I didn't feel the need for meat , all the dishes I had were so tasty "who needs meat"!?

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Food was amazing and the service we got from Parth was great. He really looked after us the whole evening. Food was so delicious and different to the other restaurant and that stoof out for us. Thank you for a great evening Parth.

GROUPON WARNING Groupon are selling vouchers , but they can't be redeemed because they can only be used for reservations in the afternoon, and the restaurant doesn't open until 5pm, despite ringing restaurant about this, they are not taking down their Groupon deals.

Groupon let us buy and make reservation for Pooja's, got confirmation of booking, and drove few miles to restaurant, looking forward to a nice meal, only to find shutters are down. Checked restaurant on internet to find out Pooja is closed until 5pm. Bad practice of restaurant to be offering deals via Groupon when they can't be honoured. Management do not care, deal is still advertised even though it has been brought to their attention.

This was the best Indian street food restaurant we've been to. Very good staff and a really good quality of food and service.

Extraordinary. All the cuisines were fresh and refreshing.Staff always ready to help, extreme cleanliness, posh atmosphere and delicious food with perfect delivery.Although, the main things is there the owner is full of warmth and thoughtful of his guests. He is always around ready to hear all types of experiences from you and the rest of the guests. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Amazing food and hospitality..... we went for a cricket team lunch and it would have been hard with so many of us including kids but the Restuarant was amazing in providing a 5 star service and the food was very authentic!! The food was extremely delicious and the service was brilliant. There is a wide range of food from scrumptious starters to marvellous main meals, the drinks were superb and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this.

Hair on the bhatura. Sent it back and got another one. Got charged twice despite reminding at the till! Check your bill carefully at this place.

Great food. Loved their Paneer dish. It was a hit all round. The service was ok because they clearly were a little under staffed. But they did a brilliant job under the circumstances. Mango Lassi was in tiny glasses, typically for that price they are in much bigger glasses. All in all, great food, really sweet people running it.

Delicious food and lovely service. It was our first night out since the lockdown and we couldn’t have chosen better! The curries had a great layers of spicing and naan was exceptional.

We've visited Pooja's 4 or 5 times each time the quality of the food & the service is excellent, really nice authentic Indian vegetarian food !

Went here during the “eat out to help out”. Pani puri was great and so was the dhosa. The fried bhajia were way too crispy so didn’t enjoy them as much but the taste was good. Would have been better if not that hard. The cholay was very spicy so if you want spicy chickpeas this is the place. The taste was nice but on the spicy side. The owner was very friendly.

It took over an hour for the mains to arrive. Vegetable curry was lacking vegetables and both currries ordered were very salty.

Great food , superb customer service, we are local to order the takeaway and abselurely amazed, Sev Puri was very traditionally style like eat in india with all flvaoured, lots of corriender , chat masala etc, also ordered shahi paneer and Sizzeler was awsome !!

I went to Pooja's this Saturday with a group of friends. We are staunch Non vegetarians, however, we fancied a little change and thought of trying something different... It turned out to be such an Awesome experience! We never thought Vegetarian food could taste so good!! Kudos to the Chef and the entire Pooja's team for providing excellent service and finger licking food!! We are definitely coming back for more!!! Guys! go check it out for yourself!!!

The staff are friendly, but the quality of food was awful. The food was bland and tasteless. We got a chat and the sev tasted stale. The vegetables in the birjani were frozen vegetables. The quality of food is awful and was expensive for a very low quality meal. They should improve their quality of food if you want to continue...

I ordered takeaway and had high hopes from this restaurant as it was a local, but upon ordering the food the sev puri portion was super tiny. The Oro (Baigan Bharta) had too much salt, to the extent that I could only taste salt, the only vegetable in the dish was aubergine no other vegetables. The chilli panner was nothing special. The rita was 2 tablespoons with 1 corriander leaf in it. We ordered the veg biryani and the menu says the following: Layers of authentic basmati rice and fresh mix vegetable cottage cheese cubes prepared with special pooja’s biryani masala, saffron cardamom each layer of rice is topped with melted butter and fresh coriander. This Biryani is then cooked in a clay pot to allow all the flavors to blend to perfection. Served with Raita Simply Must have it – Very delicious. The only ingredients was got with the veg biryani was rice, spices and carrots, not what the menu says. If I could I would give this place 0 stars and the food was way overpriced for what we got. This is the first and last time I visit this restaurant. If you can, avoid this restaurant. 0 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food and service was very good

A very tasty lunch and friendly service. Mum had paneer with bhatura and I had the masala dosai, along with masala tea to soothe a rainy and windy day ! Would definitely return.

Visited this Pure vegetarian Indian restaurant today (25 Jan 2020) with my family. Tasty food and absolutely lovely cutting chai (Indian style). Very central to eat in Ruislip. If you are a freshly made food eater and you want the variety of your choice yarn do visit them. Please take a note fo not risk getting a parking ticket To choose from their menu and understand their commitment to please you you will have to visit them often to create good taste buds Wish you all good and enjoyable hijstati south indian,chinese pizza with indian twist.

