Long established cafe, great breakfast menu and much more. Always consistently great food at a great price. Twenty years I've been eating here and it's always a weekly treat for a fine breakfast.

Delivery time changed three times. All good which arrived was stone cold. Would not order from here again. Sorry.

Really enjoyed this place because there's both outdoor and indoor seating, perfect for spring weather!! The food was also so affordable and the portions were huge! Eggs were also cooked to perfection and hashbrows were chef's kiss!! it's a great breakfast place tucked away in the corner of a residential area. definitely will become a regular!

Haven't been back since graduating in 2011 (eek! 😂). But was back in Leeds with my uni besties, so we popped in. Still the same quality - jel of the students! Veggie small - which was pretty sizeable. Got the flapjack too. Also it's the quickest tea I've ever been served in my life. Ordered at the counter and was immediately in my hands. So Yorkshire 🖤

Absolutely appalling food, spam looked like it had been for cremation and when I rang to complain about the food they just stated ‘they are busy’ and ‘don’t know what has happened’. Would not recommend if you want to wake up in the morning.

Ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. I recommend wrapping in foil because it was really cold. It would have been so good if it was hot!

Got breakfast delivery. Came really quick, and with a smile. Breakfast is a difficult thing to travel and the kept the wet items in seperate pots so it arrived good to go. Great portions. Would definitely order again. Would have given 5 stars for food if the vegetarian sausages were better quality

The tomatoes are (for lack of a better term) bad. Everything else is so good I almost scream with joy. God I love it here.

Asked for runny eggs and they came over cooked and inedible. Delivery driver went the wrong way- is an 8 minute drive away and took 25 mins to get to me so little disappointed as by that time the food was cold, however despite these factors the rest of the food was really good 😊

Please don't tell anyone how great this unassuming little place is. It's my secret hideaway! Perfect eggs, delicious sausages, fingerlicking toast and succulent beans, all washed down with the most smooth coffee I've had out in a long time! A breakfast worth waiting for 😋🍳☕😍

Popina is really an amazing place where to order food. Great food, big portions, delivered on time. The delivery drivers calls you before and he arrives 5 minutes earlier. Just a great amazing service and delicious food.

Was missing eggs from my order

The food is vile, second weeek in a row. If you don’t want to waste £20 on cold food an food cooked with clearly a depressed chef then save your money. Pay the taxi and go to spoons. Popinas used to be recommendable but now I wouldn’t even let my dog dine there. Complete let down for the second time, wish I could attach a picture!!!

Well Considering it took our belly’s from empty to full in 35 minutes we certainly Cannot grumble. £12.95 for your finest sourced sausages and locally sourced bacon. The eggs were certainly free range. I would know the difference. The mushrooms could of done with a little more killing but the customer isn’t always right. Fast efficient service, bacon and egg butty, cooked to perfection

Ordered from Uber eats and missed out half my order, when I phoned them they told me to take this up with Uber when Uber are only the collection and delivery service not the ones actually pack the order into the bag. Absolutely disgusting service and pass the blame into Uber. Trying to blame them for taking out half my order from the bag.

I enjoyed visiting Popina's. I had the 'large breakfast', which consisted of 2 fried eggs, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon, mushroom, a hash brown, tomato and beans, and served with toast and tea. Pleasant surroundings and free roadside parking directly outside.

I failed the food challenge. If you're attempting it you only get half an hour (it used to be an hour) which makes it 10x more difficult. If you succeed you do get a little keyring now which is nice. The staff are lovely and for £20, and the amount of food you get, it's great value.

The prices are not high, the portions are average. Not a bad place to eat out!

Cheese & Salad sandwich was auful. Cheese was tasteless, the salad was none existant. Two pieces of tomato & cucumber, with a few strands of lettuce isn't salad. The sauce was none existant also, sorry Popina's I won't order again.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, one was undercooked bacon and the other was a sausage sandwich absolutely drowned in ketchup, making the bread very soggy. Took over an hour to come, also arriving cold Wouldn’t be ordering from here again

Lovely quality food, just exactly what you need for a nice fry up delivery. Good sized hash browns too. They actually read the instructions and made the bacon crispy and then also found my address (which isn't hard to find if you read my instructions or use your brain).

Went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast with a few friends, had seen promising reviews online so decided to take a gamble on the cafe. The service in the cafe was fairly pleasant with most workers taking well to our shock of what the cafe had to offer. However, they failed to make us our teas leaving us with some lukewarm milk in a plastic container. There were two orders for a full english which were both described average at best. The hasbrowns and sausages were undercooked but it seems that most of the cooking was focused on the baked beans. Which looked like a red mush. The other three orders were variations of sausage and bacon ‘sandwiches’ which came in unbuttered, slightly stale baps. Each contained either two slices of bacon or two sausages, surprisingly stingy for a £3+ sandwhich. They also didn’t offer variations of bread for the sandwiches which is a minor ask for a cafe. I wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone unless you are very desperate for food. I would’ve been more satisfied if the food somewhat matched the price or was lowered instead to reflect the meal quality.

Nice hot breakfast / brunch as always. Thanks to the delivery driver - who had to walk up to me due to a road block for road works. He was diligent & polite.

The food is only just warm before I got halfway through the breakfast it was cold there tea and coffee is low brand . I would like to use this cafe more often as it is local for me but come on check the food before you send it out

I came to Popina's hoping for a hearty brunch and a nice warm brew. I ordered a bacon sandwich with hash browns and a coffee. The sandwich was exactly as expected - nothing special. Very soft white bread, freezer hash browns and pretty nice bacon. Alright price but not amazing. The coffee however was very weak and really didn't give me any joy to drink. The nice staff and atmosphere was probably the best bit and I could tell I didn't come at the best time. Overall it's alright but I'm going to find another place for my morning brew.

Worst bacon sarni around the breadmaking was solid

They rang me to confirm my address which is strange... since it’s on the receipt. Then it turned up extremely soggy and missing ALL the eggs from both meals. This is the second time that has happened from here. The bread was hard and chewy at the same time. I only ordered the breakfast for the eggs. Extremely disappointed and won’t be back.

Burnt bacon and sausages. Extra hashbrown I bought for inside the breakfast sandwich was packaged separately and cold when I came to eat. Delivery was excellent though it arrived 40 mins before the estimated time or about 10 mins after being placed.

Popina's can be trusted to deliver good simple hot food at good prices. I like their bacon & egg sandwiches with chopped tomatoes & mushrooms added.

Food was cold. They also forgot a drink and when we rang, the lady that answered was really rude to us saying they couldn’t redeliver even when we suggested if the driver on his next delivery could drop it on the way past. After she laughed at us on the phone and called us rude for rightly asking for an item we paid for she hung up the phone and mocked us. Just really rude of her, I get they were busy but could have been handled better. She didn’t even suggest a refund for it and instead suggested the next time we ordered we would get the item for free which isn’t great service.

Really disappointed, this was my first order. Avoid the veggie sausages, these are the outdated style of mashed up vegetables in a sausage shape. The mushrooms unfortunately had no taste, like tinned mushrooms, and the fried eggs were crunchy on the bottom.
