Soda machine is awful. Dr Pepper tastes like water. Manager said “that’s how it comes - try another one”. Not good enough service and I don’t believe Coke want their drinks tasting like water. Food good though

Excellent quality chicken, great flavors. Messy table cleared as soon as they saw us heading towards it.

Words from the table: “tender, crispy and brilliant” says the 8-year-old, “delicious, scrumptious and yummy” says the 10-year-old. The 6-year-old says “yummy, crunchy and delicious”. I tend(er) to agree. Oh no she didn’t!

Lovely customer service from Abhi in Chelmsford. The second we approached the door, Abhi opened it for us, as we had a pushchair. Delightful customer service throughout.

Food was a good quality but chicken coating very bland compared to other restaurants. Menu was quite large with a good selection. Food is similar price point to Wendy's which i think offers a better quality meal for the price. 2 working toilets for quite a big restaurant not great and they weren't clean.

Busier than when I usually come here because of the school holidays, but the food was excellent.

Just an overpriced KFC. Went there with my son today. While we were eating a woman came over and wanted us to leave a review. Wouldn’t go away until we had and told us we had to press the 5 star button. My son did this just to get her to go away so we could eat without her standing right next to us. Very bad manners and unprofessional. Won’t ever go back there.

As a popular destination for myself and my colleagues, we have been here many times without problems. My order has been the same every time which is the 2 piece original chicken meal. I was given a normal piece and then what looked like a part of a wing. I went back to ask whether they had made a mistake (politely), the shift manager I spoke to said "this is always how it comes". I expressed that I always come in here, and not a big deal but it's not how it comes, I know the difference between a chicken piece and small wing. She told me I would have to wait 18 minutes if I wanted another peice. This suggested that they had replaced what I should have got to what they had already. I wouldn't leave a review but felt obliged due to the unpleasant manner in which she spoke to me, she was rude and abrupt over such a small thing. She also lied which was not necessary and then got defensive when I asked her why she was being rude. When I was leaving I asked for her name but she would not give it. This is a small Indian lady, 5"1 in height, day shift manager on Thursday 11th March. Please do something about this lady, she will drive customers away, my colleagues all saw how she spoke to me. We will not be returning. Disgusting manner.

Honestly amazing. Always been a chicken guy and this did not disappoint. Burger was juicy and hot, tenders were crispy and tasty, fries were hot and salty. Nice atmosphere and staff.

Good service and best quality food

Food wasn't a bit cold it was freezing! We had to warm everything in the microwave which made it tase even worse. Delivery time when we ordered at 6.50 was 20 - 50, the food arrived at 8.20pm our 5 year old fell asleep with no dinner.

First estimated time of delivery was 19:10. Finally delivered at 20:20. Rider stated there had been an order mix up which meant he had to wait for the food to be prepared. Unfortunately, I do not believe this as the food was barely warm and my milkshake was not that cold. We had to re-heat our food before eating it. If this

We've had Popeyes Chicken in America several times and always enjoyed it. We decided to try it in the UK, but what a disappointment. The food was bland, the staff were incompetent, and the restaurant had no atmosphere.

This was some of the best chicken I’ve ever had anywhere. I felt compelled to write a review. Thank you to Sophie and team I will for sure be back soon.

I just went to Popeye's in Chelmsford, I ordered a 3 piece meal. I didn't get one piece of breast and I actually got a wing as one of the pieces. KFC always seems to give 1 breast and never a wing as a piece of chicken