I would definitely recommend Pooja’s restaurant. It’s a family run business and owner is very friendly. They offer a wide range of dishes which are unique. I went to the restaurant with family and friends in December and we had Pani puri shots, Dahipuri, chilli panner, crispy bhajia, Noodles , dosa and so more . Food was extremely tasty and received great customer service. Can’t wait to visit again.

I would definitely recommend Pooja’s restaurant. They offer a wide range of different dishes which are unique, such as Panipuri shots. All the food is delicious. Also, they offer many great dishes which are suitable for Jains. This is really good since many other restaurants don’t offer this. The staff is very caring and helpful and the atmosphere is also very nice.

Ordered plain dosa got burnt masala dosa. Ordered kofta curry and got rusamuthiya with cardam. Did not taste great.

Absolute joke. Food was disgusting. I actually spat out one dish because it had clearly gone off. Timing was a disgrace. They were just waiting around for an hour before they even started cooking our mains which then came out rushed and flavourless. This is all despite us being the only people in the restaurant. We now know why no one else was here. Cheese dosa with processed cheese that wasn’t melted. Mogo that was mouldy. Curry that was tasteless. Chilli paneer without chilli. Yet they still thought that 12.5% service was acceptable. Joke.

Such potential, but badly let down but incredibly poor execution. Had read the mixed reviews but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. We were a party of 7 including kids who came in early at 6ish on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty empty aside from our party. We ordered a few simple things of the menu for the kids including dosas which came fairly quickly. We followed up by ordering a few dishes for the adults around 15 minutes lates. These took between 45-60 minutes to come to our table only after repeated requests as to where our food was. And it was one disappointment after the other. The mixed grill came with Mogo that was clearly off. 3 members of our group spat it out at the same time. On raising this with the restaurant they took it back to the kitchen but came back saying the chef had tasted it and said there was nothing wrong. But they did say they would not charge us so we moved to the other menu items. The undhiyu was something we were really looking forward to. However it tasted like it had been stored in a deep freezer and then heated up. Very off-putting. What a shame. We had also ordered the bhindi and that was actually pretty tasty. And then the 12.5% service charge. I mean if the waiting staff had been attentive, looked like they actually cared about our reaction to the food then yes I would have considered it (note most central London restaurants don't even charge such a high charge!). But we were forced to go to other tables to get our own napkins. The lady at the front was on conversation on her mobile phone whilst we tried desperately to get her attention, but clearly a new empty restaurant doesn't need to focus on the one party left in its restaurant! We didn't pay the service charge as a result. In summary you really want this place to succeed because the menu inspires memories of home. But what is clear is that they have not taken on board any of the comments posted in the numerous reviews. Do yourself a favour and skip this place. Head on to Masala Coal just next door.

We really wanted to like this place as it's local and we enjoy vegetarian indian food however we were really disappointed with everything we ordered apart from the naan bread. Everything was overpriced by atleast £2-£3 per dish, the quality was strange on a few items and the portions are tiny. Sorry but they really need to have a look at their menu options quality and pricing.

Excellent food , with spot on service , purely authenticated vegetarian food in the area, We did Lunch today with family and ordered Undhiyu, Rotla and Chef Special Veg Kadai , Food was delicious, they give hand written paper bill but manager explain the reason the printer has hardware error so no fuss and understandable , i definitely recommend this place and we will visit again.

Went for lunch. Portions were small and the food was oily. There was no mention of service charge and we were charged 12.5%. 6 of went and when asked for a jug of water it came only with 3 glasses. The bill was hand written and very unprofessional. The service was poor. I would not recommend it and I certainly would not go back. Food was too pricey and tasteless.

We had a craving for Paani Puri ... and it was really good in here. We also liked the Pav bhaji and kulfi. It's near to our place and it's worth the money. Great flavours. Totally recommended.

We visited this restaurant recently and i tell you its a most traditional Indian vegetarian curry's i have eaten so fart , perfectly delicious and cooked. We ordered Mumbai street food and Kathiyavadi and its just delicious.

