Do not use their website. We placed a large expensive online order for an event and paid for guaranteed next day delivery by 6pm. At 6pm, we rang the website telephone number and were told, without an apology: it will be there in 2 hours. We rang again at 8pm and were told: we’re sorry, it’s with the delivery person and will be there in 5 mins. The order arrived at 8.35pm because “the delivery person went to the wrong address.” Do not trust this company with online orders and don’t use their website.

I went today to get some sweets for my brothers for Raksha Bandhan. I went to the Tooting branch because I thought the products would be fresh, as it is a large shop with what I thought would be a high turnover of goods. Unfortunately the Kenyan chawa I brought was stale, it had obviously been toasted to freshen it up. The peas kachori was not like others kachori we have brought from other sweet shops. I only hope the boxes of sweet I have brought as gifts for my brothers are okay. Furthermore when I asked for the bill i was given a bill with the total amount on it, it was not itemised so who knows the cost of the individual items were or if it was correct or overcharged.

I ordered some sweets for my friends and family and this is the state that i recieved it in. I gave them a call and complained about it and they guy refused to replace them told me to "put them back together youself."

Ordered few things for Diwali. Tasted that everything was fried in reused oil and tasted horrible. Motichoor ladoo tasted as if made is old vegetable oil. Never buying again.

This is the 2nd time I ordered from pooja sweets online. The products mostly came broken because of poor packing by pooja staff. Only bubblewrap at the bottom. All the sides and top had none so the biscuits were crumbled cookies! Also, the balushahi was dry. Where as the FAQ page says that all products are made fresh. But these were tastinh nearly two weeks old. Quite embarrassing that guests said that they were dry too. Cracked balushi and dry. How much more terrible can it get!! I will never order online from pooja sweets

Horrible!!! So for years, my mum has shopped from Pooja frequently. For sweets, ice cream and savoury food. Today her and I had to wait a whole 45 minutes!! Just for fresh pakoras even though the lady said it would be ready in just “10 mins”. Then after 10 mins, she says another 10 mins. You can imagine how annoying this was. After waiting more than 20 mins..This random man comes out and says “7/8 mins only”. We was going to leave then but the staff kept saying it’s almost ready. Awful service from all staff!! Not even an apology or compensation for wasting so much of our time & energy. The last two times my mum has been to Pooja they have had very disgusting customer service. I.e “forgetting to put all things in the bag but charging us for the items.” Around 40/50 customers were served right in front of me today and not a care in the world that me & my mum are STILL standing and waiting! They don’t even care if they lose their regular customers. Complaining to the manager had no effect whatsoever. Side note, considering it is a food store, they should all be wearing masks properly but most of the staff wear it on their chin like it’s a fashion statement. Absolutely disgusting- I am so appalled. Avoid!!! Not worth it!

Have ordered a few times , but ordered on Tuesday morning expecting items to be received by Wednesday Thursday latest before Diwali , I cancelled on Saturday and received notification this morning that they will deliver on Tuesday . Checked on there website and they have since put notification that all orders placed will be delivered after 7/8 days . I’m sorry that is not acceptable as that was not communicated when I placed my order on line on Tuesday early morning otherwise I would not have placed the order . You can’t deliver when convenient to yourself . Very annoyed and disappointed for this service .

Guys they are not selling fresh sweet, bec i brought jalebi box today,but very bad smell when i spoke to the staff they said to me its was saffron smell , they r just make me fool , i know that fresh and spoil smell ,so kindly be aware of please , not buy again. Even i m recommend to not to buy any more sweet from , pooja sweet in kingsburry branch. Also the staff is not taking responsibility, only they they wany to play with the food...

They need to think again about the person they are letting to serve the customer. A mannerless person can't stay at the front. Such a poor attitude from the salesman. Need to work a lot. Never gonna visit again.

Pooja sweet provide good quality sweets and savory snacks. I really like their Jilabi. I would recommend a visit to this shop.

Bought 3 boxes of sweets from Pooja yesterday. 2 to give to our friends & 1 for ourselves. Very nice indeed.

No puedo comentar sobre los dulces o samosas, tuve el Thali (selección mixta). Aunque parecía estar fresco y bien presentado; El sabor, sin embargo, era insípido y decepcionante. Tal decepción.Cualquier fragmento de atmósfera se echó a perder por, presumiblemente, el niño del propietario tocando un programa de televisión, en los parlantes de su teléfono: ¡cómprele unos auriculares!El servicio fue lento, a pesar de estar prácticamente vacío, y el personal indiferente. Luego tuvieron la audacia de incluir un “cargo por servicio” del 12% en la factura. Debo haber parpadeado y lo perdí. ¡Qué insulto!Yo no voy a volver.

