were short on onions or I have an issue. Inedible greasy heavy chapati, naan was OK but a bit dry. We would try them again coz everyone deserves a second chance. Oh and no bag of salad!

Called in last night as part of a group of 7 chaps... there is sometimes this "oh no" approach to 7 blokes coming in for supper.... no judgement from the staff... the welcome was lovely. The verdict from all 7 of us was FAB... starters were good... and all of the main courses were lovely. What made it lovely was the service and the feel of the place...I would defo recommend if you are in Doncaster and want a decent indian meal... a top dish... Butter Lamb with fresh chillies on the top.... belting !!

Went for a curry after being out for a few beers with a friend.The worst Indian meal I have had in memory. We both started with Bhajis they were tough & dried out and were even difficult to cut. Neither of us finished them you can get much better from a budget supermarket. My main was a Paneer curry it had tough cheese & little flavour. My friend had a Chicken Tikka Masala that was tough & not very tasty.He also had Samosas which were not brilliant. We had a beer each & paid £25.00 each in total. The joke is they have a pavement board saying finest Indian in Doncaster. Not even if it was the only one!!

Myself and my husband visited yesterday evening after a day at the races and it was just what we needed! Absolutely delicious food and really reasonably priced, great atmosphere and the staff where sooo friendly and accommodating and couldn't have done more for us!!! I highly recommend a desert too.... the cheesecake was really delicious x I would highly recommend xx

Had a get together with friends at this Indian restaurant & can't praise it enough. Excellent food served in a timely manner, cooked to the requested spice strength & plenty of it. The staff are very pleasant & attentive. Didn't have room for dessert so took one as a takeaway. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Visited here after been recommended by an asian taxi driver that this was the place for a curry. We went here with high expectations & was so disappointed with what was served. The staff knew very little English so we had to wait for who we thought maybe have been the owner to come help. He was very abrupt! We ordered the food apna style & all they did was Chuck lots of green chillis in the food. There was no authenticity to the food at all. My friend who is Asian could not believe what we’d been served!!! We left and both said we will never return!! The following day we we knew for sure we wouldn’t return. Both been up in the night with stomach problems!! Avoid …

Like the title says, I used to love the food from here, but it just didn't seem to hit the standards it used to have many moons ago.

Another lovely meal again, staff really nice and attentive. Restaurant wasn’t busy , would highly recommend. Didn’t take any photos of the meal but did of the desserts.

Absolutely vile I make better currys from a jar. The madras might aswell be a ginger curry. The onion bhaji was rubbery and a few days old no flavour . The korma was blended up mush, the fact that an English man can make a better curry from a jar is outrageous. First time ordering and will be the last. £27 for two boring currys and 2 rubbery bhajis glad I made my own rice.

Dropped by hoping for an OK meal. Super surprised by the quality and flavours of a brilliant curry. Superbly cooked chicken and excellent service. Fortunately I hadn't read the earlier reviews, as I would have missed this curry house which produces the best curry I've had outside London.

After discovering this Gem whilst on business, I can honestly state best food in the area, if you love a curry you wont be disapointed, highly recommend the lamb chops curry. plz note they also offer a great range in modern deserts so its an absolute bonus. thanks to all the staff there esp the main man

Ordered a takeaway from here & it was excellent. Chicken makhani with pilau rice & peshwari naan, delivered hot & on time. Will be using them again & will also be trying the restaurant