I’ve had only a takeaway from here so far but I must say we are highly highly impressed. They have tons of vegan options which is great for me as I am a vegan. We tried the bhindi and the Turka daal and both were sooooo delicious and fresh tasting. I cannot explain in words how enjoyable and flavoursome it was. I really hope they keep up the high standards and amazing attention to detail. I will be visiting again soon. The only thing I would say is I wouldn’t mind if the takeaway box was a tiny bit more filled up. I have since eaten in this restaurant with 3 naughty kids and they were really accommodating. The service was so friendly and attentive. The food was as good as ever and most importantly freshly cooked. Looking forward to going again

This was our second trip to Pooja's as we enjoyed it the first time around. We went out with the expectation of enjoying a Saturday evening with good food and drink but were left so disappointed. The food and drinks where very poor quality; tasteless carrot juice, stone hard maki ki roti, chewy bhindi to name just three of the items we ordered. What made this worse was the attitude of the staff. When enquiring about the stone hard roti I was told that it would have been better to order a different style of roti from the menu! One of the waiters also started crossing out the mocktail menu when I asked to order one for my wife, saying that they had stopped offering this. Unfortunately I didn't notice that service was also included in the final bill as I would have definitely not paid it. All round poor effort and no chance of us returning for a third time.

We went to Pooja’s restaurant for an early Father’s Day surprise for my dad. The location of the restaurant is very good with plenty of parking, the staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was tasty and fresh will definitely visit again!

I went to this place on my birthday with my family. This is a nice little place, very friendly staff. I reserved my space for 8 people but the number increased at the end but manager was very accommodating, she quickly arranged the seats for everyone. I was very impressed. My mother who always avoid eating outside because of too much spices etc but we all loved the food and the manager herself at the end came and treated me as it was my birthday. We all feel very welcomed and stayed there till closing time.

I just want to be honest - after trying several Indian restaurants around this area. don’t expect too much . It is just a below average restaurant. Quality , quantity, price - all considered . It deserves 1 rating.

Nice tasty Indian food. Great service. A negative feedback on a dish was provided and the owner quickly rectified it and gave us another portion.

Awful food, appalling customer service from the owner. No class compared to other local Indian restaurant. Highly recommend that you AVOID at all cost unless you wish to throw your money away on tasteless food. The owner needs to build capacity to listen to customer feedback and drop the ego considering there is no proof of success having been open only 2 months.

I was pleased to find this gem with authentic Indian vegetarian food. I wish the owners all the best and success in their venture.... I am going back to try out all their dishes, my compliments to the chefs. I like family managed restaurants as they add to the warmth.

Very poor service. We were given sample sized containers for our food which is in contrast to the large tubs which we received on our initial order. After justeat delivered the food, We returned the order directly as we were not happy. Upon speaking with the female owner, she attempted to mislead us about the sizes of the portions until I showed her an image of our previous order. Subsequently, we were advised that the food would be exchanged for larger portions. However, the owner took our bag to the back and returned with the same food(which was now cold) and simply added a large tub of paneer. To make our point even clearer, we waited half an hour for a paneer curry. On top of this, a family left whilst we were being served as they were also disappointed with the food and service. I would avoid ordering or visiting this restaurant!

Went there for the first time today with my family after eagerly waiting for it to open and first impressions of the place were very good. Appearance: Clean, welcoming with a nice ambience. Staff: The two staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. We went during a quiet period so she took the time to speak to us and engage and accommodate our young child too whilst the waiter was also very good efficient and professional. Menu: In my opinion, a very good variety of food. Extensive menu with plenty of options I found myself wanting to try everything. Food: I thought the Bhajias were amazing. Crispy, tasty and served with a delicious tangy chutney. The portion was a good size for 2 people. My Dosa was slightly bland and the serving of sambar was a bit small. Was unsure whether they top it up but didn't ask. If they don't they should do. The aloo paratha and kichedi was delicious and even though I didn't try it I know so because my 2 year old sat and ate it with no issues whatsoever!!! Value: Overall, I felt for what we had it was slightly pricey. Looking at the bill though, the food is very well priced but I personally felt that £2 for a can, £3.50 for Juice and £1.50 for a little bit of yogurt of which my kid had only a spoonful is obviously where the money is made up. Not to mention the 12.5% service charge they automatically add. Conclusion: Would I come back? Definitely. Such a good variety and great service that its certainly worth another visit. Staff were outstanding and would also recommend to others. Room for improvement but looking forward to going back! Exactly the type of restaurant this area needs.

The portion is very less according to the price. Poor customer service. Ordered 6 items all taste less. Charged £2.99 for hot idly, where as in menu it was priced at £1.99. They charge 12.5% service charge which is not mentioned in the menu clearly (eat in). This was the first and last visit.

We went for Mother's Day lunch. The food was very nice, freshly cooked. I would recommend this place, but do try to order your food in one order as the kitchen can get very busy due to the food being freshly cooked. Reading the reviews from others I agree that the service needs improving, but a new restaurant takes time to adjust, I would recommend to go at a less busy time as the food is fantastic. I don't agree that management are arrogant, they are just really busy - give it a go for sure!

Group of 10, booked for Mother's Day (2019). We arrived a little bit late, but the owners were very accommodating. Food was excellent, and would definitely come back. They happened to be extremely busy the day we went, and so the service was a little slow (as would be expected). I think on a normal day, the service would be speedy and the waiters etc were very attentive (whilst being pulled in several different directions). Would highly recommend!