Visitamos este lugar para auténticos dulces indios y el lugar no nos decepcionó.Estábamos a pocos colegas de la oficina, y juntos probamos el comienzo besan ladoo, jalebi, balushah a sompapadi.El sabor es tan bueno como el de las buenas tiendas de dulces de las ciudades metropolitanas de la India.También probamos Dahi Chaat y eso también fue bueno. Definitivamente los visitaremos otra vezEste lugar también se entrega en todo Londres.Se lo recomiendo a Besan de lado y som papadi.

The Senior Staff member in this Shop is the Rudest person ever as she doen't know the meaning of the word being POLITE & Friendly to Customers. This woman is the RUDEST person i have ever met. AVOID this shop and its RUDE STAFF.

A bit overwhelming for the confused English visitor, but we have found the sweets to all be excellent - and the samosas are really great. Popular with local Indian families for vegetarian snacks and sweets.

Mi favorito comida vegetariana para llevar en Yo lo intentaría con una amplia variedad de dulces deliciosos y dulces - favoritos personales incluyen Samosas (más pequeñas), Kachoris (guisantes, lentejas/Ondwo) (solo los fines de semana).De tarde, con un montón de errores en el cálculo de las facturas y el embalaje lo que ha sido pedido. (capacitación de personal? El volumen de personal? ?Ahora he comenzado) pidiendo una factura pormenorizada y comprobar qué ha sido pic antes de salir de este lugar!

I have visited Pooja many times but only for sweets. Everything that I have tried is good quality and tastes delicious. Great value for money

If you visit this area - you will see that Indians from all parts of India have stores here. This sweet or snack shop offers delicious samosas, Gujarati dhoklas, kachoris etc. We will return to buy again.

Hemos estado viniendo aquí durante años, mi marido que introdujo el samosas demasiado y nos encanta. Los dulces también están bien, siempre nos servicio rápido, la tienda está muy limpio. Además siempre se puede probar si no estás seguro. Me hubiera gustado que hubiera abierto 1 más cerca de mí, pero los 45 minutos en coche está la pena

This is my all time favourite Indian takeaway! Clean shop. Very pleasant staff. Delicious food. The only place I insist on getting food from when in Tooting.

Se amate dolci e Samosa troverete un assortimento indiano “dolce e salato” di prim’ordine. Le samosa da degustare sul posto o portare a casa sono squisite con o senza cipolla. I dolcetti, se amate quelli orientali ricchi di zucchero, miele, e frutta secca, sono deliziosi. Ne abbiamo mangiati, offerti, e portati a casa più di una volta! Provateli!

We loved the proximity to the tube station (Queensbury). We are from Canada and the sweets at these place are excellent. We loved the chocolate barfi and the plain barfi. We took it with us in a gift box and it lasted a long time. Definitely will be back!

They're the best! Their Bombay mix is also to die for. Friendly and efficient staff. Their curries are also reasonable, vegetarian and delicious!

The best samosas this side of India and the aloo papri chat is also a family favourite. This is our go-to place for take out and we have been eating the delicious savoury Indian snacks for about 20 years without the quality wavering. You can't go wrong!

I used to frequent this shop a lot when i was a student, went yesterday for a selection of mithai and some samosas, wasn't disappointed! this place is by far the best tasting Gujarati food in the uk, and believe me Ive been to a lot of similar places.try the samosa chat, its the dogs b******ks! will always go to this chain of shops whenever Im near, and especially now as they have a branch in my home city of cardiff. the staff are very friendly and helpful, they let you try the sweets before you buy.

I wonder if they open a branch in Croydon too. There quality and taste of mithai is so good and fresh

mouth watering indian sweets, chats and other savouries..even writing about it makes my mouth water..only down is long q's..but anything for lovely food..

Although famed for it's sweet dishes, the samosas and savoury snacks have always been my preference. Very cheap and delicious.NOT really a restaurant. It's a shop and you get food (can request it hot) to takeaway.

a favourite for everyone for it's fresh authentic and made on the premises sweets and savouries,don't see the original people there any more but the quality is still there,pricey compared to most others of it's type but you will taste the difference
